Enigma Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 On this August 24th, 2004, Vince McMahon, the owner of World Wrestling Entertainment, celebrates his 59th birthday. Use this thread to talk about some of the things that you like or dislike about this man who, like him or not, has become the Emperor of United States wrestling.
Guest Staravenger Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 He's 59 years old?! For someone in his physical condition, he looks at least ten years younger... if he would color his hair.
Enigma Posted August 24, 2004 Author Report Posted August 24, 2004 His face is starting to age somewhat too. But yeah, he'd look younger if he'd get some Just For Men or Hogan's spraypaint.
The Mandarin Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Yeah, he and one of my relatives share the same birthday, so I've always memorized it. Maybe they'll do something after the SmackDown tapings tonight. I know they did last year after Summerslam.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I have the same birthday as Eric Bischoff (May 27--also the beginning of the Outsiders/NWO, happy birthday indeed). That's about as far as I go. You can make the argument that the grey hair actually does more for him as opposed to say post-Montreal/pre-AustinvMcMahon when he still looked too much like '1,2, HEGOTHIM....NO, COME ON REF!!!!!!'
Guest Trivia247 Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 maybe Vince will feel the need to feel young and get back into the ring to beat on some one armed kid or some bed ridden guy, or take his main eventers and embarass them by getting in matches with them.
Guest thebigjig Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 he looks his age to me *shrug* I think he's aged considerably in the last 6 years

It was quite amusing.
2GOLD Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 He kept in great shape. Too bad his mind has went.
Lt. Al Giardello Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Remember when Angle, Angleslammed him through a chair on his birthday?
RavishingRickRudo Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 1 year closer to death. Hmm, we should start a pool... 03/11/2012
Lt. Al Giardello Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 1 year closer to death. Hmm, we should start a pool... 03/11/2012 That's not funny and very disrespectful.
The Czech Republic Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Yeah I'm gonna have to agree on that one. No death predictions please
RavishingRickRudo Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Yeah, that was tasteless of me. Too close to Christmas. Let's say July.
CanadianChick Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Not very tasteful guys. Then again, Vince himself isn't the king of taste either.
RavishingRickRudo Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I'm sure he has a death pool going on Hogan and Ted Turner.
RavishingRickRudo Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 So he can send Teds estate a lovely floral arrangement*. Vince is class like that. *The floral arrangement making out the WWE Scratch Logo
Styles Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Vince probably has it in his will to make his funeral a $34.95 PPV event, that will be hyped for at least 4 weeks on RAW, and released no more than a month after on a special 3 disk DVD set featuring Vince's favorite moments with his own pre recorded "beyond the grave" commentary.... ...I'd buy it.
Lil' Bitch Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 He's 59 years old?! For someone in his physical condition, he looks at least ten years younger... if he would color his hair. Well, when somebody is older than Ric Flair yet buffer than Hulk Hogan, that's when you know something is fishy.

Complete with the bonus feature of him rising from the grave to screw Death. "1, 2, theygotmeNOTHEYDIDN'T!"
Enigma Posted August 25, 2004 Author Report Posted August 25, 2004 04/25/2011 April 25th was the day my brother died.
Lord of The Curry Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 It's an unfortunate circumstance but I'm sure you realize I didn't mean to offend you with the date.
Vern Gagne Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 This will come back to bite me in the ass...but i think we've seen the last of Vince McMahon has a regular tv character.
Guest Anglesault Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 Really, should we be worried about being too tasteless when discussing a man who obviously has a thing for his daughter?
Guest DeathBecomesYou Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 This will come back to bite me in the ass...but i think we've seen the last of Vince McMahon has a regular tv character. That'd be nice wouldn't it?
Lil' Bitch Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 The after-SummerSlam celebration for Vince's birthday was on the Stone Cold Truth DVD. It was quite amusing. I agree, I wish it was in its entirety though.
