I remember going to Toys R' US about a year ago and they had Dreamcast games and Nintendo 64 games. I went back there today and they had Pokemon Puzzle League and Perfect Dark. (Let me know if they are any good) With that, I was wondering, when another system comes in (Playstation 3, etc.) with the games and accesories, if these places cannot sell the previous generation of games, where do they go? Is there a giant video game liquidation center or maybe I have a business idea? Hmm...

Perfect Dark is an awesome game, and the Pokemon Puzzle League is actually a pretty decent puzzle game. I suppose I'd recomend both.

I've heard Blockbuster "liquidizes" it's stock by throwing them into a dumpster if they dont sell.

Yeah, and just about everyone has heard about Atari liquidizing about 6 million cartridges with a bulldozer somewhere in the New Mexico desert. Most of those are E.T. carts, too.

I thought those were all E.T. cartridges, actually.

Probably a good bit of the ones that get dumped are worthless old sports games.

Many unsold copies of Grabbed by the Ghoulies were melted down and made into playground equipment, supposedly.

Of course, there are select few games that are discovered to be "rare," then people snatch them up.

When I worked at Toys R Us they always had a bunch of old crap in the back. Like PS2 was out and we had Saturn and SNES games that wouldn't sell. They'd just sit there forever.

This is how it works for Gamecrazy

Hollywood gives to Gamecrazy, Gamecrazy sells to the customer, customer either sales it back or refunds it, then we re-sale it or defect it, the process repeats itself. Otherwise people trade in their old stuff.
