ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Well, here's my match. I'd like some comments on what I could have improved on. ____________________________________________________________________ "Welcome back to LOOOOOOOOCKDOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!" Comet calls out as we return from break. "And now it is time for the Main Event of the evening!" "With two people I can respect in this business!" Riley states. "And it's about damn time the shows had such a main event...Landon Maddix and Max King fighting it out for the ICTV Championship!" "Max King got this match by winning a Sudden Death Fatal Four Way at Storm, in a very controversial way thanks to..." Almost as if on cue, "Bitch" starts to play up in the arena now, and the negative reaction for the leggy Kelly as she makes her way out to the ring, tonight wearing a golden business suit that allows you to easily take her measurements with your eyes. "...of this woman...calling her a 'lady' would be a gross overstatement." Comet finishes as Kelly steps between the ring ropes, stepping forward and snatching DA STICK away from Funyon. "Don't even bother trying to start the introductions, Funyon. Because it's time for me to show you how it's really done!" she says, and pie-faces Funyon away from her when he tries to take the microphone back. "This is a lady I can support!" Riley says, happily. "If only she was a guy..." Kelly looks out to the massive crowd in the Ford Center, who are all booing and jeering at the redheaded manager of the challenger. "Oh sure, like I value the opinions of drunken, incest loving, flea infested trailer park trash like you people." Kelly replies to the negative reactions. "The only reason that I'm even bothering with any of you people is because I'm in a good mood, because tonight you're about to see the changing of the guard, so to speak!" Comet sighs. "Is she going to get to the point anytime soon?" "Jealousy is not your strong suit, Comet." Riley states "What is that supposed to..." "SHH!" Kelly smirks a bit. "Maddix had a good run with the belt, but I want to introduce everyone to the NEXT generation of ICTV Champion...a man with style, class, grace, and amazing in ring ability. Ladies and gentlemen, YOUR...NEXT...SWF ICTV Champion..."THE ICON"...MAX...KING!" The cue given, an explosion of fireworks, even grander than the usual for King's entrance, goes off now, and upon the start of "Superstar", Max King makes his way out, wearing gold ring attire instead of his usual royal blue faire. "Look at that Comet! Kelly and King are being prophetic right now with the colors of their clothing!" Riley comments. "That is a sign right there if you ask me...a sign that Max King WILL be your next ICTV Champion!" Comet hmphs at this. "Funny, I thought that you were a fan of Landon Maddix." "...well, that's part of the reason that I'm so conflicted in this match!" Riley states. "Besides, I don't know why, but I'm starting to slowly sour on Maddix. Don't know why, I just am." As King makes his way to the ring, ignoring the fans that say he sucks and those trying to throw garbage at him, he smiles and motions to Kelly with a smile as she holds the ropes open for him. King enters the ring, standing in the middle and rubbing his waist in the way saying he's going to win the belt, Kelly joining him in the rubbing as well. "PREPARE...FOR...LANDON!" ...WAAAAAHHHHH... *DUM DUM* "Megalomaniac" starts to play now, and with arrogance to rival his challenger, Landon Maddix stands proudly on the entryway, the lights going back on as he shoots his arms out to his side. The crowd reaction is mixed for him, but the majority still boos him as he motions his hands towards the stage. The reaction lessens only slightly when Megan Skye makes her way out, as the horny males in the audience start to hoot and holler for her. Maddix and Skye start to make their way to the ring, however having a more serious expression on their faces than the usual arrogant attitude. Funyon: And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Megan Skye, from Huron, South Dakota, weighing in at 210 pounds, he is the current and reigning SWF Intercontinental Television Champion...LANDON..."LA CUCARACHA" MADDIX! "After what happened earlier in the show, you have to wonder if Landon Maddix is really up for this match." Comet notes. "Then again, he is the champion, and you don't get there by not being ready for challenges." "My co-host, everyone. Master of the contradiction!" Riley comments as Maddix enters the ring, King almost taunting the champion as he enters. It's soon apparent that King and Maddix aren't going to be the only ones with conflict, as Kelly and Megan start to taunt each other, almost getting into a catfight in the middle of the ring...before referee Alex Nye breaks them apart....as "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" starts to play, and the crowd cheers REALLY loudly! "Wait a damn minute, what the hell is this about?" Riley shouts, as Manson steps out from the entryway, wearing his ring attire and a Genesis V t-shirt. "Apparently, Manson wants an up close and personal view of this match, just like Max King did in Manson's USJL defense with Vlad a while back." Comet replies. In the ring, King now is protesting with Alex Nye about Manson coming to ringside, as Manson grabs a steel chair and sets it up next to the commentator's table, apparently to just watch this match. "Well, this just shows you how jealous Manson is about Max King. When's the last time the Manson got a shot at the ICTV title?" Riley asks. "I don't think that's the reason at all. Kelly and Megan finally out of the ring now, and we're ready to start off this title match!" As soon as the bell rings, King and Maddix come to the center of the ring, both participants saying something to each other, but the camera is too far away from them to make out exactly WHAT they are saying. Eventually, both combatants smile a bit, until King puts a hand on Maddix's face, shoving him down to the mat with one hand! Maddix blinks in surprise at this, as King just smirks evilly, and taunts him to get back up to his feet now. "And apparently Max King is showing Maddix that he isn't going to be generous with what he's going to do out there." Comet notes. "We'll have to see if Maddix does the same thing to King." Maddix gets back up to his feet eventually, King just waiting for him to get back up. As soon as they're both on their feet, the two get in, locking up for a grapple for control. King, being the larger of the two participants in the match, easily manages to push Maddix into the corner, holding him there to attempt to clothesline him in the corner, however Maddix manages to duck under the arm and gets behind King, dropkicking him right between the shoulderblades, causing King to hit chest-first into the turnbuckle. With the wind temporarily knocked out of King, Maddix tries to cradle him up for the early pin victory! One! King manages to roll the rest of the way through the move, getting out of the pinning predicament. When King gets onto his knelling looks in surprise at Maddix, who is now telling King to bring it! "And a return of the favor by Landon Maddix, as he surprised Max King in the early goings here with that roll up!" Comet notes. "And the fans...well, they're indecisive!" Riley humphs. "They should be respectful of the fact that two great wrestlers like these two are competing in the main event here. I know I am!" King now gets up to his feet, as Maddix seems to be taunting King just with his motions. Soon, the two combatants are both back up onto their feet, King not looking as happy as he was just a few minutes ago...Kelly looking worried on the outside as well. Maddix smirks, going in to grapple with King again, but King is apparently ready for it this time, and once they're both locked up, King lifts a knee HARD into the gut area of Maddix, causing the champion to double over in pain, followed by a hard elbow shot into the small of the back! King