The first eight movies are coming to DVD in a boxset. Also there will be a disc of deleted scenes. Its going to be a five disc set. Anyone else excited about this boxed set besides me?

This works out perfect for me, as I already have Jason Goes to Hell, Jason X, and Freddy vs. Jason on DVD. I'll definately be buying this set.

They changed the coverart recently, but that hasn't stopped a lot of diehards from loudly complaining about the set. Some films have no commentaries, while 'uncut' versions of the films were promised and won't be delivered. Plus, deleted scenes will be on Disc 5 (Extras Disc), not with the movies that they're from.

 

But hell yeah, I'm buying it.

Yeah, the first eight are from Paramount and Jason Goes To Hell, Jason X, and Freddy vs Jason are from New Line.

Any info on how different the uncut versions are? I personally have never read much about that subject, but hear about it a lot.
