Resident Evil series, I'm looking at YOU ( I know they supposedly have one coming out soon)...I mean, they have a new Final Fantasy game based on Vincent from FF7, what the fuck is that shit? dude was a HIDDEN character, i.e. you don't need him to beat the game therefore he is not essential to the storyline!

So thw word is that the first half might be a set before MGS1 (might even be a VR mission for Snake) and the second half will be after MGS2. I believe it has been said that this is the last game in the series. Essa

Raiden still has to find Olga's kid, Snake has to find and defeat the Patriots once and for all, and Vamp is still alive. I think this will be the last MGS, as it will tie up the major theme of the series (What makes a person, Meme/Gene/Scene). Metal Gear Solid 2 left a lot of loose ends, but it was complete in the way they wanted it, since the major "message" was given. Although if there is money in it then I'm sure a different team of programmers will decide to continue the series.

We don't even know about that yet, with the roster for SD vs. Raw being smaller (and with pointless wrestlers like Hardcore Holly, Chuck Palumbo, Garrison Cade, Scotty 2 Hotty, etc.) and more unnecessary features added (chop battles, blur filter effect during submissions, voiceovers ala Attitude and Warzone, possibly horrendous and repetitive commentary again, etc.). I hope the CAW mode hasn't deteriorated because if IGN's Eugene is the best ANYONE will be able to do, then I don't think anyone's going to even use that mode anymore, and then the sales of the next game will drop dramatically because of that.
