Why is it. Not everyone wants democracy and it should dont be our job to go around the world telling everyone else how they should be governed

They've never had a chance --- and them becoming democratic helps us A LOT in the War on Terror.

Is there any actual proof that the majority of Iraqis don't want a democracy? Is there any sort of poll or something that backs this up? An insurgency proves nothing; that just means you have people that don't like the new government, it doesn't mean they are a majority. Is there proof that a majority of Iraqis don't want democracy?

Come now, you republican fools! Surely they enjoyed living under Saddam's boot. Who wouldn't? What with the raping, the killing, the random murders by his kids, the torture chambers. And so much more! I mean, let's be fair: Iraq was as close to paradise this side of your own 10 personal virgins (provided you, y'know, kill yourself for the cause).

EDIT: Fixed my typo.

"If those guys had been with one virgin, they wouldn't want ten."
