Jobber of the Week Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 WHOA! FOX calls Ohio for Bush!!! Gee, who'da thunk this would be the one time they wouldn't be slow?
2GOLD Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 What exactly is in Delaware anyways? I've never been there or heard anything about it. Outside of I-95, nothing pops to mind. -=Mike Has anyone here-outside of driving on I-95-actually been in Delaware? I've seriously, in all my years, never met anyone from the state, nor has anyone I know gone there. Hi, I live here. In Delaware. Yes, I am in this state...known as Delaware.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Fox projects Bush in Ohio and, thus, is 3 EVs short of re-election. Whenever Alaska is projected, he'll wrap it up. If Ohio holds, then all Bush needs is Alaska (which he will almost certainly get) to win. If he gets New Mexico (which is likely), it's a forgone conclusion.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 okay, with 83% Fox calls OHIO to Bush. 99% for Florida, fox goes "ehhh let's take our time"
Vern Gagne Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 We saw Delaware from across a bridge in Pennsylania on a family vacation.
2GOLD Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 WHOA! FOX calls Ohio for Bush!!! Gee, who'da thunk this would be the one time they wouldn't be slow? Ok, what the hell?? They wait till the end of fricking TIME to call a race that was over in Florida, but OHIO they jump on before it's over??? Ladies and Gentleman, FOX is the Dan Rather of 2000.
Guest Salacious Crumb Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Ohio at least has football. And zoos. And Cedarpoint.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I have a seeking feeling Fox ends up regretting this Ohio thing. It's just the typical bullshit for Fox to do.

But I'm not convinced that you're real.

Not to mention how long they sat with their thumbs up their ass in regards to California. All that's left of Fox's credibility as a non-partisan network is GONE, I tells ya.

Either way, this is the perfect time to break out the liquor. Four more years of Michael Moore and passionate complaints about Bush are on the way.
Vern Gagne Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 What's the point of calling Ohio? Even if you're almost 100% certain, may has well wait.
bobobrazil1984 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 There are still some people in line in Cleveland MSNBC showing people in line... I think FOX is jumping the gun a bit (even thought heyw ill probably end up being right)
Downhome Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 If Balki Bartokomous was around we could do the happy dance.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 As much as I want Ohio to go for Bush, I do think it needs an asterik beside it, since no one else is calling Ohio yet.
GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 I have a seeking feeling Fox ends up regretting this Ohio thing. It's just the typical bullshit for Fox to do. ...why? They're looking at the same data everyone else looks at. If you don't like their calls turn on CNN or something.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Ohio at least has football. And zoos. And Cedarpoint. and Kings Island. Voice of America Tower. Like 7 presidents come from Ohio... Amazing High School Football...and other shit. We've come up with ONE or two things in Delaware.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I have a seeking feeling Fox ends up regretting this Ohio thing. It's just the typical bullshit for Fox to do. OH is SOLIDLY in Bush's camp. Been that way for a while. -=Mike
Guest Anglesault Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Has ABC called Washington yet? They still seem to be 11 short on Kerry.

Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Martinez has edged ahead of Castor with only 2% remaining. What would that put the number at? 54? 55?

Either way, this is the perfect time to break out the liquor. Four more years of Michael Moore and passionate complaints about Bush are on the way. Sadly, yes. I do. I've been to Rehoboth Beach many times, and Dover, and a little hell hole known as Gumboro which is about 2 miles long. Not to mention Middletown, which is a freaking high school and a stop light for god sake! I have to leave the state to go to a decent mall. This place is INSANELY quiet in the Winter. It basically closes. In the Summer? Packed. Makes me wonder why the hell Claire Danes has a beach house here to surf...when we have no waves that I remember.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Will Kerry make a concession? For the good of the country?

GreatWhiteNope Posted November 3, 2004 Author Report Posted November 3, 2004 Four more years of Michael Moore and passionate complaints about Bush are on the way. And he has almost 1000 independent film makers stationed around Florida documenting this election night. We're getting another skewed movie as well.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Do they still have Sea World in Ohio?
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Martinez has edged ahead of Castor with only 2% remaining. What would that put the number at? 54? 55? 55, although Dem wins in Alaska or Colorado would subtract from that total. There's still the possibility of Thune over Daschle in SD, but that one will be VERY ugly.
El Psycho Diablo Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Looks like Bush will win. Ah, hell. The speech should be fun. Lots of "uh", "um", and "er"..
Jobber of the Week Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Well, congrats to Karl Rove. He plays a dirty, unfair, but still interesting game. This, all the marriage amendments, and the guy going on about "rampant lesbianism" actually WINNING means that tonight is a great victory for homophobic, racist, intolerant white trash hillbillies everywhere. My future posts will probably be under the influence, so expect a lot more in the way of spelling errors.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Do they still have Sea World in Ohio? No. They closed it down.
