You know, I hope this launches an even larger firestorm of indecency in our culture just to piss these people off. I want a big name director to go on the record of saying "Fuck the children" and making his PG-13 action flicks into R rated gory productions. I want more wardrobe malfunctions and people appearing on TV making lewd gestures or wearing shirts with naughty language on it. We can't change these people's minds, but we can make their lives uncomfortable. I do what I can.

And it looks there still isn't a firm decision on New Mexico, Iowa, and Ohio? THREE fucking states? What the fuck? Bush should be the winner, he was leading in all of them.

Be prepared for a very conservative next four years though, with the Republicans making gains in Congress. Boy, the youth vote really failed last night...only about 17% of voters 18-30 turned out, same as in 2004. Maybe people will quit talking about "reaching out to the young voters" from now on, since they don't make a difference but will be bitching about Bush for the next four years anyway.

I think it's the last name "Bean." There is just something evil about a name like that. Speaking of which, a guy with the first name "Tupac" got elected to some position around here. I wonder how many people voted for him, simply because they saw the name "Tupac" and decided to vote for him on the basis that his name is the same as a dead rapper. Maybe people will quit talking about "reaching out to the young voters" from now on, I certainly hope so. All those commercials and "Please vote!" campaigns turned me away from wanting to vote as opposed to their original intention of making me want to go vote. Though, I'll probably be living in a different country by then, I certainly hope they go the way of the dodo in 2008, but I doubt it.

I think a 60/40 split there would make up the 300K margin. Granted, some people have reason to be skeptical since the only states where the exit polling was wrong (wrong enough for CNN to 'revise' their polling later) was Ohio and Florida. But, we don't need a paper trail for electronic machines.

I'd hope that there'd be more of a Dem/Rep balance this time around. Ah well. The people have spoken. Us young folks are slackers who like to whine and complain...I've talked to several Kerry supporters this morning who wanted to vote but "things came up." Yeah, PA is probably still going to Kerry anyway (with a slim chance of it changing), but I find that very funny. I expect them to be complaining a lot over the next four years.
