IWA Mid-South Wrestling returned to the National Guard Armory in New Albany, IN on Thursday night, 10/28 for "The IWA Mid-South/NWA Wildside Challenge." Here's what went down...

IAN ROTTEN opened the show by informing the fans that due to travel problems, "American Dragon" BRYAN DANIELSON as well as "The Iron Saints" of VITO & SAL THOMASELLI would be unable to appear. However, NWA Wildside sent a few additional wrestlers to take the Thomasellis' spots on the show.

1. SALVATORE RINAURO (NWA Wildside) def. BRANDON THOMASELLI (IWA-MS).

2. ACE ROCKWELL (NWA Wildside) def. JOSH ABERCROMBIE (IWA-MS).

3. NIGEL McGUINNESS (IWA-MS) def. TODD SEXTON (NWA Wildside).

4. JIMMY JACOBS (IWA-MS) def. "Kool" SETH DeLAY (NWA Wildside).

5. JC BAILEY (IWA-MS) def. SHAWN TEMPERS (NWA Wildside).

6. TANK (NWA Wildside) def. IAN ROTTEN (IWA-MS).

7. Team Wildside (SALVATORE RINAURO & TODD SEXTON & SHAWN TEMPERS & TANK) def. Team IWA Mid-South ("Spyder" NATE WEBB & JIMMY JACOBS & NIGEL McGUINNESS & IAN ROTTEN) when Nigel caused Ian to be pinned, giving Team Wildside the win in the series, 4 matches to 3. The match went approximately forty minutes in length.

The event was filmed by IWA-MS with a single camera for home video release.

There was no point- the idiot whose posts are barely readable and border on incoherent wanted to once again let us know that he doesn't like AJ Styles

Disappointed Danielson had to cancel since Rotten/Danielson was the match i was most looking forward to, so hopefully it's rebooked on another show soon. The show looks decent, not as good as it probably could have been if both IWA and Wildside had their best possible lineups for the show, though Jacobs/DeLay and the 40 minute 8-man have my interest.

In unrelated IWA:MS business, does anyone know whatever happened with the NWA Indiana State Title Tournament? After just getting the TPI Quadshot and the Butcher Loose In Highland show i was reminded about it after the Chris Sabin/Delirious 1st Round match in the tournament. Did the tournament ever actually finish and i've just missed/forgotten about it or did IWA just not want to be bothered with another title and dropped it completely to be never mentioned again?

If people can look past the fact that there is little in the way of high profile talent on the show, it still looks like a lot of fun. Any show where there's two Salvatore Rinauro matches has got to be good.

Ian said at the Q&A that they're going to pick it back up again in a little while, have four more qualifying matches, and then do a show with the eight guys (Webb, Ian, Petey, Delirious, next four) with an eight-man tournament for the belt.
