Corey_Lazarus Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Ask Lawless what the hell he actually said during the promo when Damien Steel bought the XPW title off of him. All I could understand was "I like the green and black better than this piece of gold. Have it man, it's yours."
LucharesuFan619 Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Posted October 1, 2004 Ask Lawless what the hell he actually said during the promo when Damien Steel bought the XPW title off of him. All I could understand was "I like the green and black better than this piece of gold. Have it man, it's yours." No problem. Will do. Not sure if he'll remember exactly, but I'll give it a shot.
LucharesuFan619 Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Posted October 1, 2004 I'm hoping to have answers about whether two former-XPW superstars will be contributing, in the next few days. So stay tuned.
Zack Malibu Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Given that he's my favorite out of the XPW gang, I'd look forward to hearing about The Enterprise's departure from Kaos, as well as working with Waltman, how it was decided he'd be the "golden boy" of the company, the rumored TNA deal and Wildside matches, and how things are going now with his CZW deal. Also, anything as far as his entry into CZW, and the returns of Justice and M-Dogg, and any uneasiness there may be amongst the CZW boys who were adamantly anti-XPW. Then tell Kaos that Zack Malibu thinks he was the best thing out of XPW.
PsychoDriver Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 List of questions: Ask Homeless Jimmy if he really ate that dog food, and if he thinks he lost his edge once he actually started winning matches and talking. Ask Kaos if XPW ever had big plans for the angle with Supreme, his thoughts on the "E TV" skits and if he ever thought XPW would ever take off in the begining. Ask Jeff Linberg... "So... who the hell is Jeff Linberg?" Tell Patick Henandez thanks for telling me where the bathroom was at the last PWG show. I was about to use the bushes.... Ask Jake Lawless how he reacts to comparisons between him and Kevin Nash/Diesel. Thanks!
LucharesuFan619 Posted October 1, 2004 Author Report Posted October 1, 2004 Now that I see your avatar...No. JK.
PsychoDriver Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Now that I see your avatar...No. JK. What? now you don't like Former XPW superstar, Excalibur or Burritos? Man you are weird... Oh and ask about the Heat Wave Incident. I've never heard anyone discuss that one before.
Zack Malibu Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 I'd also like to hear about any ideas Shane Douglas had that never came to fruition. Honestly, I'll enjoy hearing anything about Douglas since he's always been a fave, but it'd be pretty cool to hear about his life on the creative end of things. EDIT: Obviously I know you're not in contact with Douglas as you are with Kaos, etc., but if you could dig any of this type of stuff up, it'd rock.

GQ Money told me some stuff about Douglas, so that'll definintely get out. I'll try to get some out of Kaos, M-Dogg, J-Pro, etc. too. If Chris Candido is still going to work indy dates even though he's now with OVW, I'm going to try to set up an interview with him at a local show, so if I succeed in that, I'll ask him, too, but I doubt he's still accepting indy dates.
Copper Feel Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 im not sure if this was supreme or kaos. but if it was kaos can you ask him about the accident where he was almost burnt in the ring? and also what deatmatches in general are like?
Zack Malibu Posted October 2, 2004 Report Posted October 2, 2004 That was Supreme who got toasted in a flaming table stunt gone awry.
LucharesuFan619 Posted November 5, 2004 Author Report Posted November 5, 2004 As you can read in the newly-made thread, SCCW - the organization that in many respects was the precursor of XPW - is set to reform in the next month. SCCW featured the likes of Dynamite D, Johnny Webb, Homeless Jimmy, Danien Steele, Kevin Kleinrock, and others before they were in XPW. The official web site of SCCW is SoCalCW.com. SCCW will be run by the same three men who it was run by in the late '90's - Dynamite D, Patrick Hernandez, and Kevin Kleinrock. I hope to have the first music video of the "History of XPW" series done in the next couple weeks. Whether it's done by then or there's an unforeseen delay for some reason, I promise you that it will be unlike anything you have ever seen before. Also, expect more names to be added to the list of contributees. Kaos, Dynamite D, Jake Lawless, Homeless Jimmy, and Patrick Hernandez are the newest contributees. They'll join Johnny Webb, Carlito Montana, Verne Langdon, GQ Money, Steve Rizzono, Pogo the Clown, and many others.
pgi86 Posted November 5, 2004 Report Posted November 5, 2004 Awesome ,awesome job. Can`t wait for the next part.Keep it up.You`re doing a great job.