doesn't let up at all, as he now starts to ram his knee into the back of Maddix, taking him down to the mat onto his face, then going to apparently put him in a camel clutch, but Maddix uses his speed to flip over just before King can lock on the hold, raking the eyes of King while Referee Nye is out of the proper position, then pulling out and grabbing the head of King, dropping him face first into the ring apron. Maddix gets back up to his feet before King can recover completely, going off of the ropes and sliding to kick him in the side of the head with a baseball slide dropkick. Being close enough to him on the outside, Kelly reaches into the ring and pulls King to the outside for some time to recover. "Maddix showing early on in this match that he has the experience edge over Max King, using his quickness and smaller body frame to slip out of King's grasp." Comet commentates. "I expect that for now, but it may not last long. Kelly and King apparently going over strategy on the floor right now..." Riley notes. King and Kelly seem to have worked out a plan of attack, and King is about to get back into the ring, but Maddix seemingly wants to taunt him just a bit, as he leaps to the ropes, spinning through them with his 605 move, just missing hitting King in the head with the kick part of the move. King now starts protesting once again for the use of such a move, but the referee ignores him and continues to count King, up to an 8 count before "The Icon" slides back into the ring. He's greeted as soon as he enters by Maddix, who drops a leg right onto the back of King's head while he's still down on his stomach. Maddix climbs up to the top rope while King is still down, leaping off and hitting a well-executed moonsault right onto the back of King, following that up by rolling him back over onto his back and going for the pin! One! TWO! King manages to kick out of this as well, but Maddix isn't letting up just yet. The Champ goes off of the ropes, attempting to catch King in the face while he's on his knees with a flying forearm. King however manages to avoid the forearm by rolling back a bit, causing Maddix to catch nothing but mat, and the challenger takes advantage of this by dropping an elbow right into the back of Maddix while he's down! "Look at that well placed timing by King there! This is why these two are among the best in this company!" Riley states. The crowd starts to boo a bit at King getting the advantage, much to the surprise of Megan Skye on the outside. King doesn't seem to let it get to him though, lifting Maddix up to his feet now and slamming the champion right onto his knee, following this up by pressing Maddix into an awkward position to stretch out the back of the champion. "Landon Maddix being stretched out with that backbreaker type move, and this is a smart strategy by Max King, as this would be a good body part to injure for the Compressor move that he has trademarked." Comet surveys. Kelly applauds King as he continues to stretch out the body of Maddix, while Skye tries to give her man some encouragement to get out of the hold and fight, but King's body mass is holding him at bay for right now. King eventually lets go of the hold, deciding to punish the champion just a bit more. He grabs Maddix by the waist while he's still down on the ground, picking him up to attempt a German Suplex, but Maddix manages to slip out just at the last minute, flipping to his feet as King crashes onto his back minus Maddix. King gets back up to his feet, only to be caught by a quick kick to the face. Maddix leans in to King while he's down on the mat, and locks King around the head with a side headlock, holding his body in a position so that the referee can't see his face, allowing him to use his free fingers to rake at the face of King while he's prone on the mat. King yells out in pain at the cheating tactics of the champion, as Maddix now continues to ram his knee into the back of the neck, apparently softening said neck up to damage King further. King fights through the pain that he's currently feeling, managing to get onto all fours while still in the headlock and pushing up to his feet again, Maddix on his back as he rams the champion back-first into the corner as hard as he can. With King managing to get a reprieve from the action for the moment, King takes advantage to rub his sore neck, trying to get the pain out so he can continue the match. Meanwhile, Maddix is hung up in the corner for the moment, his back hurting just a little bit at what King has done to him already. "Max King and Landon Maddix need to stop trying to recover and start trying to cripple!" Riley states. "This is a good chance for either one of them to cause serious damage to the other!" "But both King and Maddix are hurting right now, so they need the chance to recover before..." Comet isn't able to finish his comment, as King clotheslines Maddix right over the top rope to the arena floor, the champion hitting face first on the steel ring steps as he does! "You were saying, Comet?" Riley gloats. Max King smirks a bit at seeing Maddix land the way he did out of the ring, and steps through the ring ropes to follow the champion to the outside, apparently planning to attack him on the outside of the ring to gain a further advantage. First, Megan gets between Maddix and King, trying to prevent King from attacking, but Kelly quickly pulls Maddix's valet away, effectively keeping her out of the match and starting an argument on the outside of the ring. King manages to get a bit closer to Maddix at the moment, until Manson stands up, getting between champion and challenger to prevent an outside of the ring assault on the champion. "Wait a minute! What the hell is this about?" Riley shouts. "This is a match between King and Maddix, Manson has no business getting involved!" "He's not getting involved, he's just making sure that this match doesn't go unfairly in the favor of King!" Comet replies to Riley's protests. King smiles a bit, and just backs off for the minute, sliding back in the ring, apparently not wanting to be counted out of the match anyway. Manson takes his seat once again when King is back into the ring, and Megan makes a break away from Kelly, going to help her man back into the ring. The fans actually cheer for Maddix getting back into the ring to continue this match, which surprises everyone by ringside. "I'd say this has to be a first Riley. I don't think I've EVER seen Maddix cheered in a match in a long time, if EVER!" Comet says, surprise definitely apparent in HIS voice. "These fans are just a bunch of bandwagon jumpers. Sure, they jump to cheer him NOW, when he's been the champion for a good while." Riley states. Maddix crawls to the ring ropes to try to get himself back to his feet, a small cut apparent on his face from when he hit the ring steps. King, being the evil bastard that he is, sees the cut and decides to take advantage of this, grabbing Maddix by the hair and pulling him in to start repeatedly punching away at his cut to enhance the bleeding. Following up on the strikes to the face, King takes the head of Maddix and starts to grind the bleeding part of Maddix's face along the ring ropes, trying to further the bleeding on the champion and thus further weaken him. King smirks a bit more, almost laughing in the middle of the ring at what he's been doing to his opponent, and points to Maddix, shouting to the crowd "What do you people think?" Naturally, the crowd boos King as loudly at what he's been saying. "Even though Maddix has gotten the crowd unintentionally somewhat behind him, it seems that Max King is a LONG way from doing anything of the sort." Comet notes. "Ingrates. King is the star of the next decade...they need to realize that really quick if you ask me." "Which nobody really did, Riley." With the crimson mask covering the face of Maddix, King apparently senses that this match is about to be over, as he brings the champion to the center of the ring to continue on the punishment. Holding Maddix up