I'm torn, since I've got both guys on my fantasy team; then again, I need to tell myself it's freaking fantasy baseball. I think the Cubs have a shot if they can get Schmidt's pitch count up high early, since that Giants' pen is a mess.

Big McLargeHuge Posted August 6, 2004 Report Posted August 6, 2004 Nope. Schmidt's start was moved to today. It's still unclear who is going up against Maddux on Saturday. I would've liked to have seen Merkin Valdez start, but Felipe looks intent on killing his confidence.