LucharesuFan619 Posted November 27, 2004 Author Report Posted November 27, 2004 Coming in the next couple weeks: An amazing music video showcasing the history of XPW as you've never, EVER seen it before. Never before seen footage and photos from HeatWave, autograph sessions, the ECW discussions, Slammers, and more. This is unlike anything XPW-related that you will ever see. Stay tuned - over the next couple of years, the story of the promotion that forever changed Southern California independent wrestling will be told.
LucharesuFan619 Posted November 27, 2004 Author Report Posted November 27, 2004 I've contacted former-porn star and XPW valet Jessica Darlin to be a part of this retrospective. I hope to have an answer from her within the next couple of weeks. She's the second porn star to be contacted; Jasmin St. Claire was the first and refused, through her boyfriend The Blue Meanie. Whether or not she agrees to help out, best wishes go out to Jessica, as she's currently busy recovering from cancer and occasionally doing porno on the side.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted November 27, 2004 Report Posted November 27, 2004 she's currently busy recovering from cancer and occasionally doing porno on the side. There is something disturbing about that. But it should be interesting...
LucharesuFan619 Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 No reply from Jessica yet... But on a more pleasant note, good luck to Altar Boy Luke, as he wrestles JAMIE GIBSON (NOBLE) in NWA Florida in a couple of weeks. Since XPW folded, Luke has also worked Elix Skipper, Crash Holly, Joe E. Legend, BG James, Super Dragon, and tag teamed wtih Chris Kanyon in a WWE dark match.
LucharesuFan619 Posted December 6, 2004 Author Report Posted December 6, 2004 Even more congratulations go out to Altar Boy Luke. He'll be making his second ever WWE appearance, as he'll work as an extra for the 12/18 Smackdown in New Orleans, LA (his hometown).
r4g Posted December 7, 2004 Report Posted December 7, 2004 Stay tuned - over the next couple of years, the story of the promotion that forever changed Southern California independent wrestling will be told. ....YEARS? What happened to your big conclusion being 5 years to the day of when XPW had their first big megashow or whatever during 12/99?
LucharesuFan619 Posted December 7, 2004 Author Report Posted December 7, 2004 Stay tuned - over the next couple of years, the story of the promotion that forever changed Southern California independent wrestling will be told. ....YEARS? What happened to your big conclusion being 5 years to the day of when XPW had their first big megashow or whatever during 12/99? Nothing at all, seeing as how it never existed. I hyped that the retrospective would begin on the five-year annivesary of XPW's debut show (7/31/99). If you look at this thread, it began on that day, 2004, so I kept my promise. I've been saying for months that the retrospective is going to take a few years to do, but when you see the finished product it'll all be worth the wait.
pgi86 Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 Btw,just wondering. When will the MV and the next chapter be released cause I can`t fricking wait!
LucharesuFan619 Posted December 10, 2004 Author Report Posted December 10, 2004 Hey, thanks for the interest pgi. The MV should be up in a month, I'm hoping. I'm waiting on somebody from WTFBoards.com to capture me some very rare footage that I wanna feature in the MV. I can't say what that footage is because it'll spoil everything, but trust me, it's gonna be fuckin awesome. Here's the only hint I'll give: the footage is from '98, before XPW even existed.
pgi86 Posted December 10, 2004 Report Posted December 10, 2004 Great,awesome news.Can`t wait. P.S.Call me Phil