onto his feet, King starts to now focus on the legs of his opponent, clipping them right out from under him, then flowing through to grab the leg on the way down, snapping it to the side of his body to apparently pull a groin muscle in Maddix. As Maddix holds his...area...in pain, King goes for a cover, making sure that he hooks the leg that he just pulled on to damage! One! TWO! Maddix uses his non-injured leg to kick out, but it's not a very strong kick out. King doesn't seem to mind this however, as he holds onto the leg and bends it, then presses his body weight into the leg as much as he can. "See, this is why I keep telling you that King is one of the smartest men in wrestling today, Comet. He knows the style of Maddix is heavily dependant on speed and high flying, and by taking that out from him he'll be able to prevent him from getting in some of his bigger moves!" "But Maddix is one resilient fighter, Riley. He's shown in the past that he can take a great amount of punishment, and this is just another test of just how much punishment he can take." King leans down to grab the other leg of Maddix while he's down, but Maddix takes a quick chance with King prone, and rolls him up into a cradle pin! One! TWO! King manages to kick out, and kicks Maddix right in the throat once King is back up to his feet. King lifts Maddix back up to his feet while he's holding his throat, and really quickly drops Maddix on his head with a quick snapping motion DDT that almost plants him into the mat. King goes for another cover, thinking that he's got the match in the bag now... One! TWO! Another kick-out by Maddix, and King starts looking frustrated at the recovery skills of the champion. Not taking any chances, he grabs Maddix into a headlock once again, squeezing as hard as he can with a headlock, pulling back with the hold as well. "That almost looks like a sleeper hold on the mat, Riley! If King is not careful, it might be deemed a choke by Referee Nye, and that could get Max King disqualified." "You worry too much, Comet. There's no way on a match of this scale King is going to let himself get disqualified and thusly lose his title shot. This is King's moment to shine." King continues to wrench and pull away at the neck of Maddix, and the champion's face is easily starting to turn blue at how King is pulling away at him. Referee Nye leans in, grabbing the arm of Maddix to check. He lifts it up, and it just slumps down to the ground without any life in it. ONE! "This is it Comet, I think I see a new champion in the very near future!" Nye checks the arm of Maddix again, with the exact same result as last time. TWO! Nye lifts the arm one more time, getting ready to ring the bell if the arm of Maddix drops again. THREE...NO! Maddix makes sure his arm does NOT complete the fall, and he starts shaking it a bit to show that he still has some life in this match. After taking a deep breath, Maddix tries to shoot his hips around to get out of the position where the move would restrict air to his body, and once he's free enough uses a quick hip and shoulder twist motion to take King over with a Fireman's Carry, and then pull away to continue to gain some oxygen into the body. "And Landon Maddix showing exactly the endurance I was talking about earlier, Riley. He looked to be out cold, but at the very last minute, he got out and saved his title reign." "I'll give it up for Maddix, as I've been doing for a while now. Unlike you, who are just NOW joining his cheering crowd." Riley notes. When King regains his bearings enough to get back on his feet, Maddix is right there, kicking King right into the abs, and just like King did to him earlier Maddix drops "The Icon" down with a DDT, holding his back and neck due to them both still being in pain. Shaking off the pain, he goes off the ropes, and drops his Dangerous Kneedrop right into King's face, rolling back to his feet right afterwards...apparently getting a second life to him right away! Maddix gets into the nearest corner, and starts stomping his foot, the crowd knowing what's about to occur. "Landon Maddix calling for the Sweet Disciple Music, and if he hits this in the face of King then I think we're going to have a successful title defense!" Comet notes. King finally, yet wobbly, gets back up onto his feet again, and Maddix just waits for him to turn around to blast him in the face with the SDM. His goal is for naught, however, when Kelly grabs his ankle as soon as Maddix is ready to strike, causing the champion to land into a split position right near the corner that he was near! "So THAT'S what a valet at ringside is good for!" Riley notes. "I always wondered why so many guys bring them with them to the ring, now I know!" "Kelly couldn't stand the fact that her man was about to lose the match, and she just interjected herself where she didn't belong! Now Maddix is probably going to need reconstructive surgery down there..." King gives Kelly the thumbs up behind the referee's back as she plays innocent to Nye's accusations. King pulls the hurting Maddix to the middle of the ring, climbing up to the top rope and pointing down to him, ready to leap off for a flying elbow drop. Turnabout proves to be fair play this time though, as Megan Skye nails King between the legs with a low blow as he's about to come off of the top! "I guess now King and Maddix are even, as both Kelly and Megan have gotten themselves involved in the match and have prevented their men from hitting something that could have potentially won the match for the other!" Comet notes. "And for once, I won't argue with you about it. Listen to these suck ups in the crowd though, actually cheering Skye. Where were they when Maddix was actually climbing the ladder to BECOME the ICTV Champion." King is still sitting prone on the top ring rope as Maddix starts to make his recovery, and La Cucaracha notices the state of his opponent, going to thank Megan on the outside, but stops when Kelly goes over to her, and the two women start arguing with each other again. In the ring at the same time, Maddix climbs up to the ropes, and hooks the arms of King, the crowd actually cheering in anticipation of what's going to happen. Showing amazing balance, Maddix starts ramming the chin of King into his own knee, weakening the challenger for whatever Maddix may have planned. Finally, feeling that King has been softened up enough by the knee shots to the chin, Maddix puts one of his legs behind the neck of King, and leaps off the top rope with his Future Shock move! Maddix quickly dives in to cover King! One! TWO! THREE...NO! "How in the heck did Max King get his shoulder up from THAT?" Comet questions, as everyone in the arena seems stunned that King managed to kick out of a top-rope Future Shock. "I'll tell you how, because he NEEDS this, Comet. Max King NEEDS to get the win here! He NEEDS to be the champion that he knows he can be!" Riley praises. "And that's why I'm going out on the limb and saying that King will get the victory!" "It's not looking too good for him right now, King is still down in the middle of the ring from that top rope Future Shock, but Maddix has gotten back up to his feet once again!" Landon Maddix looks down to his challenger, trying to figure out what to do to him to get him down for the count. Looking back to the ring ropes, he decides to scale them once again, Megan staying in the corner that Maddix is in to make sure that Kelly doesn't get involved into the match again. However, while the referee is counting towards Maddix for him going to the ropes, Kelly quickly slides into the ring and dumps a stolen cup of water right onto King's face to recover him. King recovers just in time as Maddix finally gets to the top rope, and showing surprising speed for someone his size climbs up to the ropes just before Maddix can leap off, and lifts him over and down with his Superb-Plex, staying on for the pin! One! TWO! THREE...NO! SOMEHOW Maddix STILL managed to get a shoulder up from the pin, and now both men are down