Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 I'm worried a bit for Kerry about the media's after-coverage about this. The tone might be "Bush bashes flip flops!!!!!" and could ignore Kerry's valid disputes of those claims. Very true. Kerry has brought up a bunch of great points that hopefully will get brought up. BOTH men have, I believe. Bush has, but they haven't come across as weak. Especially how he kept bringing up that POLAND~! was on our side continually during the first 15 minutes of the debate.
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry's advantage going in is that it'd be hard to guess what he'd hone in on; I'd GUESS that was what the President has looked so bent out of shape over.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Fuck Bush looks confused. He starts every answer horribly. He finishes them well --- but lord, the start is abysmal. -=Mike
teke184 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 SDI? Not a good idea. Kerry will talk about suitcase nukes.
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 SDI? Not a good idea. Kerry will talk about suitcase nukes. His "I'll secure them in 4 years" mantra is not terribly believable. -=Mike
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Interesting rebuttal on bilateral talks by the President.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Will Kerry find out that the way to win points is not to echo Bush before the end of this debate? CALL THE WCW HOTLINE TO FIND OUT!!!!!!!

Poland thing made everyone in our dorm crack up. It was idiotic to the nth degree.
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 The Russian question: Kerry: "Yes...Andrei Kirilenko is the best small forward in the NBA."
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry DOESN'T SUPPORT CHECKS AND BALANCES EITHER! 9/11!

Simply pointing out that the non-existant coalition is not accurate. -=Mike

That got me, too.

No offense to the good people of Poland, but him saying that would be like Evolution would say they are tough because they hang out with Garrison Cade.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 In fairness, most of the Kerry=Flipflopperlolololol has been a Republican talking point and not necessarily 100% true.
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 It's caught on, though, and that's the perception.
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 'I went down to the KGB and he had three and a half sacks!!!!!!!'
Justice Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 In fairness, most of the Kerry=Flipflopperlolololol has been a Republican talking point and not necessarily 100% true. True, but to say he's been consistant on Iraq is absolutely bullshit. We can both agree on that.
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 In fairness, most of the Kerry=Flipflopperlolololol has been a Republican talking point and not necessarily 100% true. Every politician changes their mind. Other than that, what has the GOP been using for reasons why Kerry shouldn't be pres?
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Hey guys, Bush is on a first name basis with Putin! Because all of my buddies pronounce my first name a different way every time they talk to me, too!
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry's done decently --- but doing decently is not nearly enough. -=Mike
Guest BDC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Oh, there it is... Bush as a liar card is on the table.
GreatWhiteNope Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Here's Mission Accomplished...Bush avoids it.
teke184 Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 That was a low blow by Kerry... Bush didn't throw it back in his face either.
DerangedHermit Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Kerry's done decently --- but doing decently is not nearly enough. -=Mike At least he's not shitting his pants with every question being given.
Steviekick Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Of course China would be upset if North Korea developed weapons to use against the US. They might not be able to get the money back they loaned to Bush!
Guest TheLastBoyscout Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 AHA! Kerry is justifying his vote to go to war, while simultaniously bashing Bush's plan on Iraq.
Justice Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 "He was a threat... that's not the issue..." That's a very deadly statement there.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 Wait, I'm having Deja Vu here. Didn't we just hear that debate 10 times before?
Guest GreatOne Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 My fellow Americans? And Arnie hailing Nixon was suicide?
Guest MikeSC Posted October 1, 2004 Report Posted October 1, 2004 "He was a threat... that's not the issue..." That's a very deadly statement there. His answers were WAY too reliant on "We need the UN". -=Mike
