Also, I'm not sure if you said you watch ROH or not WMD, but it's definately an acquired taste that the "casual" fan probably doesn't have the attention span for it................ In short, it would take quite an effort for me to keep up with all the stories and such, and I just don't have the energy. What I have seen of ROH has been up and down. I've seen some really good matches, and I've seen some really bad stuff too. Personally, I think we always give more credit to indies than they deserve, which is OK. If some of the stuff ROH does was put on national TV, we'd crap all over it. If TNA were a local NC indy, I'd probably think it was great. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

People always shitting all over ROH usually is more because of their mutant fanbase more than it is about the in-ring action. RF still posts his shills all over the net, but I have to think that barely anyone buys anything from him anymore. And the ROH product has really improved since all that shit went down around March. The stuff from April-now has been really fun for the most part, though most "casual" fans judge the product on what they've seen, which is generally from 2002-2003. TNA just hasn't grabbed my interest at all. I feel like it's a really "dumbed down" product for some reason. There's no complexity at all to ANY of the storylines. My main problem with them is their inability to put on ONE classic match in their history. Look at the roster. Those guys should be putting on a ***** classic every month or so. Make sure you get Generation Next from May (my fav show of the year), Survival of the Fittest (next show after WTC and a great show) and Death Before Dishonor 2 part 2 (part 1 is good, part 2 is FANTASTIC.) I do think some are valid, though. I agree that there should be better matches out of TNA's roster, and wonder how they can't put on really good matches. *crosses fingers hoping that Victory Road would actually produce good matches* (Side note: I was surprised with the amount of "normal" wrestling fans at the ROH show I was at.
