RAW, sometime in 2001.

 

Undertaker has just been involved in a tag-team match against Test and some cronies, and in the post-match clusterfuck he picks up Test to deliver the Last Ride. HOWEVER... he can't lift Test above shoulder level. Taker slowly staggers back toward the edge of the ring, with Test slumped against his face, and the two of them sag against ropes, almost tumbling over the top. This lasts about five seconds. Finally, Taker musters the strength to stand up straight and give Test a regular, non-Last Ride powerbomb.

 

This is more pathetic than funny, but since I hate the Undertaker I couldn't stop laughing when it happened.

Super J Cup 94 Liger vs Sasuke at the very end. Sasuke goes for a move on the ropes and slips and falls. Liger tilts his head clapping and laughing, then Sasuke gets up and Just Rana's him for the pin.

At Bash at the Beach 94, Dustin Rhodes is in the ring the whole match against Funk & Buck, then finally tags out to Arn, at which point the camera CUTS AWAY and MISSES Arn turning on Dustin with a DDT.

Rey does a move from inside the ring to psycosis on the outside.

Well psycosis doesn't catch Rey very well and he ends up hitting the guard rail mostly.

Once their on the ground an angered Rey kicks the shit out of Psycosis in the head and he falls over to the side selling it upon which Rey takes it upon himself and throws in another kick to Psycosis's crotch area.

It seems like he woulda been fine with the first kick as payback but the second one pushed Psycosis over the edge and they basically just start kicking the shit out of each other while laying on the floor.

 

Hilarious stuff that me and some friends had to rewind over and over again.

The crowd eats it up too starting an ECW chant for the moment alone.

Randy Orton is strung up in the tree of woe, and Rock just walks over and, with the ref watching, gives Orton the most blatant nut shot I have ever seen. The crowd just lets out this horrible groan like they had all been kicked down low as well, and JR is speechless for a second or two.

That was hilarious. And Rock acted like he did nothing wrong.

I don't really know if this counts, but Undertaker's reaction after winning the Hardcore title from RVD at Vengeance '01 is a favourite of mine. He looks totally stunned, like RVD just confessed his love to him or something.

Eugene's office reminded me of another moment during that Raw:

 

It was musical chairs and Jericho and Tomko was the final two. The INTENSE~! staredown had me cracking up so badly, especially since (1) it was freaking musical chairs and (2) Jericho was cracking slightly and you could tell he was trying so hard not to laugh. Of course, how Jericho won was pretty funny too.

Not sure if many people have seen this one, but on Trish Stratus' DVD "Stratusfaction Guaranteed", there's a part during the main program where Steve Austin and Trish are goofing around backstage, eventually swearing just for fun, when at one point, Ric Flair (in wrestling gear) walks behind them, not knowing at all what was going on. I have no idea if Flair doing that was intentional or not, but it was funny. Made my girlfriend (who's a non-fan) laugh too.

Flair looks stoned in that segment. In that same segment, Linda McMahon is about to walk through the curtain behind Trish and Austin while talking on the phone until she sees the cameras, and after spotting them, she quickly closes the curtain and turns back. It looked daft and just made it all the more obvious.

 

 

Another funny one I've just remembered is at Backlash 2001 (and it hasn't been edited out!!) in the Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit match. Benoit slams Kurt's head into the turnbuckle post and Kurt stumbles backwards, only to bang his head on the camera. It's hilarious, gets a laugh out of me every time.

 

EDIT: another one I've just remembered. Rebellion ... ummm 1996 or 1997, I can't remember which, Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog for Bulldog's European title. Shawn cheated at the end to win and Triple H sort of carried Shawn down the ramp after the match, and just as Shawn lifts himself up to celebrate and hold the belt up, BAM!! Gets hit in the neck by a plastic bottle. It was just perfectly timed and couldn't have been done any better if they'd tried

I remember Rhyno hosted an episode of Sunday Night Heat in 2001 and while he was doing an interview with Michael Cole and Tazz, some guy from the audience screamed out "GOLDBERG!" and Rhyno looked at the crowd with a funny look on his face for a second and went back to doing the interview. I always thought that was pretty funny.

I was watching the 2004 Rumble again today. When Goldberg comes in, he's obviously supposed to spear everyone and kick ass until Lesnar interferes. Billy Gunn goes out of his way to let Goldberg spear him right as he enters, but Big Show is there and Goldberg spears him instead. So Billy does this awkward "stagger right into a spear" thing that is pretty damn funny if you see it. It's much like how he staggers into a kick from Owen Hart at WWF Mind Games in 1996. Anyways, if you watch the 2004 Rumble again, keep an eye out for that little spot.

