frisco Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 does any one know the name of Gail Kims finisher. Its that move she used to make Victoria tap recently. It kind of looks like an octopus stretch but I guess its some sort of sleeper and I was just wondering what its called.
Guest NoMercy Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I dunno what she calls it but Dragon Kid invented it and named it the Christo.
frisco Posted August 10, 2004 Author Report Posted August 10, 2004 its kind of a octopus stretch/sleeper thing. i'm justcurious because i want to use it for my swf finisher and don't know what to call it l
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Candace, I wouldn't worry too much about what it's called; as long as you can describe it well enough for the other writers to write it, call it whatever the hell you want. And, if you "need" a technical name for it, just ask Dace; he be the move smark.
Guest The Last Free Voice Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 I first Saw Low-Ki do it, and Tenay Called it an "Iron Octopus". Every other Place I saw just called it a "UFC Style Submission".
Guest NoMercy Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Are you talking about the headscissors into a headscissor with armbar?
Guest Markingout Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 It's a Christo, that's what everyone calls it. It's a tiltowhirl into the armbar.
Jericholic82 Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Gail Kim has a finisher? jk, but she hasn't used that since she beat Victoria with it, but I guess that can be considered her trademark move. But I always thought her finsiher was the "Blown Spot of Doom"
Guest TigerDriver91 Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Oh hahahaha oh look a blown spot joke. Oh I am dying of laughter over here from that incredibly stale attempt at humor. I have heard that Gail's headscissors/armbar finisher is called Sattelite in WWE. She has only used it on Victoria however.
Ced Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Is the Christo the same move as Tajiri's "Mr. Salty" in ECW?
Guest TigerDriver91 Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 According to Gail's profile at WWE website, her finisher is a Flying Hurricanrana? WTF?
Slingshot Suplex Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 If it's what I think it is, MsChif's version is called the Darkness Embrace.
frisco Posted August 10, 2004 Author Report Posted August 10, 2004 actally she's used it the last two or three times she wrestled. i know the wwe website called it a hurricanarama but that was her first finisher. WWE doesn't update their site on a regular basis. Anyway I like the sound of Iron octopus so maybe i;ll just use that.
razazteca Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Is the Christo the same move as Tajiri's "Mr. Salty" in ECW? That spinning backbreaker move he used one on tv? If so then that would be the La Reina, its the same thing as Shocker's finisher. I saw Ultimo Dragon use the Christo on Galavision one time.
Guest TigerDriver91 Posted August 10, 2004 Report Posted August 10, 2004 Rey Misterio Jr. used the Cristo on Smackdown not long ago.
Internet Warfare Posted August 12, 2004 Report Posted August 12, 2004 For anyone wondering what it looks like exactly go here. http://www.yucube.com/moves9.html Its move 203 i believe.
Jericholic82 Posted August 14, 2004 Report Posted August 14, 2004 Oh hahahaha oh look a blown spot joke. Oh I am dying of laughter over here from that incredibly stale attempt at humor. I have heard that Gail's headscissors/armbar finisher is called Sattelite in WWE. She has only used it on Victoria however. Hey thats why I said that, as a goof. I was purposely using a bad joke. Sorry for my lame attempt at sarcastic humor
Guest TigerDriver91 Posted August 17, 2004 Report Posted August 17, 2004 I was really surprised when Gail busted out the hurricanrana tonight on Raw. She hasn't used it for a long time.
