Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 For the first time in my life, I am proud to be a Canadian. I cannot fathom the re-election of this war mongering, rich get richer, and rigidly uptight Christian fueled Conservatism. Unless everyone just assumes Kerry is a lame duck.
Jobber of the Week Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Fox isn't the only one calling it for Bushie. No, but they were the first. Again.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Do we really need that much for Chaney? Just keep him from KFC. Don't worry about someone assassinating him.
Kahran Ramsus Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 CNN is really gun-shy after last time.
snuffbox Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Thanks, Dems, for running such a shitty candidate. -=Mike It's not just Kerry, though. Look at the races. What shocks me so much is how successful social conservatism is doing tonight. While I don't think Bush will outlaw abortion even with another four years, we do appear to be slowly timewarping back to the 50s. Is that a bad thing? The kids are lacking in morality, these days. Blame Manson.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Man, I may not be able to go to school tomorrow. This night is gonna lay me to waste.
Guest MikeSC Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Fox isn't the only one calling it for Bushie. No, but they were the first. Again. Except they weren't in 2000, Moore-wannabe. The best man won. -=Mike
2GOLD Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Ok, look...you are saying 20,000 are still to vote in Cleveland You are LOSING ground, not gaining. It's over John, I'm sorry. You BLEW it, you took a slam dunk and had it hit the rim and break your nose.

Although, in the international scope of things, these are scary times.

It'd be nice thinking the last. I really hate the way the media has handled this since the AP has still refused to say anything and it's not 100% yet. But still... My country tis of thee, sweet land of fundies, of Jeebus we sing (and legislate, too)...
teke184 Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Bush is pulling ahead in Iowa... he's got a 2500-3000 vote lead with 88% reporting.

Lil' Bitch Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 After Bush officially gets Ohio, all he needs is fucking New Mexico (of all states) and he wins!
Guest The Shadow Behind You Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I love this time of the year(s) because there's always that one person who feels the "wrong" man won and makes constant threats to move to Canada. I've already got 4 people Iming me that.
Guest Anglesault Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 If John only told us his plan...can't believe he forgot to tell us his plan before the election. I wonder if he'll tell us now anyway.

Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 For the first time in my life, I am proud to be a Canadian. Here's something I'm sure you've heard before: we Americans are quite glad you're up there instead of down here with us. Gracious, senior. Maybe when your best friend comes home in a bodybag, it'll hit home for you. Or when your uncle loses his job. Maybe your child will be a homosexual and will be ostracised and be deprived of equal status as everyone else. This is like the 1950's again, and it is going to have damaging results.
cbacon Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 His inauguration should be most interesting.

Sounds like you're trying to relive the 1960s... Funny how everyone talks down the 1950s while talking up the 1960s.

Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Just for interests sake, what made the Bush supporters vote for him. I am genuinly curious.
Downhome Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 I love just sitting back reading this thread now. I look forward to the posts in here for the next few weeks/months.

cbacon Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Actually, thats just the tip of the iceberg.
Vyce Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Jobber should just stop. If SOMEHOW Kerry pulls Ohio out of his ass (which isn't going to happen, but still), then come back and gloat about it. But you're making a drunken fool out of yourself.
Guest Steel_Fury Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 Sorry 2Gold. There is no electoral love for Zod. So, is Kerry gonna call the dogs off or is he gonna fight for Ohio?
2GOLD Posted November 3, 2004 Report Posted November 3, 2004 My father did lose his job. And if you think I was going to vote for Kerry with this bizarre belief that life will be better with the Democrats in the White House then you are nuts. Life wasn't one BIT better for us under Clinton. You wanna GUESS about life in America? Enjoy guessing Doesn't make you one bit right.
