Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/4948462.html He'll be back by WM XXI... I hope. Come back, Brock... all is forgiven.
Mole Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Eh, I don't really want him back anytime soon.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 With Vince's record of taking back workers that crapped all over him I wouldn't doubt him to be back by SurSer honestly.
Guest Nanks Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Isn't there some kind of gridiron minor league for Brock to go play in now to learn the game and have another crack next year?? Seems to me that would be what someone whose dream it was to play NFL would do. If he just throws in the towel now then I'll lose all respect for him.
Lightning Flik Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 That Gridiron Minor League would be the CFL. And I know quite a few teams that would probably sign him up. Even if he isn't as good as a 6 year vet, he still would be signed to a hell of a lot less money and could turn out quite good.
Guest GreatOne Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 There's: CFL: whose past midseason Arena League: yyyyyyyyyyyyyyeah Had this been four years ago: the XFL And the longshot is NFL Europe, which would seem even more ass-backwards for somebody who bitched about the WWE's travel schedule and wanted to be closer to home.
Lightning Flik Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 He'll probably go to the CFL and most likely a Eastern team if he is really concerned about the travel (since the East teams don't move all that much).
Guest Rrrsh Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 As a BC Lions fan and someone who covers the Team as a aprt of the media, I hope he comes here. He would be a fun interview.
Mole Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 As a BC Lions fan and someone who covers the Team as a aprt of the media, I hope he comes here. He would be a fun interview. "Bah, I hate fags."
Bruiser Chong Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Zsasz, Brock quite clearly doesn't like the wrestling business. Money talks and people don't always mean what they say, but he's had nothing but unflattering things to say about the business since he left. Even if he flops here, I don't see him coming back anytime soon.
Vern Gagne Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 NFL Europe is the likely spot for Brock if he chooses to continue his pro career. One thing i don't get is why Tice has Lesnar at DT and not DE. With his quickness, and strength. Have Lesnar drop 20 lbs, spend a season in Europe, and the offseason learning proper rushing techniques and Lesnaer could become a decent pass rush specialist.
Guest Evolution Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 I'd love to see Brock in the AFL.
Guest Nanks Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 I hope you don't mean the Australian Football League....
Guest Staravenger Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Maybe he means the Amish Football League
Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Brock would probably get signed to try out in the CFL. He would also likely flop just as bad, or worse. Correct me if I'm wrong, but one of Brocks main problems in football is his mobility right? in the CFL, you need to move faster over a larger field, particularly if you're chasing a play to the sideline. One good thing that would work in Brock's favour is that the players in CFL are generally smaller and faster on average due to the requirements of playing the different field type. Another thing is in the CFL, it's far more pass based and Brock didn't do to well as a pass rusher on the line did he? Meh, the Argonauts would probably bring him in since they signed Rison.
Guest Evolution Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Arena Football League. Sorry, should've been more descriptive.
LaParkaMarka Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 I thought Brock's big asset was his mobility. He's fast for a big guy. I also wondered why they tried to bring him in as a DT. Maybe a DE or even an OLB pass rush specialist. If he gets cut by the Vikes, the Colts might sign him to their practice squad...Dungy was a big fan of Brock out of college.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 He is fast for a big man, but he's not as fast, and not as big as the breakneck 300 pounders he'd be dealing with every week. This doesn't surprise me much. I wouldn't mind seeing the guy tear the Arena League a new asshole, though. He's probably big and strong enough to dominate that.
Guest El Satanico Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 Brock is just as fast as those other 300 pounders...he ran a 4.75 40. Brock will go to NFL Europe if he decides to continue his NFL quest. It's the NFL's minor league and will get him noticed by NFL teams more.
reign Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 AWWW...Can't you see!!! It's all I work!!! Vince sent Brock to the NFL to kill it...just like he sent Hall and Nash to WCW....he DOES NOT WANT COMPETITION on Monday nights damnit!!! The NFL will only survive five more years if it accepts Brock into it's ranks...
Slayer Posted August 27, 2004 Report Posted August 27, 2004 I think Brock knows that if he tried to go back to the WWF that Vince would make Brock toss his salad in the middle of the ring
