Why would Bischoff get protected in any way, shape or form? He's freaking Eric Bischoff. Trust me, something will happen. Eugene may lay down, or William Regal may do a heel turn. spman 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2004 If the WWE doesn't rig the voting, I could definitly see the combination of Internet Smarks who really wanna see the match, and marks who just want to be amused by voting for someone they perceive to be a jobber all voting for someone like Stevie Richards. So unless WWE rigs the voting, don't count out the possibility of Jericho vsStevie. I know there's some kind of unwritten rule or something that says Smarks love Steive but really, I'd rather see Jericho/Shelton, Jericho/Rhyno, even Jericho/Christian again. Actually (and I'm not a major Jericho or Richards fan and I'm saying this), Steven Richards and Chris Jericho had a pretty damn good match on Sunday Night Heat a few weeks ago. I mean...last month Stevie was fighting a guy in a dress...and granny panties, and the next he's getting a IC title shot? I mean..I guess that's the whole concept of the voting...and 'anything can happen', but as I said I think I'd rather see one of the other matches I listed, which all of actually have a reason for happening. Maybe they'll look at the results when they need a good laugh but there's no way that Vince would let someone else decide what they want to see when he can do it for them. I.C Title Match What I want to see: Val Venis or Stevie get the shot. It's a throwaway match that Jericho will make decent, put a deserving surprise entrant in there to keep up the guise of anything can happen. Prediction: Batista, Flair interferes, Jericho goes down to the monster clothsline, B-bomb Winner: Batista Randy Orton Vs Ric Flair What I want to see: A Flair win. Since that won't happen, a submission match where Orton can show off a new side of his repertoire and beat the legend at his own game. Prediction: Cage match, Batista interferes, heroic Orton overcomes the odds. Winner: Orton Eric Bischoff Vs Eugene What I want to see: Servant match with Eugene winning. The only option here that has any possibility of generating something entertaining. Prediction: Hair match, Bischoff humiliated, me taping it to cure insomnia. Winner: Eugene Kane Vs Snitski What I want to see: Steel chair match, Kane destroys Snitski in a hard hitting stiff power match Prediction: Lead pipe, Lita turns on Kane with a pipe shot that wouldn't break an egg, in his confusion he gets hit with the Test slam Winner: Snitski World Tag Title Match What I want to see: an entertaining match Prediction: HBK goes down due to miscommunication with Edge. Uncertainty whose side Edge is on. Winner: La Resistance World Title Match What I want to see: Edge hasn't been primed for a title shot, Benoit would just be returning the job, so by default I'm picking HBK for another semi-entertaining installment of their battles.