Nothing tops the crowds WCW would get at the height of the nWo. People would just freaking NAIL everyone with beer and crap until the whole ring and everyone in it would be drenched. I remember seeing Hall get nailed square in the back of the head by a full cup of what appeared to be pop (looked like there was ice in the cup) and it just exploded on the back of his head. The funny part was Hall completely no sold it, smoothed his hair out, and kept going.

I was just watching WW3 from '97, and during the entrances Harlem Heat and the Steiners come out right after each other. When Booker goes past the camera, you then see Rick and Dibiase, and behind them you can see Scott toss a wad of gum at Booker's head.

I was watching the RAW from 2002 the other day where Hulk Hogan stalls the motorcycle. Hilarious. During his world title reign to boot.

 

For anyone who's forgotten, Hogan calls Undertaker a "bitch" and motions that he's about to run him down. After the motorcycle stalls (while the crowd is laughing en masse), the camera immediately pans to JR and King who are scrambling for anything at all to say ("I'm not so sure Hogan isn't taunting the Undertaker........ ") as we hear Hogan revving in vain in the background. If it happened to any wrestler other than Hogan, I doubt they'd ever live it down.

It involved words but it's a mystery what they were, Rick Rude is on commentary at Wrestlpalooza 97, during the Dreamer/Raven match- Chastity and Beulah get into a cat fight and Rude says outs of nowhere, 'Hey Styles wouldn't it be funny if they BLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP', with like a 30 second censor for whatever it was he's saying. Just hilarious!

Speaking of blatant nutshots, check out the Booker T/Scott Steiner US Title match at Spring Stampede '99. Steiner is beating on Book, then casually bounces off the ropes and delivers a kick to Booker's crotch, RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE REF. Steiner, then proceeds to give the ref a "What the fuck are you going to do about it?" look, before heading to the turnbuckle to flex for the crowd. That sequence became legendary among my friends.

On a Smackdown in March 2002, during the aftermatch of the Rock / Scott Hall main event, Rock was clearing house by punching Hogan and Nash out. Well Nash was supposed to sell Rock's punch and fall over the top rope, but he completely botches it and sorta falls back into the ring. So instead of falling through the ropes, he sells AIR and launches himself over the top rope, it was absolutely hilarious to see.

One of the biggest laughs I've EVER gotten out of wrestling was when Hogan was hogtied to the Undertakers bike on a Raw back in 2002. Just seeing this visual was hilarious (Hogan had this look on his face like he was shitting himself) and then it seemed like Taker drove in the backstage with him like that endlessly until he threw him into a bunch of boxes - it looks SO weak and that made the whole thing even funnier.

Oh, a really good blantant nut shot is during a match between RVD and Steiner on a random Raw. Steiner grabbed the ref and was suppose to kick back Rob and nutshot him. So what does he do? COMPLETELY MISS! So now Rob can't sell nothing, so he doesn't. What does Stiener do? Turn around, pissed off, and just punts the fuck out of poor Rob's nuts with the referee looking directly at the kick! Can we say blue balls?

 

I guess kicking RVD in the nuts is a habit in WWE, because when he moved to Smackdown and the Dudleys turned heel by beating him up, D-Von (I think) just wound up and kicked as hard as he could. I fell bad for Rob's nuts and his wife.

Yea that was weird, torrie goes into living room, kidman looks pissed as hes trying to play madden with his friend (dont know who other guy was) and he looks as if he doesnt want the cameras there torrie goes to leave and I guess hits tv with her body or soemthign cuz it like turns off or somethin and you can saee billy look visibly angry

 

her cat was named cali cuz they foudn her backstage at a show in california. why is there a stray cat in the wwe locker room?

This is my favorite Scott Steiner match because he acts totally unstable, berating the front-row fans for a good 3 minutes before he even gets in the ring. He literally goes down the line, getting this woman to touch his muscles (while bitching out her boyfriend):

You can totally hear Tony get a little nervous as Scott gets more and more agitated, especially when Scott swings at some fans. Then, when the match finally starts, Scott loses a lockup or something and gets slammed, then IMMEDIATELY goes outside and resumes bitching out some loudmouth fans.
