Guest Sturgis

The boys of "South Park" produce their own morning news show on the school's closed-circuit television station and are immediately caught up in the intense competition for ratings in an all-new episode, entitled "Quest For Ratings,"

Cartman and Jimmy anchor "Super School News" bringing all the latest from South Park Elementary to their audience of four viewers. When the show faces cancellation, the boys refuse to give up. Committed to restructuring the program to attract viewers, Cartman will try anything to hook an audience.

I hate Jimmy's character.

Anyone else? I've never remotely enjoyed him..except a very, very, small grin at the "You Shall Not Pass!' line from LOTR parody.

I hope the show's good tonight...I personally found "Wal-Mart" to be enjoyable.

I think Jimmy's funny. I always laugh at "orange you glad I didn't say ban-nee-nee"

Yeah, I caught the 6-0 slide too.

I think it's good so far, but we'll see how they finish it.

I liked it. But the Dogs bit was stupid.

Wasn't that the point of the dog bit?

I thought this was a very boring episode that didn't add anything new at all to the series.

Not the best episode. Anyone know the song played during the dogs in a wide camera angle bit? Ive heard it on the Simpsons.

I think it was the Benny Hill song

I'm pretty sure it is the Benny Hill music, or at least a "remix" of some sort.

This was an episode that's not terrible, but isn't something I'd care to watch reruns of. I agree about the Crab People reference, that was great. I get a feeling this episode is a way to tell us they are serious about ending it after season 10.

If they end South Park, they should at least do a college spin off of Butters or something...

Tonights South Park

Much better than the previous new episodes over the past few weeks. The cough syrup trip had me in stitches. Also, Butters ruled, and for some reason, the dogs amused me.

as for Dawn Together

I fucking loved this one. The best "Star Wars" parody in ages, an vague reference to the sci-fi/horror flick "Event Horizon"(Ling Ling saying he's seen "Horrible Things") Jokes about bulemia and anorexia, a great Disney song parody, Ling Ling and the chicken, Spanky Ham in general, Foxy and Captain Hero's relationship, meat moving on it's own, cameo's from Natascha from "Rocky and Bullwinkle" and Charlie Brown (that one was just wrong), the ending, and the first time I've heard the word "Bukkake" used on TV....

....I love this show.
