The Kane angle

Im definately seeing a heel turn coming. Kane already was a heel at the start of this, his whole premise on this thing with Lita was despicable storyline to get into. But the entry storyline maybe heelish, but what it starting to appear in this exit program seems to show a different alternative.

 

I had said at the start and during that Lita was looking a bit heelish even in her defending herself she is little miss all that and attitude. (Which has been what she has been for years anyway) She gets forced into a marriage over the fact she helped Matt hardy beat Kane at the ppv previous to the one with the marriage stip. She has then screwed with his matches after the fact.

 

Now this thing with Gene what he said ("he was there to do a job") I don't think that was just some cute tongue and cheek comment to us smarks, this is a interesting statement... So lets what if here...

 

What if....

 

Gene was given the job to cause Kane to Nail Lita, or maybe cause the event where Lita would get injured enough to cause the pregnancy to end. Someone set him up to do that. Now it couldn't be Kane of course. His whole angle in this is have a normal life. He wanted that child in his life more than he wanted Lita for a life. Though We could probably see an inkling of his character also wanting Lita to be safe too. So.... Who could it have been, Who is gonna do the Heel turn?

 

Three canidates I see..

 

Trish: Her Rivalry with Lita seems to be building as a antagonism that will lead to a match sometime down the road.

 

Matt Hardy: A Nervious breakdown over Lita consenting to have Sex with Kane, then losing the match giving Kane the right to marry Lita. He would have the motive to give Geney boy cause to nail Kane into Lita.

LITA!

 

Lita herself probably knows the only reason she is stuck in this situation is because of her pregnancy. SO she sets up her own injury. She sets gene up. She knew Kane would go to far with the chair. She drags the chair away, Kane confronts her, giving Gene the opportunity to grab the Chair whack Kane with enough force to Nail Lita. Thereby ending the Pregnancy. Gene would feel no regret over his activity if the said victim herself made him do it. He was merely the instrument.

And I for one can totally see it within her personality she has shown currently and in the past to make this sound reasonible.

 

In the final Result...This is a god awful feud that helps NO ONE! Kane was barely on life support after his monster heel turn was urinated all over by the Likes of Shane McMahon. and this bullshit really ruins anything positive out of him. I just hope they kill the aftermath of this within the next three months so people can try to recover from this distasteful horrid storyline.... This is in the Katie Vick territory.

I think Shane hired Gene to "cause Kane suffering." Remember when Kane said he was trying to prevent Shane from ever having children? Not to mention Kane did Tombstone his MOTHER.

 

To elaborate, I think Shane promised Gene a spot on the RAW roster (using his connections) if he somehow found a way to make Lita lose the baby. Of course, for this to work Gene had to make it appear that what happened was merely an accident. Eric Bischoff was completely unaware of Gene's connection to Shane, he simply assumed he was another nobody hired to make his established stars look good.

What about a double turn involving Kane and Matt Hardy (assuming Gene is already a heel)? It's not like Matt was doing a heck of a lot with his current face run (in fact, the Mattitude gimmick has been so wasted in its two years of existence that to say he was even remotely over is stretching it). It's very possible that Matt's frustration rose to the point where he'd do anything to prevent his girlfriend's offspring from being anyone else's. Almost in a "If I can't have you, no one else will" tone.

 

As far as Kane goes, as a fan, I'm having a hard time finding a reason to boo the guy, especially since the moment Lita was pregnant, and even more especially since Kane realized he WAS the father. To me, he looked like someone who rose from being a tragic character of sorts to a very happy fellow. In spite of the odd things like telling Lita that she's now his possession, he went out of his way to provide a classy wedding (as good as Kane can, of course), amongst other things. He didn't come off as Romeo, of course, but it's Kane. And last night, when the bad news hit him, he was upset in the worst way possible, but even more amazing: he didn't lay a hand on Lita at all in frustration. He stuck with her in a way.

 

My guess: Matt Hardy hired Gene to do his dirty work. Shane's a possibility, but I also think Vince may have definitely learned his lesson about keeping his family (sans HHH) off regular television. Of course, this also depends on how long Matt's supposed to be out for.

It's going to lead to the ultimate team of Kane/Katie Vick/Lita/Matt/Shane/Shane's Baby/Snitsky being the biggest thing to ever hit RAW. Lita will win the World Heavyweight Title and destroy Evolution singlehandedly, then Kane will laugh in the corner as his minions stand around him.

 

Wouldn't THAT be a great way to end Raw one night.

I can't see Lita doing a heel turn in this whole thing. I think it's pretty obvious that Kane seems on the verge of doing a face turn. I mean, how can we cheer on this Snitski dipshit? The guy is 1. totally unknown and 2. caused a woman to lose her baby.

 

Incidentally, if Lita had simply stayed out of the ring or away from ringside she wouldn't have been in harm's way...so essentially Snitski is right when he said it wasn't his fault.

They've spent too much time and effort making Kane a fearsome heel and getting him over in that role to go back now and turn him babyface again. I hope that's not where they're going. I would have had Gene be a little more somber about it actually, but his delivery sucks anyway.

Judging by the look on Lita’s face, she seems really distraught. I think they should go a non-clear cut face/heel route, where Lita did in fact, direct Gene to give the bump. However she never realized the consequences of her actions, and now is remorseful. The best way I could describe it would be kinda like Bill in the movie Kill Bill. If they went this route it would be “realistic” drama.

 

Regardless of what they do, the WWE has a chance to turn this shitty storyline into a compelling part of RAW.

 

Let’s hope they don’t fuck it up.

I'm so dissappointed by this thread. And all this time I just thought Lita was dead........but I guess distrought would work......and I guess I should've watched the entire segment. But after I thought Lita was dead I didn't know if I could handle the emotional burden that can put on someone.

I think next week there should be a French film-esque sequence. Kane is walking down a busy city street, and he sees two happy parents with their baby in the perambulator, playing with a balloon. Preferably, a soft piano tune plays in the background. Kane sees the parents and the baby, all so happy. But he does not strike. He just walks down the street, and into a Babies R Us. He looks into a crib, holds up a small baby blanket, and weeps.

Really though, that would make Kane out to be remorseful...which, in turn, would make him a babyface again. He's going to be dangerously close anyway...since he'll be with Lita.

 

The last thing Raw needs is ANOTHER babyface. Kane is one of the few heels that Raw actually has.

I doubt theyll reveal a plot to bump off the kid. Remember wwe doesnt do murder (and they dont want to get into a fight with pro life people who think fetuses are people)

 

but this is new, other pregnancy angels resulted in the women lying about it (terri runnels, stacy keibler in wcw, stephanie in 2002)

With a relative nobody like Snisky being the one to cause The Miscarriage, does anybody think that maybe were In line for a Murder Angle? Kane did say that no matter what happened, Snisky was "A Dead Man." I know this sounds outrageous, but given what has gone down In this Storyline so far, I wouldn't put anything past Creative.
