Guest Donners Report post Posted August 29, 2004 From The Offices of NWA Florida August 27, 2004 We are very pleased to announce the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Jerelle Clark, and Mikey Batts have both signed contracts with NWA TNA. Both NWA Florida superstars have been working very hard since the first TNA Impact taping at Universal Studios back in June, both Batts and Clark were also recent combatants in the Gauntlet for the Gold X Title match in Nashville that saw Petey Williams emerge victorious. Two weeks ago on TNA Impact Clark and Batts scored a non-title win over NWA World Tag Team Champions The Naturals. I know I speak for the roster and office of NWA Florida when I say how proud I am of these 2 guys as they have really worked hard to earn this spot and I am sure they will continue to work hard and move their way up the ladder in NWA TNA! No surprises there - that one's been rumoured for a while. TNA has signed former WWE producer David Sahadi. Sahadi was considered to be one of WWE's top production talents. Sahadi produced WWE's PPV commercials and many of the promo videos that WWE uses. He also produced WWE's first Super Bowl commercial. Sahadi will now begin work on videos and promotional footage for TNA's upcoming PPV, Victory Road. That could be quite important if he's particularly good at what he does. Things like the quality of video packages could have a big impression on casual fans who get the PPV. TNA Entertainment, LLC., announced today Liquid Blue will become the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling exclusive T-shirt licensee for adult male sizes. “They represent the most successful sports and entertainment properties in the world”, said Dixie Carter, President TNA Entertainment. “We are looking forward to joining their elite roster and creating exciting merchandise that our fans will love” Liquid Blue will announce their partnership with TNA as their exclusive T-shirt licensee for adult male sizes to the retail world at the Magic Apparel Show in Las Vegas with the unveiling of first series of officially licensed TNA Wrestling T-shirts. NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett and TNA Superstar Konnan will be at the Liquid Blue booth #23631 South Hall, 1st floor on Monday, August 30th from 8AM to 6PM and on Tuesday, August 31st from 8AM to Noon and available for autographs and photo opportunities August 30 & 31 at the Magic show. Liquid Blue is a Rhode Island based company that currently has licensing agreements with the NFL, Major League Baseball, NHL, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Greatful Dead, The Simpsons, Sesame Street, Jack Daniels and many more. Astro101 0 Report post Posted August 29, 2004 Victory Road still sucks as a name. It doesn't roll off your tongue right.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted August 29, 2004 Victory Road still sucks as a name. It doesn't roll off your tongue right. Better than the original "Fluff Jarrett Night" title. -=Mike
Guest Fiscusalicious Report post Posted August 29, 2004 ALWAYS a good thing to sign anyone who had to do with WWE's production quality. Their presentation is the standard for pro wrestling. Hopefully that'll turn out well.

Guest Staravenger Report post Posted August 29, 2004 What was the original PPV name suppose to be (headlined by Jarrett/Hogan...ha!) Bound for Glory? I think both that and Victory Road are pretty bad.

Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted August 29, 2004 Whats so bad about Victory Road? It kinda has this puro vibe to it, and besides, there's far worse and unoriginal names than Victory Road.

I think your wrong here. It doesn't give off a puro vibe....because then it would just be randomly placed english language: example - NWATNA presents Voyage Resolution 2004
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2004 Thank God they signed someone with production talent. At least now the videos won't look like high school projects.
Guest The Last Free Voice Report post Posted August 30, 2004 Yea, their video's have been awful up to this point. But can one guy make that big of difference? I have no clue how all that kinda shit works, so I really dont know.
TheBigSwigg 0 Report post Posted August 30, 2004 Yes, one man can. He can have more experience on editing equipment and programs, and have the knowledge of what makes a video better. Also, guys with limited experience (Like those in TNA seem to be) are happy with what they can do at that moment, not what's possible. They look less at the capabilities of what they work with, but what they can do themselves. Or at least that's what I've experienced in my few years of working with A/V equipment.