in the middle of the ring. "Now if Maddix was smart, which I THINK he still is, he would just stay down on the mat and let the count just run out!" Riley states. "That is, if King doesn't manage to get back up...which he has now, so the count stops at three..." Max King smiles a bit, seeing that Maddix is still down on the mat, and signals by a thumbs-down gesture that the ending for Maddix is very near. King grabs Maddix by the hair, going to lift him by the hair...showing no mercy as he pulls him up. King pulls Maddix into the reverse DDT position, holding him there and going to grab the leg as well. "He's going for the King Buster, Comet!" Riley notes. "That could be just the break that King is looking for!" King smiles at the feeling that he's about to win the match, but suddenly Maddix rolls over the body of King, landing behind him on his feet. King turns around as soon as Maddix lands, and gets blasted right into the face with Sweet Disciple Music, taking him down to the mat hard! Maddix dives on again with the cover, not taking any chances and hooking BOTH legs with the cover! One! TWO! THREE...NO! King manages to shoot a shoulder up just at the last second, continuing on the match! Maddix wipes the quickly drying blood off of his face, knowing that he's so close to getting the victory in this match that he can almost taste it, and takes a few steps back to apparently let King recover. King is slow to get up, but that doesn't matter, as when he's up to one knee Maddix rushes in, going for his version of the Shining Wizard. King falls back, holding the rope open as Maddix flies in, and thusly causes Maddix to fly out of the ring knee first, the champion landing squarely on said knee onto the arena floor. King, seeing his opportunity to recover, crawls over to the referee to talk to him about the match thus far or something similar to that, diverting Nye from what is going on outside of the ring and thus preventing a count from being laid down on Maddix. The distraction of the official proves to be part of King's strategy, as on the outside of the ring, Kelly takes off one of her high heel shoes, and measuring the champion, nails him with the heel right into the gash on his forehead! While the referee never saw it, both Megan Skye and Manson were both fully aware of Kelly's dastardly actions, as they both surround Kelly on the outside of the ring...Manson behind, and Megan in front of her. "And it looks like the proverbial wagons have been circled around Kelly Connelly, and neither Manson or Megan seem to appreciate what Kelly just did to Maddix!" Comet states. "The wagons have been circled? Oklahoma has been bad to you, Comet!" Without warning Megan suddenly spears Kelly down onto the arena floor, and the two femme-fatales suddenly catfight on the arena floor, slapping and clawing their way at each other! The two women continue to cat-fight on the floor, Manson just stepping back and allowing this happen, as Maddix manages to climb back into the ring, barely conscious as he claws his way to the ring ropes again, where King is just waiting for him to get to. Max King smiles at the bleeding state of Maddix, and reaches down to pick Maddix up into a vertical position...then without any mercy on his face, hits him with a jumping piledriver that causes Maddix to crumple down to the mat almost in a heap. Feeling confident, he presses his hands onto Maddix's chest, holding him down for a pin. He soon realizes that there's no count being laid down, as he sees that the referee is down on the arena floor, trying to break up the fight between Kelly and Megan on the arena floor! "What is WRONG with this moronic referee?" Riley comments. "The match is over right now, and he's busy breaking up a fight between two chicks on the arena floor!" As Max King is about to go over and talk to the referee, Manson slides into the ring from the other side, much to the joy of the capacity crowd! "King, turn around!" Riley tries to shout to get his attention, but to now avail, as Manson hooks King's head, attempting to hit him with the Consequences. King goes to fight out of the hold though, slugging it out with Manson for a bit, the two hated combatants continue to brawl away. "This is getting violent fast, as these two rivals continue to brawl at each other during this match!" Comet states. "Maddix recovering behind King, and I don't think that King is..." Maddix suddenly leaps up to dropkick King in the back of the head, but due to King ducking a punch from Manson, the former USJL Champion is dropkicked right out of the ring, and King takes advantage really quickly, putting his body weight on top of Maddix for the pin! One! TWO! THREE! "Oh my...did I just?" "Yes you did Comet! Listen to this!" Riley says smiling. Funyon: Here is your winner, and the NEEEEEEEEEWWWWW...SWF Intercontinental Television Champion..."THE ICON"...MAX...KING! "You have to know that Manson was trying to cost Max King his chance at the title, but one misplaced move has cost Landon Maddix his title, and there's a new champion!" Comet notes. "I know, isn't it great? There's a new age of wrestling here, and it's the age of Max King!" Max King quickly slides out of the ring, taking the title belt with him as he slides out, and helping Kelly up as well. The crowd starts a really loud "MAX KING SUCKS!" chant at the new champion, who holds his title belt up high on the ring apron. "We have a new Champ, and his name is Max King!" Riley calls out just before the camera completely fades out.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2004 I don't consider this a loss. I consider it an opportunity. ------------------------------------------------------------- Fade in. "Welcome back, fans, to SWF Storm!" cries Cyclone Comet. "Up next, we have a contest between Tag Team Champions Hollywood Boulevard and the most conniving bunch of SOB’s in the SWF today!" "Not a big Revolution Zero fan, huh?" "Me? A fan of theirs? No chance in hell?" replies in the Caped Crusader. Riley pointedly remarks, "Toxxic is still at ringside, along with Jet, you know." Every light in the arena goes to full power as the Smarktron whites out. "Wel-Wel-Wel-W-W-W-Welcome to the Revolution!" The sound of a needle scratching vinyl is heard throughout The Ford Center. Fans immediately rise from their seats and nearly drown out Otep’s "Battle Ready" with jeers. Lightning strikes down from the heavens, hitting the stage and causing gold and red pyro blasts to erupt. The Smarktron shows half-second clips of its members' matches. Between the clips, the Smarktron goes white again and the words 'Revolution' and 'Zero' alternate. Funyon introduces to the rowdy crowd, "The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and is for the SWF World Tag Team Championship! Introducing first, making their way to the ring! Weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred and ninety-five pounds.. Accompanied by Marcus Washington.. they are ‘Hollywood’ Spike Jenkins and ‘The Perfect Storm’ Sean Davis! Revolution Zero!!!" The figures of three men appear at the top of the ramp. One man is a former Cruiserweight champion. He is out to prove that he is Superior then the rest of the SWF locker room, and will stop at nothing to regain the title he thinks he deserves. The other man is the current SWF Hardcore Gamers Champion. He is an unstoppable force of carnage, controlled by the man next to him, a scummy lawyer. They are Revolution Zero, and they are a force to be reckoned with. "This is Revolution Zero’s second shot at the tag team titles. They failed the first time around again 42nd Street," says Comet. "Yeah, but that’s because they made a mistake. It will never happen again. Toxxic won’t allow it!" "They went down to 42nd Street. But tonight they are in the ring with Hollywood Boulevard, the team they defeated a little over two weeks ago." "They didn't defeat just Hollywood Boulevard. They also bested the team of Masked Man and Max King AND The Wayward Sons," adds Riley. Spike and Davis enter the