Lightning Flik Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 HOLY SHIT~! I'm 3-1!! DAMN! NO WAY!
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 4, 2004 Author Report Posted October 4, 2004 I'm surprised that four playoff teams of a year ago -- Dr. Tom, Gert, Fazzle and Human Fly -- are a combined 1-13...
Lightning Flik Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 1-13?! Damn... That's really messed up.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I have the exact same record as I did last year at this time. Though Miami was 0-2 when I took over.
starvenger Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 To paraphrase Phil Hellmuth, if it weren't for bad picks I'd win every time...
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 That was stupid of me to pick the 49ers over the Rams. Oh well, the Chiefs certainly aren't going to beat the Ravens.
fazzle Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I'm surprised that four playoff teams of a year ago -- Dr. Tom, Gert, Fazzle and Human Fly -- are a combined 1-13... I blame the spread.
Lightning Flik Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I thank the spread. That and I choose more wisely now. ...although, only in the picks that matter probably.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I blame my shoddy special teams and my head cheerleader being a whore. That is all. -=Mike
Dr. Tom Posted October 4, 2004 Report Posted October 4, 2004 I blame Mike's head cheerleader being a whore, too. She's kept me... uh, distracted, and my picks have suffered. Besides, there's only one "spread" I think of when she's around, and it's not the points one...

Guest Vitamin X Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 And the lice are feisty liberals.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 So I lsot because Kyle Boller is the worst qb is history.

Lightning Flik Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I've got a two game lead on both the Bucs and Saints, and a 3 game lead on the Panthers. Awesome.
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 So the Packers, Cardinals, Falcons, and Giants are the best in the NFC right now. Packers hold a tiebreaker for beating the Giants and the Falcons for beating the Cardinals. Awesome. The real life Pack SHOULD be 3-1 also if not for injuries and stupid mistakes. Not to mention bad coaching. Okay, maybe they shouldn't be 3-1 then... :-\
kkktookmybabyaway Posted October 5, 2004 Author Report Posted October 5, 2004 Don't even think about tie-breakers now. Last year was such a clusterfuck in regards to end-of-season tie-breakers, I still have nightmares trying to sift through that wreckage of bubble teams...
Lightning Flik Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 Aw the tie-breakers made it fun last year... Although speaking of freaking ties, I would've been in the playoffs if there wasn't a fucking tie that fazzle got, that made him get into the NFC South Wild Card last year. You can't imagine my joy at looking down from the top of my division to see him at dead freaking last this year.
CanadianChris Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 All I can say is... 13 weeks to go.
Lightning Flik Posted October 5, 2004 Report Posted October 5, 2004 I gotta admit that I'm kinda surprised at how sucky my division is. We only had ONE team with a .500 record last year and we are currently on pace for that again. Although this time, I'm the one team that will be above .500 when the season ends.
Bored Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 Houston Texans (Bored) 2-2 <PF: 32, PA: 31, AFC: 2-1, NFC: 1-0, DIV: 0-0> Shouldn't I be 3-1? Uh oh maybe this is revenge for basically stealing your idea.
