Styles Posted July 12, 2004 Report Posted July 12, 2004 Through an odd coincidence, I'm going to be in Toronto the weekend of Summerslam staying in a hotel blocks away from the Air Canada Centre. As long as Im there, I'd love to stay an extra day and see the show...but it's sold out (although ticketmaster is showing a few upper deck tickets avaliable, but I'd like to do better than that). I only need 1 ticket, but looking at those sold out ticket brokers online, the prices are ridiculous (literally approcahing 1,000 [American] a ticket) and eBay seems to only be selling in pairs. So for those of you who have gone to events in Toronto, hows the scalping scene like? Would I be able to get a decent ticket the day of the show (for a decent price, say no more than 100 Canadian for the floor)? Furthermore, anyone have an extra ticket they're selling? Anyway, do you think I'll have any luck finding a ticket the day of the show?

Yeah right, they were $400 to begin with, you'd be looking at least $600 off scapling. I dont know how the scapling scene is.. Look in a few newspapers thought. Apparently there are a few deals going on, where you get free 5* accomdations for the two nights, a ticket to SS and the pre show (Saturday Autographs and stuff), for $200. Not the greatest seats I doubt, but it would still be a thrill for those prices.

Ive only been to RAWS/Smackdown so usually the best seats aren't more than 50-70 American, so I guess I was off. Still would be looking for something in the main concourse. Maybe, I'll just get the upperdeck seat from Ticketmaster, and then I'll at least have a seat and I could find a scalper and see if I can trade up...