ring, while the remaining members of Revolution Zero gather at the front of the announcers’ table. The Oklahoma crowd begins their chants, as "Battle Ready" dies down. "SPIKE SUCKS!" "DA-VIS SUCKS!" "TOX-XIC SUCKS!" Toxxic enters the ring and the three grapplers of Rev0 simply ignore the crowd, while Marcus Washington and Jet get into some people's faces. Spike stretches on the top rope and Davis stands in the corner, both men staring at the entranceway. "Revolution Zero seems very focused tonight. I guess after Citizen Toxxic lost the SWF Championship to Citizen Dangerous, they can’t let up another opportunity like this." "Don’t you worry about Toxxic. He will regain the World Title soon enough." "This Is Your Life" by Switchfoot hits the speakers, and Mike Van Siclen leaps out from behind the curtain, raising one arm to the crowd and nodding with far too much swagger as he begins walking down the ramp. Behind him steps the ‘Urban Legend’ Todd Cortez, crossing his arms in front of his face as he walks down the ramp. Behind HIM comes the one, the only, Sexual Maskosaurus, briefcase in one hand, and a rubber chicken in the other. "And their opponents! Coming to the ring, accompanied by The Masked Man! Weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred and sixty-seven pounds.. they are the current reigning and defending SWF Tag Team Champions of the World! Hollywood Boulevard!!!" Cortez lifts his cross, kissing it, before sliding into the ring alongside Van Siclen. The two men go through their pre-match poses. Mask stands on the outside. Funyon exits the ring, and Referee Mr. Roboto goes to call for the bell.. ..But Revolution Zero attack Hollywood Boulevard before he can do it! "What a cheap shot! The bell didn’t even ring yet!" cries Comet from his announcing chair. "Hollywood Boulevard should know better then to turn their backs on Rev0!" Both members of HB receive rights and lefts from the challengers. Spike Jenkins knocks Mike Van Siclen back into the corner, while Sean Davis drags Todd Cortez to the ropes. DING! DING! DING!! "Happy? The match is officially underway." "No. No sir, I’m not," responds Comet. Davis hits a clubbing blow to the back of Cortez. Todd grimaces in pain, giving Davis the time to back up into the center of the ring. Davis charges towards the Urban Legend and attempts a clothesline over the top rope, but Todd ducks down, back dropping the Perfect Storm over the top rope to the floor! "Todd Cortez backdrops all 6’5", 275 pounds of Sean Davis over the top rope!" With Davis now out of the picture, Todd goes to save his partner. In the corner, Spike is pounding away on Mike with right hands. That is, until Todd turns him around and gives him a taste of his own medicine. Medicine of FURY~! "Todd Cortez pounding away at Spike with a bunch of hard rights!" Cortez grabs Spike by the wrist, and sends him into the opposite corner. As Spike hits the corner, he is face-to-face with an incoming Todd. Todd leaps into the air, latching himself onto Spike. He falls backwards out of the corner, monkey-flipping Spike! But to his dismay, Spike completes the rotation and lands on his feet.. ..Only for the momentum to get to Spike as he charges into the waiting arms of Mike Van Siclen. Siclen catches Spike, and quickly flings him through the air and back into the mat with a powerslam! Siclen holds Spike down for the cover! ONE! Spike gets a quick shoulder up. "Still too early in the match to keep Spike down. But if that would have ended the match, you know Toxxic would be pretty angry with the Hollywood Superstar." "It didn’t end the match. So there's no need to think of things that won’t happen," mentions Comet. Mike climbs up to his feet, pulling Spike up with him. Spike pushes Mike back, and is able to connect with a right hand. Mike stumbles back as Spike unloads a second right hand. Todd comes up from behind Spike, to stop the onslaught on his partner, but Spike sees him coming from the corner of his eye and Todd receives a back elbow from Spike. Todd stumbles back, but is able to duck under a right hand from the ex-Cruiserweight champion. Todd wraps his arms around Spike’s chest, stalling him long enough for Mike to get back into the action. Mike comes up from behind Spike, locking his leg around Spike’s and his arm around the neck. Mike drops backwards to the mat, while Todd slams Spike forward with a Russian Legsweep/STO combo!! "What a double team move by the tag team champions!" claims Comet. "An STO by Citizen Cortez while Citizen Van Siclen hit a Russian Legsweep! Citizen Jenkins must be out of it!" Todd breaks out of the mess, as Mike turns Spike over into the cover for the sure three count! ONE! TWO! THRE…NO! Sean Davis breaks up the count with an axe handle to the back of Mike! "Close save by Davis. If he wasn’t there, that brutal STO/Russian Legsweep would have ended the match for Revolution Zero." Davis gets to his feet, blocks a right hand by Todd, and connects with his own. Todd stumbles back, but is able to duck under an incoming lariat attempt by Davis. Davis continues his charge as he heads into the ropes. He bounces off the ropes, and comes back to meet a double basement dropkick by Hollywood Boulevard!! The dropkicks knocks Davis onto his face! Davis attempts to get up, but the faster champions get to their feet first and catch him with a double basement dropkick to the face!! Davis grabs his face in pain, and quickly exits out of the ring. "The champions have taken the early advantage, using their speed and double team maneuvers against Revolution Zero!" "Its not fair! Only one person from each team is supposed to be in the ring!" cries Riley! "Both members of Revolution Zero are in the ring, Robert." "But that’s because they are both being double teamed! Stop trying to pick a fight with me!" he whines. Hollywood Boulevard stands tall in the ring. The crowd is cheering for them, and Masked Man is swinging his rubber chicken in the air. Mike Van Siclen, newly turned face, enjoys the crowd cheering him for once in his life. Hollywood Boulevard is standing on top of the world.. ..That is until Spike Jenkins comes up from behind Cortez. He grabs Todd by the back of his hair, drags him towards the ropes and tosses him over to the floor! "Well, that epic celebration was cut a little.. short," laughs Bobby. Spike turns back to the other member of Hollywood Boulevard, only to meet a forearm to the face. Mike unloads a second forearm to the face, and a third. Spike stumbles back, giving Mike time to reel back for a fourth forearm.. ..That Spike counters with a thumb to the eyes! "That is illegal!" shouts Comet! "So is using a fist. But you don’t see anybody not throwing punches." "Except for Tom Flesher." "TOM FLESHER? WHERE?!" Riley pulls out a mirror. "Ive got to look good for Flesher!" "Right.." Comet trails off as action continues in the ring. Mike grabs at his face, thanks to the previous illegal tactics by the member of Revolution Zero. Spike grabs Mike by the hair and SNAPS him backwards, driving him head first into the mat! "Vicious head snap by Spike Jenkins!" Spike grabs Mike by the wrist and pulls him into the opposite corner, the Revolution Zero corner. Spike pulls the wobbly Van Siclen up to his feet and tosses him into the corner. Instead of continuing his assault, Spike turns to Referee Mr. Roboto and begins screaming in its face. Being that the referee is a robot, he can’t do much but beep. But that doesn’t stop Spike from complaining about the double-teaming from Hollywood Boulevard. While this is going Davis wraps the tag rope over the throat of Van Siclen, and begins choking the life out of him! "Citizen Jenkins is distracting the referee! Turn around Mr. Roboto!" "Oh, please. When HASN’T this happened in a tag match?" "That is true.. but it's still wrong!" "Revolution Zero is just taking advantage of a situation. If that situation involves choking Mike Van Siclen while Spike distracts our Robot referee, then so be it." Todd steps into the ring, and quickly charges towards