Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Palmer would be great if he would...stop throwing INTs.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Damn dirty Vikings kicked Green in the ankle when he went down getting close to halftime. For those who don't know, Green has had an Achilles injury plaguing him since preseason.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 14, 2004 I bet Gibbs would rather be in Darlington with the Nascar circuit watching his drivers run in the top 10 then watch his style of 'ball be decimated by the Cincinnati Bengals.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 That's a 2-TD lead, folks. Thanks Minnesota! Keep Moss on the sidelines.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 The Redskins would have been alright had they stuck with Ramsey as the starter instead of picking up Brunell.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Moss can only make a difference on the offensive side of the ball. He can't help their awful defense.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Minnesota has never really had a good defense in the last decade or so... they just relied on the old "run up the score and hope your opponent can't keep up" philosophy, and both they and St Louis have shown why that doesn't work

Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 My son already knows to hate the Vikings (and Florida in the college realm), and he's still a few years from being conceived.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Hey it's one of those "fill in the blank" anti-whatever-team-you-hate pictures
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Hey Slayer, by your request there's a new sig.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Now it just looks dirty.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Ewwwww... And actually Randy shouldn't be in that pic either, since he's not even playing and therefore can't affect the "choke" But whatever, you'll probably remove it from your sig after the game anyway
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Mike Tice <3 Randy Moss
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 This is true.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Culpepper is SACKED.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Playing Washington's offense is going to give the Bengals defense a huge pyschological edge going into their slughtering against Pittsburgh next week. So they should stay alive for the first couple drives next week, that'd be a huge improvement after the first game for them.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Ok... Seriously. I hear that the Vikings defense are filled with #1 and 2 round picks, yet all I see are a pretty average defense.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Ok... Seriously. I hear that the Vikings defense are filled with #1 and 2 round picks, yet all I see are a pretty average defense. One word: Coaching And Minnesota gets a break by turning over on 4th down
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 BIG credit to the Vikings defense there. They knew that giving up a score on that drive would put the entire season in serious jeopardy, and rose up to match the task.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 If they could only play like that more often. You'd think they'd have figured out how to stop letting Ahmad Rashad Akhmed Rahman Green burn them for 10-15+ yards per play
Guest Nanks Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Bears improve to 4-5, second safety OT win in NFL history In the interest of my continuing NFL education, would somebody mind explaining this to me?? The safety bit, that is.
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 WTF is with the spotting here?
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Tackling/Sacking an opponent in your endzone. You get 2 points for that. You (Defense, team that got the 2 points) get the ball back on a punt.
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Well Minnesota certainly capitalized on that one....
Slayer 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 Re: Safety I can never remember if it's in college or NFL, but getting a offensive penalty in your own endzone can also result in a safety
AlwaysPissedOff 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 You can also get a safety for when the offensive team fumbles and/or loses the ball out of bounds while in the endzone(most common case of this is a bad snap that the punter can't catch).
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted November 14, 2004 A safety is when the ball for the offense gets stopped in their own endzone. Usually happens on a sack or when they stop a running back in their endzone. It's devastating at times because it's 2 points for the team playing defense AND they get the ball, potentially setting up for 8-10 points as a result of the safety. mike546 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2004 I give up on the Giants. Tiki is owning the Cards in every possible way, but the O line is so terrible and sucky that all Warner can do is throw screens. That, and the D blows.
