Donald Duck in Naziland

Recommended Posts

If you punch in "Banned cartoons" in Kazaa or some similar program, you can often find a number of cartoons like this.

I will warn you though: That song is catchy.

Why is that a warning?

Well, when you first catch yourself wandering around going "When the Fuehrer says/We is the master race/We HEIL~! HEIL~!/Right in the Fuehrer's face", you'll know.

I still find it hard to get over the use of Swastikas in a fucking Disney cartoon.

Or Popeye using phrases like "Come back here, ya Japansies!"

Another catchy nazi song?

:adds it to the list with Skrewdriver's "Skinhead":

"Skinhead" is definately a song you don't want stuck in your head...

Pulling on the boots and tightening up the laces?

Shaving their heads and ? their faces?

There you have a skinhead, looking for a fight

Skinhead, skinhead, running through the night

Skinhead, skinhead, running through the night

Making lots of trouble, starting lots of fights

Skinhead, skinhead, getting really pissed

Skinhead, skinhead, tattoed on the wrist!

Hanging? in the lane way, waiting for the scum

Especially yellow faces, kick their fucking bum

When they plee for mercy, we will show none

Skinhead, skinhead, 'til the job is done

Skinhead, skinhead, putting on the boot

Looking for a streetfight, looking for a row

Skinhead, skinhead, running through the fights

Skinhead, skinhead, stompin' on your face!

When the coppers see us, at first they pull the gun

But when they see us come towards, then they start to run

When we wear our badges it make us feel proud

Skinhead, skinhead, shout it out loud!

Skinhead, skinhead, skinhead, skinhead...

And why do I know this song? I heard it on Russell Crowe's skinhead movie Romper Stomper. After seeing it I couldn't get the song out of my mind, so despite the subject matter I just had to have that song.

You guys can just look for the Walt Disney Treasures DVD "On the Front Lines", it has a bunch of the WWII Propoganda that Disney made including that Donald cartoon and a few other controversial cartoons from the time period. I fully endorse picking up the DVD (among other Walt Disney Treasures)

Indeed.

I don't remember how I found it, but on Kazaa one time I remember coming across a German-made (but English-voiced) porn cartoon featuring big-dicked not-really-Bugs Bunny and not-really-Porky-Pig

Let me preface this by stating that I'm NOT a racist (former S.H.A.R.P. as a matter of fact) but I'm actually a pretty big Skrewdriver fan. A lot of their songs are catchy (Boots n Braces, If There's A Riot, Hail the New Dawn) once you get past their lyrics.

Hell, even Get On that Boat, while among the most blatantly racist songs I've heard, is a hard one to get out of your head.

I downloaded several of their songs after I couldn't get the song out of my head. They do have alot of catchy songs, but they are major guilty pleasures for any non-skinhead.

It's already catchy to me and I haven't even heard it yet. ;)

Scott Keith (IZFAAAATBONZOGONZOLOL2004!!!~~) actually reviewed that, but was that a Canadian-only release or something? I haven't seen any of the Disney Treasures released here in the US, but I'd probably have to go halfway to Pittsburgh and check Best Buy for it, since we only really have Wal-Mart, K-Mart, FYE, and the like around here.

Always Always Always check The Disney Store, Disney.com, Amazon.com, and the like. I have only ever seen "Mickey Mouse In Black And White" and "The Disney Studios" at an FYE near me. I had to drive an hour to a Disney Store to get the Complete Goofy.

And Disney is a company that definitely would NOT release a high-profile DVD set in only Canada. Especially ones that are considered "special editions" as they only make a certain number of each to begin with.

I saw the banned Bugs Bunny cartoon a few weeks ago- the one about the Japanese. I turned off the very tired and overused PC section of my mind, and the cartoon was pretty funny.

On the Front Lines was available in the states. I did pick up my copy sometime this summer, along with The Chronological Donald Duck, volume one (good), Mickey in Living Color, volume two (ehhh...), and I also got The Complete Goofy from eBay (decent, but no option to play all shorts?)

If you find it, snap it up. I've heard it's already out of print...
