no, he's not with the band currently - I forget the name of the new guitarist... but he was pretty good live

I liked parts of Promised Land and Hear In The Now Frontier but I'd say that ever since Empire they've been pretty blah overall.

This would have been a better idea than Empire IMO. Promised Land had some good stuff. The rest is all shite. Once again IMO. I don't have very high hopes, but I'll give it a listen since I loved Mindcrime back in the day.
