Guest El Satanico Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Click Here Some of the times don't show up, and to see them you need to highlight them.
Guest JMA Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 One of the best things about Halloween are all the horror movies on television. I can't wait.
Guest Scud Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 IFC on Halloween looks like the best thing to watch. I have never seen Suspiria before so I hope it will be worth watching.
Gary Floyd Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 IFC on Halloween looks like the best thing to watch. I have never seen Suspiria before so I hope it will be worth watching. Oh it is. Film doesn't make a whole lot of sense at times, but it will fuck you up. One of the scariest films ever made, IMO
2GOLD Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 No Garfield? Man, good thing I have it on my computer. Bastards.
NoCalMike Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 No Garfield? Man, good thing I have it on my computer. Bastards. Sometime in November they are releasing a Garfield DVD featuring all of the Garfield seasonal specials......WHOO~!
NoCalMike Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 I cared more when I was younger, but now I have a big collection of horror dvds. Plus I usually attend the horror movie/halloween festivals in town. I do tend to notice that local stations are quite skimpy on scary movies around halloween time as compared to when I was younger.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 I agree with Mike here. The local Fox affiliate here in Pittsburgh(WPGH) used to show TONS of horror flicks when I was a kid. That was the first time I saw some of my favorites to this day(Halloween and Phantasm come to mind)................
Guest El Satanico Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 I also agree that it's alot harder than it use to be to find Halloween programming. Garfield will probably be shown, It's usually CBS and I didn't check them too much. I honestly forgot about the Garfield special, since I'm more of a Great Pumpkin person.

Oh it is. Film doesn't make a whole lot of sense at times, but it will fuck you up. One of the scariest films ever made, IMO I was looking up Suspiria on IMDB, apparently they are remaking it for a 2005 release. Suspiria (2005)
Vyce Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Man, AMC has really declined in terms of quality. Yeah, I mean, they've got a few showings of the classics like "Frankenstein", and they win some points for airing some Hammer films. But I saw a listing for "Dr. Giggles." Come the fuck ON. DOCTOR GIGGLES?!?!?!
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 I think a problem, at least in this area, is stations that were once upon a time were fully independant now follow corporate TV schedueling. In the Detroit area, we used to have WXON 20 showing all sorts of stuff on it's own, then it became a WB affiliate, and now I believe they show nothing but informercials all weekend when not following the WB schedule. The UPN station here still promotes a SHOCK-Tober, but it's only one movie per week (I think), where even just a few years ago every Saturday in October would have edited for content horror movies on from noon to 6. Oh well.
BlackFlagg Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Also Bruce Campbell is hosting Monsterfest on AMC Oct.24-31

Suspiria (2005) Hollywood doesn't have the talent or the know how to remake Suspiria...which means of course they are going to try it to make a quick buck. I guess they have drained the Japanesse horror well and now they are going to focus on trying to taint Argento films. Lazy freaks.