the Rev0 corner. But before he can make it, Referee Mr. Roboto jumps in his way! Todd tries to get Roboto to turn around, but Roboto just beeps at Todd to get out of the way. Now with Rev0’s plan in full effect, Spike goes back into his corner and lays a pair of boots into the rib cage of Van Siclen! "Domo Arigato, Mr. Roboto!" shouts Comet. With the double-teaming of Van Siclen, Todd has no choice but to get back into his corner. Masked Man stands on the outside; biting down on the rubber chicken in disapproval, while the rest of Revolution Zero on the outside stand around with smiles on their faces. Mr. Roboto turns back towards the Rev0 corner, just catching a glimpse of Van Siclen falling to his hands and knees, coughing and holding his throat. With Mike down, Spike bounces backwards into the closest ropes, cockily walks back towards the choking Siclen, leaps into the air and drops a big knee across the back of the neck! Spike turns Mike over onto his back, and makes the cover! ONE! TW—No! Siclen slides out from underneath Spike, and immediately tries to crawl towards his corner. "Citizen Van Siclen knows that he has to make the tag to Citizen Cortez, or they will lose the tag team titles!" "Mike knows they are going to lose it one way or the other. He just doesn’t want to be the one taking the beating." Spike gets to his feet, and jumps right back on top of the crawling Spectacle. Spike grabs him by his head, pulling him back into a sitting position in the Rev0 corner. He locks his legs around Mike’s neck and drops to the mat with a head scissors! "Spike is going after the neck. He is a master of working the neck. It can lead up to either the Bad Beat or the Silver Lining," notes Riley. "Or Citizen Davis’s Avalanche or Cyclone Driver," adds Comet. "Or the Perfect Spike. The move that knocked Todd Cortez out cold last time these two teams were in the ring together." Spike pulls on the leg scissors, causing Mike to scream out in pain. Todd begins clapping his hands together, getting the crowd into it as well, doing anything to support his partner. Mask starts doing the Electric Slide on the outside, getting the predominantly cowboy crowd to go through the motions with him, as much as possible. Spike yells at Mr. Roboto to "Ask Him!", which Roboto does by asking Mike if he gives up. Mike yells out a "No", but grimaces in pain as Spike applies more pressure. JEN-KINS SUCKS! DA-VIS SUCKS! TOX-XIC SUCKS! Revolution Zero ignore the crowd, but do not ignore the opportunity that Mr. Roboto is presenting them. With Roboto asking Mike if he gives up, Davis lends a hand into the ring to his partner, which is accepted. Davis pulls Spike up, applying more pressure to the neck of Van Siclen. "I don’t believe this! Are there any lengths that these guys won’t succumb too to win this match?" "I really don’t think so, Comet. After Toxxic lost the World Title in a fluke, there is no way they will let this slip up as well." Siclen yelps in pain, but refuses to give up. Roboto turns his attention towards Spike, and CATCHES REVOLUTION ZERO IN THE ACT OF CHEATING~! Roboto jumps up, and breaks the lock that Davis has on Spike with an electrical jolt to the arm! It doesn’t hurt. It’s just annoying. Quickly breaking the hold, Spike gets up to his feet. He wrenches at the neck of Mike as he pulls him up to his feet. Spike gives Siclen a shove into the corner, and catches him underneath the jaw with an elbow. LET'S GO-O MI-IKE! CLAP-CLAP-CLAPCLAPCLAP! LET'S GO-O MI-IKE! CLAP-CLAP-CLAPCLAPCLAP! Spike heads out of the corner, into the center of the ring. Once there, Jenkins begins taunting Todd and Mask and daring them to enter the ring. Knowing full well not to enter the ring due to the previous double-teaming on Mike, Mask and Todd stand still. Spike waves them both off, and charges into the corner.. ..and is met with a charging Van Siclen as he bursts into action and downs Spike with a lariat that came out of nowhere! "Citizen Van Siclen with a lariat! He has to make the tag now! Citizen Cortez is still fresh!" "And he is angry. Remember what Revolution Zero did to Todd on Storm? Beat Down City, USA. Population, One." "What about the beat down on Citizen Flesher?" "DAMN SPIKE TO HELL!" With both men down, Roboto begins to count them both out ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! "If both men get counted out, Hollywood Boulevard retains the tag titles!" FIVE! Spike sits up, and begins to crawl over towards his corner. But so does Siclen! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! Spike reaches out and makes the tag to Davis. Siclen is almost there.. Todd stretches his arm to the limit, hand out, fingers reaching.. Siclen lunges and.. MAKES THE TAG! Wait! No, he doesn’t! Davis grabs Mike by his ankle, and drags him back into the center of the ring. BOOOOOOOOOOOO!! "Citizen Cortez was so close to getting into the ring!" "Close, but no cigar," mocks Riley. Davis releases Mike’s ankle, but pulls him up to his feet by his hair. With Mike up to his feet, Davis cracks him over the head with a HUGE headbutt that sends the Spectacle back down to the mat. "That headbutt must feel like getting hit in the head with a baseball bat!" "Where do you come up with these analogies?" "I scored a 1600 on my SAT’s in Superhero High School," remarks Comet. With Mike down on the mat, Davis shows off his arrogant skills that he must have picked up from his stable mates, as he places his boot over the throat of Mike and begins choking him AGAIN. "When was the last time Revolution Zero went a whole day without breaking some kind of rule or law?" asks Comet. "When was the last time the Oilers won the Stanley Cup?" "A LONG time ago." "Yeah, they didn’t break a law or rule the day before that." "I don’t think we should be talking about the Oilers like that. They do sponsor the SWF." "I guess we should keep our mouths shut or we might lose our jobs." Mr. Roboto tries to tell Davis to break the hold, but Davis doesn’t understand the Metallic language. He does understand the count though. ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FI- And Davis moves his boot off the throat of Van Siclen. He shrugs at the referee as Roboto chides him and points to his ear, as if he doesn't understand. Sean reaches down and grabs up Siclen by his head, lifting him to his feet. Davis forcefully whips Mike across the ring and into the ropes. Van Siclen ricochets back toward Davis, who swings for a big clothesline.. ..but Van Siclen ducks! Mike uses his momentum to gain speed upon bouncing off the opposite ropes and leaps into the air as Davis turns.. smacking his foe upside the head with a flying elbow! The blow causes Sean to stumble back, but not fall. Mike gets to his feet and then accelerates toward the ropes, gaining momentum once again to charge at Davis for another flying elbow! But Sean catches him midair! With a feral shout, Davis drops to the mat, squashing Mike between the mat and his shoulder! "Huge spinebuster from Sean Davis!" "Citizen Cortez must be pretty aggravated by now at his partner! Citizen Van Siclen has been the focus of Revolution Zero's energies for this entire championship bout!" exclaims Comet! "And Davis with the cover.. " ONE! TWO! TH- Mike shoves his shoulder off the mat! Davis pounds his fist against the mat in frustration at Mr. Roboto. He gets to his feet and heads over to tag in Spike. As he does, Mike rolls over onto his stomach and begins to painfully pull himself toward Cortez. Sean makes the tag and Spike enters the ring. As he saunters toward Mike, Jenkins gestures toward Cortez, practically begging him to save his partner. Todd begins beating on the turnbuckle in his corner, again getting the crowd clapping. Jenkins drops a knee across Mike's neck, and Van Siclen recoils with the pain, grabbing the back of his neck and howling in pain! Spike grabs Van Siclen by the hair and hauls him to his feet. Jenkins backs Siclen into the middle of the ring, then clamps on a reverse face lock. "Looks like a Clean Living