TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 The show was ok. I liked that they presented the matches ('cept the midget match) seriously, but the only people who's characters were developed were the hosts. I don't think they introduced their own characters enough to make people tune in on Friday. We'll see though.

Guest whitemilesdavis Report post Posted November 11, 2004 FSN sucks. Donkey balls. *insert gay porn/beastiality joke here* Just as long as it involves Tom Arnold, a midget, and of course, the donkey. Oh, by the way, was the production as good as they were saying it would be?
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 FSN sucks. Donkey balls. *insert gay porn/beastiality joke here* Just as long as it involves Tom Arnold, a midget, and of course, the donkey. Oh, by the way, was the production as good as they were saying it would be? Audio sucked for me on the Piper interview segment at the start but after that the audio was very well done. Production seemed much better than usual. However, I just had to deal with an hour and a half of Chris Rose and Tom Arnold. The matches were good but damn...that is way too much Chris Rose. Astro101 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 I was more annoyed at Arnold than Chris Rose when Arnold was calling Sabin, Skipper, and Dutt as the White Guy, the Black guy, and the little Indian guy.

Will Piper teach Rose some respect for wrestling? Tune in at 8pm to see it! Coconut to Rose's head, anyone? If they wrap it in barbed wire, jam razor blades in it, and light it on fire, I'll watch. Hit him repeatedly, and I'll save the damn thing on tape. I think TNA would have fared better just doing a Clash of the Champions-type show instead of teaming up with four boobs that are bigger than Jillian Barberie's and Leeann Tweeden's COMBINED. No one likes that show.

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Tonight's program should be more telling, since they're going head-to-head with Smackdown.
TNABaddboi 0 Report post Posted November 11, 2004 Tonight's program should be more telling, since they're going head-to-head with Smackdown. It does seem like they've stacked tonight's show a little more with the Cage Match and the Tables Match both figuring to get some decent time.
Fro 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 It gets replayed about ten times (2x the original night and the next morning, if not more), so I don't see how you could miss the show. Anyway, the only thing really great is Ultimate X (which Arnold seemed to be legit marking for)... Best Damn Sports show didn't give anything else enough time (although everything was pretty watchable). I'm guessing tonight is going to be a much better show. Some of the segments with Tom Arnold and all those guys were kinda lame, but it's lightyears beyond WWE "humor". It was a darn good show.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 I didn't get to see UX, but Daniels-Kazarian and Killings-Raven were WAY too short and came off totally rushed. Daniels and Kazarian especially looked out of synch and Daniels seemed to be overly nervous or drugged out or something. Most of the show came off as somewhat amusing, lighthearted wrestlecrap. I thought the BD hosts did pretty well in being happy shills, other than Cox, and Don West was on his game. Production was great. Decent overall introduction to the product I guess. Guest Quik Report post Posted November 12, 2004 I'm watching it right now... this is terrible. If TNA considers this good publicity they're out of their minds.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 TNA has done the impossible! They found a way to combine 80's pointless short matches with Sports Entertainment "celebrity" overload to make a product that is neither wrestling nor entertaining.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted November 12, 2004 Wow, unless that ME was a MAJOR stepdown from the usual Hardy v JJ fare, referring to their matches as less than "shit on canvas" is a total insult. An absolutely abysmal program. -=Mike
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted November 12, 2004 That was pretty boring, but it's better than the shit on Smackdown. Wrestling is in such shitty shape.
Guest MikeSC Report post Posted November 12, 2004 That was pretty boring, but it's better than the shit on Smackdown. Wrestling is in such shitty shape. I don't get UPN --- and haven't since the week before Kidman & London lost the WWE Tag Titles --- but I've still yet to see ANYTHING out of Monty Brown that makes me see "money" when I see him. TNA has a problem. And there is no justification for JJ being a ME'er, considering how horrid he was. Also, why was Chris Rose dressed like a drag queen? -=Mike
