In WWE land, Arabs are Persians

I know it sounds insensitive, but Goddamn was "Hollycaust" a great name for a finisher.

Hey, I think he sounds fucking great.

Then again, the moment La Res stopped being French and started being Canadian they were great too (but I have a decent reason for hating the French - namely, the history of wars with them rather than a minor tiff over invading another country).

Not wanting to make a new thread, I ask this question: What is Khosrow Daivari's real name?

I swear to god if they do some angle where this Hassan guy fly's something into the Titan Tron and blowing it up.....................I'll never watch WWE again. EVER....

C'mon, what a completely idiotic comment. Thanks for your enlightened input there, charger. Some advice: don't write everything you think.

Oh, and I forgot Mexicans.  It's okay to make fun of Mexicans, even if they're actually Texans, in WWE-Land.

Eddy Guerrero is of Mexican descent, and thus can be considered more than just a Texav. Stop being ignorant just to blame things on the company.

I haven't seen the segment in question but could it be that these characters may turn out to be Persians? I have seen video of Iran, where Persians are most populous in the Middle East, and they do not look like "regular" "white" people. Most Persians would probably be thought of as Arabs with lighter skin. They look similar to Arab people to me.

But anyway, could these characters bossibly be Persians and are mad at America for lumping them in with Arabs? The names Mohammed Hussan and the first name Khosrow (which was taken from the middle name of the Iranian Iron Sheik) all fit this theory. I am not sure of the origins of the last name Daivari, but if it too is PErsian perhap my theory will pan out.

I think this gimmick will expose the WWE's overall ignorance when it come to other cultures. We'll see what the writers come up for him promo wise.

On top of that it exposes that a vast majority of the WWE audience are blatantly racist. I mean there were audible boos when the dude said "Allah", which could have been pipped in, or it could be the people in the crowd who voted for Bush the Crusader.

I also found JR and King's reactions to be disturbing. It was like they were pretending to be tolerant of people other than white trash hillbillies and perverted old men.

Like I said its a sad state of affairs when a guy can be a heel just by exposing the fcat that he's not a White Christian American. But thats America these days.

It is sad that they chose to seemingly cater to the lowest kind of heat possible. This guy doesn't stand a chance. And you thought X-Pac (May Allah Keep him) heat was bad?

Has Sonjay Dutt ever rode a carpet to the ring with a turban on?

Here I am watching RAW with my friends, one of whom is Persian, and when Mohammed Hassan's segment comes on and the manager, Khosro, starts speaking, he goes, "What the FUCK?...he's speaking Farsi, which is the main Persian dialect.." He understood everything, too. Apparently, the guy talked about how America was treating them bad and being mean to them (more or less). But what really miffed the guy was that WWE doesn't know the difference between Persians and Arabs.

I have to agree with my friend. WWE = fucktards.

No in this company, Italians are supposedly Arabs. Hussein is really Italian.

Judging on the basis of those two spots alone, the gimmick is pretty cool. It seems like the WWE is trying a slightly different approach with the Arab-American gimmick.

Too bad the gimmick has been done 4 or 5 times this year already is the public going to buy the Big Boot or Powerbomb as his finisher?

I'd really REALLY like to see these guys as faces.
