Spaceman Spiff 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 AoO brought this up in this week's "kkk Pick 'Em" thread. Here's their remaining schedule: Sun. Oct. 24 - St. Louis Mon. Nov. 1 - @NY Jets Sun. Nov. 7 - Arizona Sun. Nov. 21 - @Seattle Sun. Nov. 28 - @San Francisco Sun. Dec. 5 - Buffalo Sun. Dec. 12 - @Denver Mon. Dec. 20 - New England Sun. Dec. 26 - Cleveland Sun. Jan. 2 - @Baltimore I say they at least beat Buffalo, with the possibility they luck out another win along the way. Maybe Arizona, although they really haven't been a push-over this season. Sorry, Slayer, they will not go 0-16.
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I think San Francisco and Cleveland are their best shots at avoiding 0-16 - both teams have mediocre offenses that the Miami D can shut down and both the 49ers and the Browns have fairly lousy defenses that even Miami could exploit. kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Wow. With some of the crappy teams on that schedule, if Miami goes 0-16 they really deserve that record...
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Beating Cleveland would be doubtful. If they can't beat the Bengals there's no way they can beat the Browns.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 You never know. The Browns have played tough some weeks and crappy other weeks. The Dolphins have every chance available to at least win one game this year...
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I think they could end the season at 4-12 by beating Arizona, Buffalo, S.F. and by surprising a team like the Jets, Broncos or Rams. They'll upset at least one of the good teams.
kkktookmybabyaway 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Here's a better question -- who will get more wins. The NFL 'Fins, or Human Fly and his winless Redskins? (Sorry, I had to say it...)
strummer 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 How pathetic is it that they get a Monday night game next week. ABC will be whining about the flexible schedule again, and again no one will listen or care.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I predict a 3-13 season finish with a victory over Seattle (Upset pick galore), Buffalo and Cleveland.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Washington might be able to stumble their way to 6-10 with some of the horrible teams they play. And they might pull an Arizona on the Vikings in week 17.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted October 21, 2004 U know ABC will push for the Flexible schedule considering the 1-4 bengals get a national game. I kinda like the idea of the NFL FANS choosing the game of the week. But ABC should just schedule better.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted October 21, 2004 ABC has no room to whine about this stuff. They have Dallas on MNF 4 times this year and anyone could've told you they're a horrible team to watch. Stop picking games where the focus is going to be on the coaches like Dallas/Washington was. Don't give 7-9 teams a slot either.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Sorry, Slayer, they will not go 0-16. Goddammit, my vision will not be denied!
sfaJack 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 U know ABC will push for the Flexible schedule considering the 1-4 bengals get a national game. Two things: 1. What about Fox and CBS? They get stuck with shitty games all the time. Why can't they have some flexible scheduling, too? 2. The blame lies (mostly) with the NFL. If they weren't so insistent on littering their league with parity, ABC might actually get some better games. The up-and-down nature of the league makes it impossible to consistently schedule quality games each week.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I think it's entirely possible for them to go 0-16. The only strength on the team is negated by the fact that they keep turning the ball over on offense so the defense is on the field longer. And this will hopefully be the final nail in the coffin for Wannstedt. For all we know, Miami might win the Monday nighter at home against New England. Hell, I'll even go and hope that they get a good second shot at keeping the Fins tradition alive, one thing they've consistently done until this year. Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 21, 2004 I predict a 3-13 season finish with a victory over Seattle (Upset pick galore), Ain't happenin unless K-Drop (who if his suspension starts Sun will be his first game back) drops about 27 passes, which is highly possible. Of course anyone with a brain should be able to indicate that K-Drop shouldn't be involved in the offense (even if it's 48-10 in the fourth quarter) at that point. Even then Feeldler will go a combined 25-40 for 247 yards and five INTs, making any chance at the upset highly unlikely
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 1-15. They will beat the Niners, who are even worse than the Dolphins are despite the win over the Cards. The Dolphins are talented enough on defense to do better than that, but mentally they seem to have given up. Fire Wannstadt and they might get as many as 3 or 4 wins, but 1-15 if he stays til the end of the year.
Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 21, 2004 But who will win that barnburning electrifying Dolphins/Cardinals contest?
Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Arizona is better than Miami. That is a possible win though.
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted October 21, 2004 They could run the table and go to the playoffs.
Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 21, 2004 Yeah, and Koren Robinson could turn into an all-pro receiver
Guest Rrrsh Report post Posted October 23, 2004 With a team this bad, I can't see them winning a road game Therfor, I would say Arizona and Clevland give them the best shot.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted October 23, 2004 I'll go 2-14 beating Buffalo and San Francisco.

Guest Flyboy Report post Posted October 24, 2004 Hello, Aaron Rogers. Or Matt Leinart. Or... Kyle Orton. Take your pick.
Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 24, 2004 With Matt Hasselbeck returning to his 2001 form today and the Dolphins pouding that 'great' St Louis team Nov 21 doesn't look that good all the sudden...............
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2004 They could run the table and go to the playoffs. Hey Tyler, you might've jinxed the team into doing that.
Guest GreatOne Report post Posted October 24, 2004 That would imply that the Dolphins would beat the Steelers though. I'm not sure he thought it through. Unless he thinks his Steelers are as mediocre as my Hawks, who are letting Arizona kick their ass right now (no, I don't give a fuck who's injured)
Dr. Tyler; Captain America 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2004 Miami already got beat by the Ben Roethlisberger machine, so I'm not concerned about that. The curse I levied upon them was one where they are doomed to go 8-8 and get only the 20th pick in the draft.