for Mike Van Siclen.. " begins Riley. "No! Citizen Van Siclen turns in the face lock and goes for a suplex.. " Riley interrupts, "But can't lift Spike up! His neck must be killing him!" Mike strains to lift Spike up for a Northern lights suplex, but the pain in his neck is too much to bear. Jenkins shifts his center and manipulates Van Siclen's arm down into an arm bar! Spike then locks on his modified Crossface, with Van Siclen's arm behind his neck! "Border City Stretch!" Mike screams in pain and clenches his fist to resist. Todd claps his hands from his corner, rallying behind his partner. Spike pulls on Van Siclen and yells at him to give up! Mike refuses! Mr. Roboto checks on Van Siclen, but gets the same answer. Finally, unable to take any more, Todd jumps into the ring and lands a double axe handle over Spike's back! The hold is broken and Jenkins gets to his feet, enraged. Mr. Roboto does his job well, instructing Todd to get back to his corner. Spike grabs Mike by his hair and drags him back into the Rev0 corner. Jenkins tags in Davis and the monster enters the ring. Spike stays in the ring, lifting Mike up and whipping him across the ring. As Van Siclen returns, Spike drops to his stomach, forcing Mike to hurdle him and run right into a fierce football tackle from Davis! Spike rolls out of the ring as Davis hooks a leg for the cover. ONE! TWO! THR- Todd makes another save by elbow dropping Davis to the head!! "Another close call averted by Citizen Cortez! Tag him in, Citizen Van Siclen!" Comet instructs! Again, Mr. Roboto mechanizes his displeasure with one half of the Tag Team champions and puts him back into his place. Cortez reluctantly moves back into his corner and shouts encouragement to his partner. Davis gets to his feet and throws a nasty glare at Cortez, then refocuses on Van Siclen. Sean pulls Mike to his feet and whips him across the ring. Davis attempts a clothesline, but Mike just barely ducks under Sean's huge arm, hits the opposite ropes and leaps into the air, catching Davis with a spinning wheel kick! "What a huge counter by Citizen Van Siclen! Maybe he can finally get out of the ring!" Riley scoffs, "You should know better than that, Spandex Boy! Sean Davis is just as fresh as Cortez! And he's got a nicer BUTT, courtesy of Masked Man.. " Comet dryly responds, "No thanks to Sexual Maskosaurus. Speaking of which.. where is that zany Romanian?" The camera pans around the outside of the ring, where Mask has procured a cowboy hat and is waving it in the air, bucking around on his rubber chicken, as if it were a one ton bull in a rodeo! The fans are loving it! RAAAAAAAHH!! Focusing on the ring now, both Mike Van Siclen and Sean Davis begin to get to their feet. Davis is quicker to stand than the wounded Spectacle, but Mike still manages to stumble toward his corner and the reaching Todd Cortez. Sean reacts quickly, though, and lands a huge clothesline over Mike's back! Davis grabs Van Siclen by the ankle and pulls him back toward the middle of the ring, then moves to tag in Spike Jenkins. "Revolution Zero is doing a superb job of sequestering Mike Van Siclen from his partner, Todd Cortez," mentions Riley. "They are acting as a true tag team. This is a very different animal than what 42nd Street faced in their first match for the Tag Titles," adds Comet. Jenkins steps into the ring and pauses, waiting for Mike Van Siclen to get to his feet on his own accord. Mike unknowningly gets to his feet and steps right into a Spike Jenkins Yakuza kick!! NO! Van Siclen ducks Spike's leg! RAAAAAAAAHH!! "Another near hit for Citizen Van Siclen! He's got to be looking for an out!" cries Comet! Jenkins takes the miss in stride and charges to the ropes, rebounding toward Van Siclen, who holds his neck in pain.. this time connecting with a Yakuza kick! Mike goes down hard onto his upper back, and Jenkins is right on top of Van Siclen for the cover. ONE! TWO! THRE- Todd makes the save!! "Citizen Cortez lands a dropkick to Citizen Jenkins's head!" Spike rolls off of Mike, holding his head and kicking his legs in pain and anger. He shakes the pain off and gets to his feet, immediately shouting at Mr. Roboto to get Todd Cortez under control! Toxxic even leans on the ring apron, shouting at the ref to get it together. Roboto focuses on Cortez, explaining to him that.. well something. Cortez doesn't understand him either. Jenkins drops back down to his knees, and plainly chokes Van Siclen with his bare hands! BOOOOOOOOOO!! SPIKE SUCKS! DA-VIS SUCKS! TOX-XIC SUCKS! Cortez notices the blatant choke and shouts at Mr. Roboto to take action, but the ref focuses on getting Todd back to his corner. Van Siclen struggles against the hold, clawing at Spike's arm, but to no avail. Finally, Cortez sees that his actions are in vain, and steps outside the ring. A shout from Davis warns Spike and he releases the hold as Mr. Roboto turns around. Van Siclen grabs his throat, coughing and gasping for air. Jenkins gets to his feet and throws his arms up to the booing crowd. He pulls off one of his elbow pads and signals for a shotei. "Oh, no he didn't!" says Riley! "I think he did, Bobbo." "Spike Jenkins, that son of a.. he's going to steal Tom Flesher's shotei!" "Citizen Flesher isn't the only superstar to have a shotei.. " As Mike gets to his feet, attempting to regain his senses, Jenkins charges out of the corner, set up to hit Mike with a running shotei. At the last second, Mike ducks under Jenkin's arm! As Spike turns, Mike throws his boot up into Jenkins's gut, doubling him over. Van Siclen grabs Spike into a DDT position, then drops down, slamming Jenkins's face to the mat! "Code Red by Citizen Van Siclen! Both men are down!" Mr. Roboto checks on both men, then begins counting them. ONE! Toxxic starts pounding on the ring apron, trying to rouse Jenkins. TWO! Cortez claps from the Hollywood Boulevard corner, getting the crowd behind him. THREE! Maskosaurus does the Chicken Dance, also wowing the crowd. FOUR! Spike stirs first, rolling over to his stomach.. FIVE! He begins crawling toward the Revolution Zero corner. SIX! Mike Van Siclen twitches and begins to move! SEVEN! The Spectacle sits up and blinks his eyes, looking for his partner. EIGHT! Jenkins reaches toward Davis.. they're just inches apart! NINE! Mike gets to his knees and crawls toward his corner.. just as Jenkins makes the tag!! Davis jumps into the ring and Mike lunges forward, tagging in Cortez!! RRAAAAAAAAAHHH!!! "This Oklahoma City crowd is absolutely on their feet behind Citizen Cortez as he charges into the ring!" exclaims Comet! The two fresh wrestlers clash in the middle of the ring, landing blow upon blow over each other's head. Left! Right! Left! Right! Right! Right! Todd takes a speed advantage over Davis and knocks him off kilter. Before Davis can recover, Todd runs back against the ropes, rebounds off and flies at Davis, jumping and landing a flying elbow on the Perfect Storm! As Sean stumbles back from the blow, Todd regains his footing and is met by Spike Jenkins! Spike throws a punch, but Todd ducks and retaliates with a hard right! Cortez grabs Jenkins by the wrist and whips him into the ropes. Spike ricochets and heads back toward Todd, only to be grabbed in a headscissors and given a one way ticket to the mat!! "Hurricanrana by Citizen Cortez! Citizen Jenkins got served!" rants Comet! Indeed he is, and as Todd gets to his feet, he turns to face Davis, and gets knocked back with a blow to the head! Sean grabs Cortez and whips him across the ring. Todd jumps at the last moment, springboarding onto the second rope and twisting over and onto Sean Davis! Cortez jumps back to his feet, screaming with the adrenaline rush! He turns to face Jenkins and ducks a punch from the aspiring Cruiserweight champ. Todd spins Jenkins around by the shoulder, then grabs him up in a over-the-back neckbreaker! "Cereal Killer by Citizen Cortez! He's cleaning house!" Todd gets back to his feet, turning toward Davis. Sean makes his way to his feet, holding his chest. Cortez