King Kamala Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Bob Dylan- Jokerman I've got buy Infidels soon, I'm too much of a Dylan and Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler fan to not have it in my collection even if it is a bit uneven. Plus Sly and Robbie!

Gary Floyd Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 The Velvet Underground-"Here She Comes Now"
Guest Gym Class Fallout Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Neil Young - Powderfinger This is probably one of my favorite Neil Young songs ever. I just love the vocalizations in the background. I'm by no means a Neil Young completist. To what extent should I pursue post-Rust stuff? I've always just figured that it's best to cut it off right there and not get burned by any subpar 80s output. I know he had a few stinkers in there, so I just limit myself to the five that are all-time classics and On the Beach.
King Kamala Posted October 15, 2007 Report Posted October 15, 2007 Fountains of Wayne- Strapped For Cash Probably my favorite song off their last album. Not sure what I think of their country influenced stuff but I like I-95.
snuffbox Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Czech, For post Rust Neil, see my recent 'since 1990' post in the top5 thread. Add 'Freedom' (1989) to that. The 80s were pretty scattered at best for Neil Young. There have also been a few good live recordings released over the last decade and a half.
