Guest Jack Potts Report post Posted July 13, 2004 I just wanted to solicit any opinions the board had about Lita's promo last night. Although her acting skills have been suspect throughout the entire Kane-or-Matt's-baby angle, especially when it comes to weeping, I thought she cut a great promo last night. It felt natural and real, and Lita projected great intensity throughout it. We've all been fairly tough on Lita recently (some of deserved, some of it not), but I have to give credit where credit is due. I'm glad she's finally taking a stand, and I'm also glad she's found a role that she's actually comfortable in, allowing her to work well within its bounds. I still think this storyline is a stupid waste of time, and the reasoning behind everything is way retarded - oh, I slept with you to protect my boyfriend, who is a professional wrestler and stuff, but you're SCARY and might maim him, oh, what's a girl to do!? - but at least she finally did well with a promo. I think it was her best promo ever. I guess there really isn't much competition though, huh? Jericho was funny last night, especially with the "we don't settle things privately here on Raw!" line. She could have gone all Tori and X-Pac on him when mentioning that he's not the father and that would have been better. Unfortunately, the "What do you do when one of your hosses hasn't won a big match in like three years and the other guy doesn't have anything to do?
