Nadar might hurt your chances?

Recommended Posts

If Bush hasn't fucked up enough to put Kerry in office by now, with or without Nader, well I'll be shocked.

There was a time when I felt Bush would defacto win, but that was years ago. He has done nothing effective or postive since then.

If I'm wrong, well, then we'll get another four years. And just remember what happened less than a year after Bush was elected. Nothing but bad press. 9/11 ended that, and the Iraq war proper was also good for him. But I can't imagine what his approval ratings would be after another two years.

I'm all for 3rd parties, and I'll most likely vote Green this term, but I also support Nader. To me, if Kerry's oratory or policy isn't up to beating Bush and Cobb and Nader and whomever else is running, then well, so be it.

I do not want another term of Bush. But if Kerry wants the Green/Indy votes, either run those policies. Don't try and force people to vote for something they don't agree with.

I'll be the first to admit that I pay only casual interest in this election, and while both sides really haven't offered anything relevent (Accusations of who did what 30 years ago is not relevent) I have to say Bush is going to win, if only because Kerry has not given any one any reason to vote for him.

For God's sake, vote Green, not Nader.

well half the green party supports Nader, buddy. The other half fall under the "don't run, you might make Bush win" category. It isn't like the Green Party up and turned their backs on Nader, it was just a split amongst the ranks.

And about Nader getting on TV and speaking, to get his message out, well it WOULD be accurate, but lets see, last time I saw him on hardball almost the entire segment was spend with Chris Matthews telling Nader he wasn't mature and accomplished enough because he didn't have kids.... The onle "talkshow" that shows Nader any kind of respect as a person with real ideas and opinions is Bill Mahr who voted for him in 2000, but is voting for Kerry in 2004(see the group in quotes above).

Oh and Tyler, I never said you HAD to vote for Nader. All I am saying is that I agree with Nader's platform up and down, more then Kerrys. And I can give a flying fuck who is "electable" or not, hell YOU still would have voted for Dean.

Your casual interest shines through, Highland.

Funny, even I can see that this is Kerry's election to win, especially with Bush's abysmal domestic record, yet Kerry can't seem to galvanize people into voting for him, and I mean vote for Kerry because they feel he is the best man for the job, not because it's "anyone but Bush" and it's showing in the polls, isn't it?

The Green Party has a nominee. His name is David Cobb. Vote for him, not fucking Nader, who is only running to placate his own ego.

He could've easily taken the Green party's nomination had he not shunned them. If he gets 5% of the vote, nobody gets federal matching funds. He just gets to go on talk shows for another 4 years.
