Guest GreatOne Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Batista is clearly unharmed at the end of the match, leaning against the ring watching the pinfall. Further, the last offensive move we can see (all the way in the bottom right hand corner, showing you the importance) belongs to batista, kneeing Benoit in the ribs and banging his head against the barrier. Well there's also that little part where he leans him against the post and misses him and Benoit comes back and chops him at will but let's not stop your bitching, hell if we go far enough you WILL be weeping for Test. I would much rather see the Raw women wrestlers like Victoria, Gail Kim, Molly, Jazz have a match for 20 minutes Think about that, you just said 'I would rather see', Gail Kim, and 20 minute match in the same sentence. Hey, if you hate Raw so much then go watch MNF and stop your whining and bitching before your head explodes. From your posts it looks like YOU'RE the one who can't stand Raw. Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Man I would really hate to be some of you guys. I agree I didn't really enjoy RAW. But I enjoyed the Evolution segment and the Wedding from hell. You guys take wrestling to serious. And can't enjoy really anything, but Benoit, Benoit, and more Benoit. But whatever, we all have our opinions.

razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2004 There is a big difference between the WWE women wrestlers (Victoria, Gail Kim, Molly, Jazz, Trish) and the Diva Search bitches. Some are "talented" the others are fluff girls.
Guest Staravenger Report post Posted August 24, 2004 I agree I didn't really enjoy RAW. But I enjoyed the Evolution segment and the Wedding from hell. Agreed on those, the Evolution segment was done very well (Orton running wasn't bad, he learned his lesson from week before) and the Wedding was a classic...not because it was great, but because it was funny thus making it entertaining. Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2004 How in the world could anyone look at tonight's show like a normal show. It was clearly superlative, and in the good way. I love when WWE has decided to go through on something stupid, because you know the climax to whatever the dumb thing is will be worth it. Any time you hear someone say "Eric Bischoff reads the Bible," "Trish looks hot," "Kane looks pimp," "wall of fire," "suffle," and "wedding" all to describe the same segment, it's good. I can say without exaggeration that I'd be proud to later say I attended this Raw if I had. Oh, and "that dumb Afro bitch" is gone. Lovely powers of description you folks have. God I loved this Raw. I'll take what I saw tonight over 10 hours of ROH any day.

I've always had a difficult time getting behind his character, and despite what alot of people say, his promos still leave alot to be desired. But the idea that the former five month long world champion has totally been phased out of all top storylines and is relegated to the background of a manager match is absurd. Which the wedding segament did for me. It wasn't meant to be taken serious. I put the wedding under the same catogory as Milkamania. Very entertaining segaments. I mean you could even tell by the video they made it was suppose to be a joke.

Lt. Al Giardello 0 Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Everyone is overreacting the whole Benoit on Heat. Everyone main events Heat at some point. Benoit, Benjamin, even Public Enemy #1 HHH did. It's not going to be an every week thing. He will still be a upper midcarder-main event.

Guest Anglesault Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Everyone is overreacting the whole Benoit on Heat. Everyone main events Heat at some point. Benoit, Benjamin, even Public Enemy #1 HHH did. Usually they do it and still have some kind of important presence on Raw. Benjamin didn't because he broke his hand in that Heat Match. I personally, don't think these guys should ever be on Heat, but most of the time they have an important match or segment on Raw as well. JBL recently was on Velocity..as World Champion versus Shannon Moore. Booker T (US Champ) has been on twice recently. Just more proof that this company still needs serious work. They need to give up on making Velocity and Heat important. No one cares, they never will. Sticking big stars on a show filled with jobbers just makes the stars look bad, not the shows look good. Otherwise shut the fuck up about it. Explain how I trolled Benoit fans? You need to chill out. I'm just simply stating my opinion, which is what this forum is for. My intent isn't to bash every single Benoit fan there is. I'm just explaining everyone shouldn't take wrestling so serious 24/7. Everything can't always be about Benoit. I am personally a Benoit fan, and enjoyed many of his matches.

It makes him look unimportant. Really, why couldn't that set up a mini-Benoit/Batista match right there? Or even do the contrived "Now it's a tag match!" Guest JRE Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Benoit shouldn't be the focus of the match because it wasn't his match. So why should it be more important than the match? It wasn't Benoit's match, it wasn't Batistas match. It was just a way to spark their little feud. Benoit was fighting and not whining- that aint bad.

It wasn't Benoit's match, it wasn't Batistas match. It was just a way to spark their little feud. But nothing even really happened to spark a feud. They fought for like a minute as background noise in a pointless match and then inexplicably stopped fighting, despite the fact that niether guy was laid out. Aside from the initial Benoit run in, it was basically ignored.
