I watched both eps again tonight, and goddamn if it isn't twice as good as they were the first time around. I wouldn't change a thing yet.

And hey, who is everyones favorite character so far? Sayid or Charley for me.

I've got a couple of theories (and I haven't seen EVERYTHING yet, but here's what I'm thinking):

Something is up with where they are, and that's what makes me the most intrested. They are 1,000 miles off from where they where suppose to crash land (I think?), so as the Pilot said "They are looking in the wrong place." Something is up with the fact that for whatever reason, any transmission that goes out of there calling for help can't bee reached. There's Polar Bears, yet they have summer time conditions? Again, the most intresting part of the story is exactly where they are.

Something about the Iraqi guy: How did he seem to know what the numbers meant when he was listening to something that was an airplane? I'm guessing because when he was in the Republican Guard, he flew planes. So here's my crazy theory...Does anyone else other than me think that he was suppose to highjack the plane? Again, I don't know what the original route of destination was so I can't really say what possiblity there was for doing so, but I'm getting that vibe.

"We are all in this together now..."

The monster: Anyone getting the feeling this is just like Predator? I mean, the body on the tree...skinned eaten from the bone. Maybe because of their location, this is some type of Yeti.

The girl: She's got to be in for murder. After the Hick admitted that he was a prisoner (which I don't think he's lying), he made a comment about how he knew these type of girls, and she said something like "No you don't" after she took the gun away. Another thing I thought was intresting was she didn't know how to unload it, which makes me think she didn't use a gun when she committed her crimes.

I'll think of more when it comes to me.

I thought the guy who was overweight was really good (I don't know names yet.)

I posted the names on Page 3, for reference.

My favourite characters thus far are Locke (the old dude), Sayid (the Iraqi), Hurley (the fat dude), Jack (the doc), The Hick, and Charlie. Ok, that's half the cast ;)

They showed a different preview for next week tonight than they did last Wednesday. This one focused on Kate and the Marshall rather than Locke.

The Hick wasn't a prisoner, he was just talking about roles. Maybe he did some time before, but I don't think that will be particularly relevant to his character. The bigger thing about him was the letter he was reading.

Sayid knew about the numbers because he noticed that they played after each message +1. It's just logic. The question is, how has the transmitter maintained power for 16 years?

I heard the idea today that the monster was an elephant/mastadon. I like that theory.

I'd say my favorite characters are Sayid, Hurley, Charlie and Locke. Can't wait for this Wednesday.

Charley's my favorite so far. Although, really, I like pretty much everyone that's been featured so far. :)

What I love about Hurley is that when he was talking to Sayid, about him(Sayid) serving in the Gulf War, he assumed Sayid fought for the US. That was nice.

Can't wait 'til Wednesday.

Yeah, I knew that he wasn't a prisoner at the time but the way his attitude has been and the way he said it...maybe he was a well-known criminal from the past that he figured everyone knew about on the plane, but they were just misjudging him as the guy with the handcuffs on the plan...and not a criminal from the past. That's the only thing I see coming from it.

Theory on the letter: Wife/girlfriend just broke up with him...maybe they even have his kid and his life is falling apart which is why he's so bitter and arrogant at first. If they use my theory, maybe this particular female friend said she would wait for him once he got out...but found a new man instead.

The way he was reading it reminded me of how we would reread letters in basic training, and the issue between him and Sayid makes me think he has family in the military or he was in the military and that was a Dear John letter.

Right now Sayid and Charlie are my favorites. I'm digging Sayid though, I hope he lives atleast through the whole season

"Tabula Rasa"

Jack and Hurley discover an alarming secret about Kate, as the marshal's life hangs in the balance. Meanwhile Kate, Charlie, Sawyer, Sayid, Boone and Shannon ponder the island's mysteries they've uncovered and worry that telling the other survivors will cause panic, and Locke's befriending of Walt disturbs Michael.

I am HYPED for tonight's episode, mainly because I had watched last weeks episode before it aired so tonight is all-new for me and I'm glad it is.

More potential polar bears? Check

Kate and Shannon looking hot? Check

Hurley still runnin' shit? Check

Locke being a FUCKING BOUNTY HUNTER? Double-check.

It's on like neckbone.

SPEAK ON IT.

Fuck and I'm going to have to miss this to help retardedass people who call 411 and don't know what they're looking for.

Oh well.

ICN: Will cannibalism be contemplated? How many of the survivors do you think saw “Alive”?

DL: Cannibalism? Of COURSE it's contemplated... but summarily dismissed fairly early on. Most of them HAVE seen "Alive" (and "Gilligan's Island" AND "Jurassic Park"), but fortunately, they're not stranded on a snow-capped mountainous peak. They've got access to fish, wild game (hunting baby, YEAH!) and fruit. But don't be too disappointed -- just because they're not eating each other doesn't mean they can't be EATEN.

Some theories and musings:

What if they're on some freaky Island of Dr. Monroe thing?

The girl probably wasn't in for murder. I bet it was some federal white collar crime. Like she stole some money from her company.

The last few minutes w. the musical montage made up for the lack of Locke The Bounty Hunter, but fuck, seriously, "next week on Lost..." and it didn't motherfucking happen.

1. Locke finding Vincent and handing it off to the dad was class, and the look on his face at the end was sweet and they better follow it up with him going buckwild.

2. Every Sawyer scene owns. The man just tells it like it is. Who cares if he is a failure as a shot, the man tells it like it is.

3. The Old Aussie ruled, and I hope to see him or his haunted arm to make an appearance of the island.

4. Daniel Dae Kims character is the man. They should make him the king of the island, because he knows how to handle his womens. I hope they aren't doing the obvious thing with and the black dad (looks it up)...MICHAEL... cause we all know .... JIN... would beat his ass.

5. I am guessing she was a bankrobber and a robery went bad, people died, and she was caught by the Marshall. She woo'd the marshall and broke his heart which is why he has pursued her across the world.

6. Dude, Dude, Dude, Dude.... Dude... Dude... Hurley rules.

7. "A Miracle has happened"? I mean, it fits but... I was expecting more. I don't know what, but some part of my imagination filled the blanks in with something more.

8. Sayid throwing an orange at Sawyer, Boone getting the sunglassees for his sister, Charlie .. doing nothing ... Kate doing.... everything.... those last two weren't as good as the first two :)

I like that the character development seems natural here. There's so many other new series this year where it's pretty much...

Main Character #1: "Hey, good job today."

Main Character #2: "Thanks." *Holds a picture*

MC #1: "So you miss your wife, huh?"

MC #2: "Yeah. After that car bomb at the county fair, I didn't know how I'd go on with my life. It's hard, but I've gotta keep going, one day at a time."

MC #1: "Good stuff. See you tomorrow."

MC #2: *Painful gaze at the picture.* "Yup. Tomorrow."

*Fade to black*

I actually thought the end was kinda lame, when the dad and his son were hugging the dog, I thought I was watching a Cialis commerical or one of those cheesy drug commercials. Then it got awesome again with Locke, but still.
