- TNA has booked their December PPV on 12/5.

Well, that's good. It's actually a very good idea, considering a PPV later in the month would be less likely to get good buys, since late X-Mas shopping would drain the fans' pockets.

- Diamond Dallas Page wants to be apart of TNA, but Jeff Jarrett is against it.

Of course. DDP's infinitely more over than Jarrett, and would put people over while also putting on good matches. Sure, he's not a good "on-the-fly" worker, but given an opponent that would be good with carrying him during "on-the-fly" sections of the match, and would also be open-minded about choreographing most of the match beforehand? Solid bouts galore.

- The Hustle group in Japan has been in talks with DDP.

At least one promotion is smart enough to bring in one of WCW's main eventers that DOESN'T completely suck.

- Look for Glen Gilberti, Johnny Swinger and Trinity in the NYC group.

As they've been for the better part of the past six months.

- TNA is said to have a one or two year commitment to Universal Studioes.

They should really find out how long the deal is for, considering it's likely that they'll be booted if they aren't bringing in enough people.

- TNA Impact on 9/3 did a 0.17 rating as the 8/27 edition did a 0.12.

Which says CHANGE THE WAY THE SHOW WORKS. Don't just put two squash matches, a meaningless tag match, and a meaningless X-Division bout on there. Try your best to get a good primetime timeslot, preferably on Wednesday so you won't be head-to-head with any SUPERB cable show, and do your damnedest to extend the show another hour. But, before all that can occur, you need to DRAW FANS IN. Meaning: no booking the show around Jeff Jarrett and his opponent that nobody cares for (this killed WCW), no misusing the roster members the fans DO care for (Styles, Truth, Kash, Raven, Sabin, XXX, AMW, Abyss, and even Shark Boy to an extent), and making the show mean more than Xplosion.

- There has been no word if TNA is bring back manager Jim Mitchell, the sinister minister.

They won't bring in Jim Mitchell (although I do hear that he's doing good with his insurance company, or whatever it is, in Florida), but they'll bring in Jeff Hardy, Johnny Fairplay, and keep all of Team Canada (aside from Devine and Williams, who may be the only worthwhile parts of the team, moreso Devine than Williams)...rrrrriiiiiight...

I'm sure everyone knows that 0.1-ish isn't bad considering the network and time. Of course, if this were WWE, that would be in the 5th circle of hell.

I did notice that drop of 0.05, which is kinda significant for such a low rating show.

They were pulling in .3 and .4 for the first couple weeks. That's why it shows just how shitty the promotion is now.

I can see both sides for the DDP argument. In Jarrett's defense DDP had a career ending back injury and you never know what kind of effect that'll have on the guy. On the other hand he's probably the best big name you can grab who won't suck in the ring aside from maybe Sting.

There wasn't a drop. The 9/3 did .05 better than the previous one.

I read that wrong, my bad. I thought it said 8/27 first, then 9/3 (or thats how its suppose to go, in the right order)

The first few weeks ratings shouldn't count though. Remember, the XFL did pretty good ratings at first, and by the last week, was the laughing stock of primetime television, drawing worse ratings than every other show...ever.

To the casual wrestling fan, TNA still doesn't have anything to offer. Impact is practically just freaking squash matches and hype promos for the company. I don't see why they keep bringing in the jobbers of the day, especially since they have a bunch of guys under contract being paid for nothing.
