Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Six-way starts now. Fuck TNA, as they're only using Delirious in terms of the "IWA regulars" (unless Petey counts).

cmpunk04 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 who is Delirious with then? EDIT. I just got the list. Why the hell do TNA always have to have Shark Boy and damn D Ray 300 in these things! No luchadors either or Sydal
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Delirious & Dutt vs. Frankie & Shane vs. Devine & Petey vs. Batts & Clark vs. D-Ray & Shark Boy vs. Sabin & Red It's down to Batts & Clark (ugh) vs. Kazarian & Shane. It was done under battle royal rules, with the last two remaining bringing their partners back for a regular tag. AMW won't get their tag title shot tonight due to James Storm's back injury.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Do the winners of that match get a tag title shot or is it a "just for the hell of it" thing?
cmpunk04 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 TNA always have to do these things battle royal style. It would have been much better if it was winner stays on style. Was Delirious any good?
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Delirious was out in twenty seconds. Batts and Clark got the win. UGH.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Delirious was out in twenty seconds. Batts and Clark got the win. UGH. What the hell was the point of bringing him in then?
Guest mynameisdane Report post Posted September 9, 2004 match was pretty good Batts and Clark won. Batts also fucked up very badly in one spot and instead of doing a springboard splash.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I thought it wasn't that good, but that's prolly just me. Mixed gender worthlessness next.
cmpunk04 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 oh what the fuck?!? Delirious just got treated like a jobber and here was me thinking TNA may be giving him a chance. Instead they have D Ray freaking 3000 last longer than him. I guess I didnt remember that this is TNA.
JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 TNA PPV REPORT SEPTEMBER 8, 2004 LIVE FROM NASHVILLE, TENN. The final TNA Wednesday night PPV is here. For commentaries previewing this show, check out The Lounge area (see left menu bar for the link) as there were several articles this week looking at the end of this weekly TNA tradition after about 26 months. I can't say this feels like the final Nitro, but it does feel like the end of something. -After four minutes of angle recaps, they went to a different camera angle to open the show than usual as Mike Tenay introduced the show. Then they went to Jeremy Borash in the ring for intros for the opener. 1 -- JOHNNY DEVINE & PETEY WILLIAMS vs. SHARK BOY & D-RAY 3000 vs. DELIRIOUS & SONJAY DUTT vs. MICHAEL SHANE & FRANKIE KAZARIAN vs. MIKEY BATTS & JERELLE CLARK vs. AMAZING RED & CHRIS SABIN The first round of this tag team elimination match is scheduled to be fought battle royal style until only two wrestlers are left. In the opening seconds, Sabin was almost eliminated, but instead he head scissored Williams out of the ring. If one wrestler from a team was eliminated, it didn't mean the entire team was eliminated as is typical for tag team battle royals. Delirious was elimintaed next at 1:30. D-Ray was eliminated when he leaped over the top rope to the ring apron, then got knocked to the floor. Kazarian eliminated Sabin at 2:30. Shane eliminated Batts at 3:00. Kazarian and Shane eliminated Shark Boy at 4:00. Shane was eliminated at 4:45. Red was eliminated at 5:30. Kazarian and Devine eliminated Dutt, then Kazarian eliminated Devine. That meant the final two were Kazarian and Batts. WINNERS: Kazarian and Batts at 7:30. STAR RATING: * -- Okay action, but basically just one elimination after another without any strategy or storyline to sink your teeth into. It felt rushed. 2 -- MIKEY BATTS & JERELLE CLARK vs. FRANKIE KAZARIAN & MICHAEL SHANE Tenay said that because James Storm hadn't been cleared to wrestle yet by doctors, The Naturals would face Christopher Daniels & Primetime for the NWA Tag Team Titles. Clark missed his 630 splash, but then Batts schoolboyed Shane from behind for a quick three count win. WINNERS: Batts & Clark at 4:36. STAR RATING: * -Scott Hudson interviewed Christopher Daniels & Primetime backstage. Hudson reiterrated that Storm wasn't cleared to wrestle. Primetime said tonight would be their night and their opponents would need more than their A-game. Daniels said "Triple X has always been two men with like minds." Actually, Triple X was originally three men. The Naturals then attacked Daniels and Primetime with powder and chairs. Tenay said the Naturals went "way too far this time." Good promo. I think that was the longest promo Daniels has done in TNA not counting the vignettes about the "Fallen Angel" gimmick which never went anywhere.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Abyss finally turned, giving Goldylocks a backbreaker and letting Desire pin her.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Styles/Kash now.
Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Styles won after he ducked a punch from Dallas, which connected with Kash and left him open for a 2nd rope Styles Clash through a table. Post-match, Team Canada mugged AJ in the ring, including Petey giving AJ the Canadian Destroyer.
cmpunk04 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 I guess the AJ vs Petey feud will happen then. That also pretty much rules AJ out of turning on Hardy later on. Im calling a Russo SWERVE!
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Hmmmm...so, Slapnuts!, tell us why, again, we should have ordered this show? Because it's the last one? A stacked card? Oh, sorry, I forgot that "stacked card" in TNA meant "absolute shyte with some promising matches that'll get fucked up." If the Styles/Kash feud is over, then it was a terrible feud. I understand they couldn't have had matches because Kash was legitimately injured, but the fact that Kash just attacked Styles, and then was gone forever, and then came back and had two singles matches with him over the course of a month and a half...no. Sorry. That's wasting both men, as Kash is the single most over heel in the company, and Styles is one of the most over faces and also one of the best talents. And, worse yet, the finish to the feud (assuming it is finished, of course) is a match where Kash loses because his tag partner fucked up. ...sorry. Unless I hear reports of Impact being amazing, I'm absolutely giving up on TNA. And it won't be that hard, considering I haven't ordered a PPV since April, and haven't watched Impact in a month. Phoenix Fury Legdrop 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Dusty Rhodes d. Scott D'Amore. Post-match, Team Canada jumps Dusty after he offers a handshake to Russo, and Russo tries to save Dusty. Three Live Krew end up saving everyone. Naturals vs. Mystery Team later on, since Daniels was "injured" backstage by the Naturals.

LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Batts cuts the most intense promos on earth. They really need to give him a mic, but knowing TNA they would have to manufacture a new one that doesn't say "Jarrett" on it. Dusty/D'Amore, though? Yuck. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 So you'll stop posting in here then? No, because many topics can still be debated without having watched the most recent TNA programming. Since most topics here deal with TNA over three months ago, and issues I can plainly learn via newsletters and other posters, I can still debate. So, basically, while you waste an hour a week on a show that will feature squash matches and bad angle development, I'll be working so I can get money to buy tapes of good promotions. Guest Donners Report post Posted September 9, 2004 So you'll stop posting in here then? No, because many topics can still be debated without having watched the most recent TNA programming. Since most topics here deal with TNA over three months ago, and issues I can plainly learn via newsletters and other posters, I can still debate. Can you understand, though, that something like, "I'm glad I stopped ordering this," in every bloody PPV thread can get a little annoying after a while? Now you're saying you are, "absolutely giving up on TNA". That does not lend itself to "debate" if you continue posting. It lends itself to constant bashing, which is a very one-sided conversation unless suckers like myself try to respond. Now, if you have truly absolutely given up on the company, then any posts you make about its current state seem really pointless. Number one you've already got a negative bias. Number two, you have no real reason to care about it. If you don't care about the company, what possible reason is there to take notice of what you have to say about it? So, basically, while you waste an hour a week on a show that will feature squash matches and bad angle development, I'll be working so I can get money to buy tapes of good promotions. So go and talk about them. I'm happy with TNA, and find little interest in other promotions. That's why I don't go to their forums and bitch about them, and that's why I talk about TNA here. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted September 9, 2004 Harris > Storm. Explain how. The only reason Harris has had better singles matches in TNA is because Harris has had more singles matches in TNA, and against better opponents. He can't sell past a move, can't time his comebacks properly, has no discernable charisma, and if it weren't for his look, he wouldn't even be in TNA.
