JoeDirt Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Did Kerry just do a pelvic thrust? "I've been preparing long and hard for this debate...in fact...I was UP ALL NIGHT."
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I guess Kerry forgot to answer his timeline question. -=Mike
Justice Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Wow, Kerry is really giving Koffi Annan a run for his money in the race for Secretary Ge- Oh, wait...
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry constantly referring to the UN is just dumb. -=Mike Agreed, esp. since he has the pre-invasion events screwed up.
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 What's up with the "deer in the headlights" look Bush gets before every answer? Â Â Â Â -=Mike I seriously think Bush is getting asked questions he was not prepared for. I'll actually guarantee that it is not the case. BOTH are insanely well prepped. -=Mike Then I have no clue why Bush would be so nervous. Â He looked light years better against Gore. Â Oh and when was the last time candidates hated each other like this? Gore and Bush and Clinton and Dole seemed a lot less antagonistic. Â I think this may be the angriest since Nixon/Kennedy.
AndrewTS Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry thinks Iraq can be stabilized in the short term...?
teke184 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush lays down the bitchsmack on Kerry for the Allawi crap he pulled.
JoeDirt Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry constantly referring to the UN is just dumb. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â -=Mike Agreed, esp. since he has the pre-invasion events screwed up. Yeah, they're both going to the well too often with some of their lines/points/etc.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush with the Kerry slam on Allawi
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Ugh, Kerry and his people's words about Allawi aren't too good for Kerry. -=Mike
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush really hasn't done a good job defending himself. He's trying to come across to the common folk way too much.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 We'll see how he answers this.
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 A majority of Iraqis want elections... Â But who says they'll elect a regime friendly to us?
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 We'll see how he answers this. As well as Kerry did. Â Namely, not bloody well. -=Mike
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry repeating everything Bush says ain't gonna win shit for him.
JoeDirt Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush really hasn't done a good job defending himself. He's trying to come across to the common folk way too much. "To answer that next question, Jim, let me get on my banjo and play a little ditty..."
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush is getting more and more squirmy.
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 This is a good debate for the back and forth of it... but it's not for their delivery. The content isn't matching the action.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Wha? Â I think Bush missed Kerry's point.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry repeating everything Bush says ain't gonna win shit for him. Especially since saying you'll do it differently without saying how is nigh useless. -=Mike
teke184 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush jumped the gun on that rebuttal... he's getting a little flustered.
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush really hasn't done a good job defending himself. He's trying to come across to the common folk way too much. "To answer that next question, Jim, let me get on my banjo and play a little ditty..." LMAO...he sings his foreign policy to the tune of the Beverly Hillbillies theme.
GreatWhiteNope Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 The only thing that would kill Bush right now is Leher bringing up "Mission Accomplished".
AndrewTS Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Is North Korea going to be brought up again? Â "by speaking clearly..." Â LOL!
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry didn't answer the point about Allawi, and Bush sort of dunce cap'd Kerry's point about Allawi's assesment of the terrorists.
JoeDirt Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 "The enemy attacked us..." Â Al Qaeda attacked us, yes...but we're in Iraq...
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 This debate has generally been underwhelming
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush suggesting that Dems. don't think Muslims are capable of democracy is funny.
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Bush gets +1 for saying "rue the day".