leaps toward Davis, planting his foot under Sean's chin! Superkick! Davis falls back to the mat, now holding his neck! "Both Revolution Zero members are down! Citizen Van Siclen is beginning to stir in the Hollywood Boulevard corner! The tables are turning, Robert!" Comet exclaims! RAAAAAAAAAH!! The crowd cheers Hollywood Boulevard on as Mike gets to his feet. Todd pumps a fist into the air, and then signals the crowd that the Varsity Blues is coming!! Mr. Roboto can only stay back and try to make heads or tails of things as Todd heads to the corner, setting up. Jenkins stumbles to his feet, shaking his head. Spike faces Mike, gets a kick square in the gut, and then is hit with a sitout jawbreaker! Todd heads toward HSJ for the Varsity Blues finishing superkick, but is sideswiped by Sean Davis! Todd falls back to the mat, joining Spike on his back. Van Siclen stands from his jawbreaker and turns toward Davis, receiving a boot to the stomach! Sean drops a clubbing forearm over Mike's back, then grabs his wrist and whips him across the ring. Mike rebounds and hurdles toward Davis, sliding underneath his legs! Mike gets to his feet quickly, considering his neck pain, and catches Sean Davis as he turns with a huge belly to back piledriver! Or tries to.. "Van Slaminator.. NO!" cries a dismayed Comet! "Can Siclen can't lift Davis!" "His neck is too weak!" Davis turns the hold and grabs Mike up into a Canadian backbreaker. "And now the Perfect Spike!" squeals Riley excitedly! Spike hops toward Van Siclen for the Yakuza kick, but Todd charges into view, clotheslining Jenkins to the mat! RAAAAAAAHH!! Van Siclen worms out of the backbreaker and slides out of Davis's grip. Sean turns around and right into a big Van Siclen forearm. Mike clubs Davis again, then is joined by Todd in Irish whipping Sean Davis into the ropes. Davis rebounds toward Hollywood Boulevard, and is lifted into the air for a double flapjack from the Tag Team champions! Todd and Mike get to their feet, slapping hands in congrats. They both notice Spike getting to his feet again, and Todd motions for Mike to pick up Jenkins in an Electric chair! Van Siclen obliges as Spike stumbles right into him, but Mike grimaces as his neck begins to throb again from the pain. Still, Jenkins gets raised up into the Electric chair, and Todd charges against the ropes. As he bounces off, Toxxic grabs his ankle, tripping up the Urban Legend! Todd turns around and furiously berates the former World champion! The crowd begins to cheer as Masked Man storms into the picture, broadsiding Toxxic with a big clothesline!! "That nefarious Citizen Toxxic just cost Hollywood Boulevard a chance at retaining their title!" Toxxic and Masked Man begin exchanging blows on the outside. In the ring, Sean Davis gets to his feet and charges at Todd, clotheslining him over the top rope, and falling to the outside himself!! They get to their feet and also begin brawling! Mr. Roboto is at the ropes, trying to sort things out. The beautiful black haired Jet slides secretly into the ring, and as Mike Van Siclen turns, Spike still on his shoulders.. .. Jet thrusts her forearm between Mike's legs!! "LOW BLOW! Mr. Roboto! Pay attention, man!" Mike drops to his knees, and Spike also tumbles to the mat. With his tumble, though, Jenkins rolls up Van Siclen, applying all his weight onto Mike's injured neck!! As if Mr. Roboto heard Comet's plea, the referee turns around and notes the pin. He slides to the mat and begins to count! ONE! TWO! "Is Citizen Van Siclen even the legal man?!" asks a bewildered Comet! THREE!!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! DING! DING! DING!! "Battle Ready" by Otep kicks up over the speakers as Spike rolls out of the ring. Masked Man and Todd slide into the ring, shocked looks on their faces. From the timekeeper's table, Jet steals the Tag Team belts and hands one to Spike. They head around the ring to meet Toxxic, Sean and Marcus as they move up the ramp. Jenkins hands over one of the tag team belts and they raise them up in victory! "And the winner of this match, and new SWF Tag Team Champions! Revolution Zero!!" The camera focuses on Todd, Mike and Masked Man in the ring, all looking very jaded. The commentators voice over. "What a devious ploy by Revolution Zero! They didn't win those Tag Titles! They stole them!" exclaims Comet! "The referee counted the pinfall! One, two, three! Rev0 has finally done it! Look at them gloat!" Fade out.
Guest Horse hockey! Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Any comments on ^^ would be appreciated. I've heard commentary was dry, and as I think about it, I personally overuse 'Citizen' in Comet's commentary. Does anyone agree? What else?

King Cucaracha 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Any comments on ^^ would be appreciated. I've heard commentary was dry, and as I think about it, I personally overuse 'Citizen' in Comet's commentary. Does anyone agree? What else? It's not physically possible to overuse 'Citizen' for Comet. Seriously. It's like Lawler and 'puppies' or JR and 'hoss'. From the quick read I took, it looks a very solid match. Follows the face in peril law of wrestling well, even if that face is perrenial heel Mike Van Siclen...but that is no detriment to the match, as Mike is enough of a face now. Personally I'd have gone with Cortez in peril, but that's just me. Toxxic and TMM's battle was to be expected. To be honest, the only thing that bothered me was Mr Roboto. If it had been your regular tag team match, lower down the card, then I'd commend you guys for it because it was pretty humorous. But for a Tag Team Title match, in which your match would have switched the titles...eh, maybe it's me, but that was a problem. Besides that a very good effort and it still amuses me as to how far you've come Spike since I've been around, despite the fact you've been around for years longer than me. Max. I don't want to sound soppy, cliched, off topic or whatever...but you really do have a future. Seriously. A very impressive showing that you can be pleased with, certainly. I liked King coming out in gold...that was a small, nic touch. Oh, and of course, I'm glad you had Riley souring towards me as that was pretty important. Obviously our matches had similar dynamics, or at least the things we discussed. Wasn't sure how big of a part you wanted Manson to play, but you do well to keep the Manson/King feud in the spotlight. In ring wise, you've certainly got a good understanding. To be critical, as I'm sure you want...maybe, just maybe, the outside distractions were a bit too prominent. At times, it seemed Kelly interfered slightly more than your stats would indicate. Then it got a bit chaotic towards the end. And the ending was kind of too 'out of nowhere' for my liking, as it seemed like Maddix got pinned after hitting a dropkick where perhaps more emphasis on a cradled pin might have helped. And also, you didn't focus on Maddix's knee leading off Cortez's match, which may have been a factor. Besides those nitpicks though, that was a very good match. It had enough of Maddix's pace and it seemed to flow well. The action was exciting, you got everything in that I asked you to in terms of my storyline and you continued yours...and you show a lot of potential. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2004 Yeah...I admit about the ending. But that was mostly to my computer f-ing up on me and not my writing. Had that not happened, I probably would have gotten a better ending.

I went with Mr. Roboto as a joke with Max King. It might stick out, but we also had Thoth marking us. So I tried to go with something silly and see how it went. And when I was planning the match, I decided to have Mike as the face-in-peril. I figued it would work since he is fresh off a "turn" of some sorts, and last time Rev-0/HB were in the ring together, Todd was a beast and kicked all kinds of ass. Plus, Rev-0 attacked Todd the show before, so Todd had some meassure of revenge for getting back into the ring.
