This is amazing news in my mind! I have seen every Halloween Movie, and they all are spectacularly brilliant! Come 2005, I will be anticipating the release of this Movie all year long.It will be interesting to see the setting and storyline of this upcoming film. Producers have tried practically everything to keep the crowd's attention, and their ideas have been successful. Overall, I cannot wait for this Movie to reach the theaters. Michael Myers is my favorite Horror Villain, as he is for many others around the world. Your thoughts?

Halloween 3, 4, 5, H20 and Resurrection were "spectacularly brilliant?"

They should call it "The Day After Halloween" and have the entire film be Jason in a laundromat cleaning his bloody clothing with his face being obscured ala Wilson from Home Improvement

Then at the end he puts the mask on and walks into the street, and just before the credits roll he stabs a guy trying to hail a cab on the corner.

...or not.

Well, I liked them. I'm not speaking for everyone of course.

I liked Halloween 3 even though it had nothing to do with Myers, but then again that is what the "Season of the Witch" subtitle is probably eluding too. Halloween 4 & 5 I liked at the time they were made, but I was also a young, a pre-teen I believe, and admit they have aged horrible. I have only seen H20 once, it was at the theater and I enjoyed it, but didn't really think it was that great, and Resurection is a freaking embarrasment to the series.

The only logical way to continue the series IMO would be to bring back Josh Hartnett so he can exact revenge on Myers for killing his mother and finally rid the world of him, too bad that's not going to happen.

Each Halloween after 2 was supposed to be a different story, I think. 1 and 2 were two halves of the same story, just about one night. Michael died, and was going to stay dead. But people didn't like H3 and they wanted him back. I love Halloween 3. I don't know why everyone hates it other than the fact that it didn't have Michael in it.

Resurrection was horrible. This series has been tapped dry, so this new one should be the definite end. And so, someone has to kill Michael for good. Don't see much in options, though:

- John, Laurie's son, seen in H20. As Deon said, he'd have the perfect motive to extract his revenge.

- The girl who survives in Resurrection. Probably who they'd go with.

- Busta Rhymes. Highly unlikely, but he would fuck Michael up. :P

I thought Halloween 6 was the worst movie ever...till I saw Halloween H20, which was the worst movie ever...then came the last one, which is without a doubt thr worst movie ever.

Busta Rhymes gave maybe the worst acting performance in the history of cinema. It was just the least scary horror movie I've ever seen, truely awful
