Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I cannot believe that just happened. He faked the punt and ran it for a TD. Oh my god. 28-14 A&M.
therealworldschampion Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 The meltdown of Dama is in full effect now.
iggymcfly Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Wow, 71 yards. Cal/Oregon is fun and all, but I really wish I could watch this OU/A&M game instead of following it on the internet.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 OU needs to score something! This entire game they've been fighting back from 2 TD behind. They have not stopped A&M yet.
iggymcfly Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Edit: Never mind, apparently ESPN Gamecast isn't very accurate.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Oh that fucking fat ass ref with the glasses is always making calls against us and he never seems to make obvious ones for us. I hate that guy. Â But still......we had a TD and lost it b/c of a stupid move by Wilson.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Damn damn damn damn! OU has to pull a USC/Stanford and play total shut down in the second half.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Ok OU's got about 2 and a half minutes to only go into the half down 1 TD. Come on!
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Ok hold them to no points going into halftime! Or cause a turnover! Go in down by 1 TD or tied! You can win in the second half if you come out strong!
Guest bigm350 Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I don't think Oklahoma's all that great this year. Sure, they're undefeated ( as of right now), but they're not really impressive. I thought last year's OU team was unstoppable, that is until K-State handed them their asses. Anyhow, nobody is really impressive this year.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Every top team this year seems to have run into a stumbling block at one point or another. It's funny though that the Top 2 teams have run into more than one. Â And what happened!? I was helping a customer and I thought OU was kicking to A&M. I turn around and White's throwing a TD.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Reggie McNeal throws an INT but the Aggie defense is all over OU causing them to have to punt. This game is crazy.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 OU takes the lead for the first time today. Now we need to pull away. Â However if I check the polls and we're still #2 on Monday morning I'm going to say......."Why?"
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 I haven't been able to tell if this is OU playing like crap or A&M playing really good. So I'll just say it's both.
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 Oh man. It's like A&M woke up a sleeping monster. Â NICE OF YOU TO FINALLY WAKE UP!
Damaramu Posted November 6, 2004 Report Posted November 6, 2004 And the monster drops back into it's slumber. DAMN YOU!
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 The game is tied up again. This is just insane.
therealworldschampion Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Holy shit I thought I just saw a fat guy in a black Stetson on the Oklahoma sideline, is that Jim Ross?
Dr. Tyler; Captain America Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 That was unfortunate; Peterson is a great talent and, apparently, a good kid. Even though I'm rooting for A&M here, it's still bad to see that happen to the kid.
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Oh my god. Peterson gone for the season? Please no!
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 OU takes the lead for the first time today. Now we need to pull away. Â However if I check the polls and we're still #2 on Monday morning I'm going to say......."Why?" If USC beats Oregon State convincingly, then there's no reason you should question them keeping the #1 spot. Oklahoma IS allowing A&M to score 35+ points.

Neither victory (if the top teams do end up winning) will be anything 'convincing'...
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 I haven't questioned USC keeping #1 since they quit playing like crap. I have questioned Auburn overtaking OU. NOT TODAY! Â Oh and Peterson's over there on the sidelines looking like he's ok. They're wrapping up the shoulder and he's acting like he's fine.
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Is this the game of the week? You could make a case for last weeks game to. Sucks that OU has to play two tough road conference games against ranked teams two weeks in a row. BUT if they get by this they should be able to go the distance.
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Peterson is apparenlty back in uniform. Ya know last year when OU was blowing people out left and right they didn't win the National Title. In 2000 when they won it all they had a LOT of close calls and the only team they blew out in conference was Texas.
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 And Peterson comes back in gets is 100 and breaks the record.

Like you said though, last year they had a lame duck coming in to quarterback them in the title games.
Damaramu Posted November 7, 2004 Report Posted November 7, 2004 Yeah that's true. They did have White in as QB when he shouldn't have been. But still I think they would've beaten KSU with him healthy but probably not LSU. I mean he had people open against KSU but he was loopy and couldn't hit them. Against LSU he had NOBODY open.
