Guest Smues Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Keep on eye on your local KFCs, they LOVE to target them. They call them Kentucky Friend cruely, but they're behind the time. Now adays it's Kitchen Fresh Cruelty.
2GOLD Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 Let them come. My police department will sit outside with free buckets of chicken and just eat all day. My cops respect protests, except in the case of PETA. Apparently they had trouble with them in the past so now they mock them. It's wonderful. Hell, I'd volunteer to cover the story and turn it into "why PETA are the wrong group for animal lovers to support" article. My editor will be all for it, she's a member of a local animal rights group that lost close to 8,000 dollars cause of PETA.

Now adays it's Kitchen Fresh Cruelty. The time that they put that story on the news, I went to KFC RIGHT AWAY. I grabbed my keys, walked out the door and ordered a bigass bucket of chicken. A professor on my campus admitted in the campus paper to being in PETA. Well, you can guess what showed up at his door that night.
Ted the Poster Posted November 18, 2004 Report Posted November 18, 2004 This makes me remember that one episode of Futurama. "We taught a lion to eat tofu!" *half-dead lion coughs*
Ravenbomb Posted November 18, 2004 Report Posted November 18, 2004 The best thing I ever saw was when a small group of PETA people came to protest the opening of a Arbys to our home town. The police showed up and in the most polite fashion informed them if they stood in front of anyone or threw anything that the entire group of them would be in squad cars before they could say Fur is murder. Of course they were upset, so in response to the anger one of the officers went inside and bought a bag of Roast Beef sandwiches and each officer ate one in front of the group. It was glorious. *wipes away tear* that's beautiful...
Big Ol' Smitty Posted November 19, 2004 Report Posted November 19, 2004 On the subject of extremist groups doing dumb things... In my hometown of Frankfort, KY, an anti-abortion group was handing out gruesome plastic fetuses at our annual October pumpkin festival which is intended for children and consists of jack-o-lantern carving, pumpkin painting and the like.

Seems pretty damned retarded. There's no need for that kind of thing. -=Mike

Hell, that's what you get for living in the state capitol. Then again, there are more crazies out in the western part of our dear state than in the eastern part.
