In 2000, Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash, Ric Flair, and David Arquette (and probably some more whom I can't think of) won the World title on Nitro/Thunder.

1. Sid Vicious wins the VACANT World Title from Kevin Nash on Nitro.

 

2. Sid Vicious is stripped of the World Title by Kevin Nash on Thunder.

 

3. Sid Vicious wins the VACANT World Title from Kevin Nash & Ron Harris in a handicap cage match on Thunder.

 

4. Sid Vicious is stripped of the World Title by Eric Bischoff & Vince Russo on Nitro.

 

5. Dallas Page wins the World Title in a cage match from Jeff Jarrett on Nitro.

 

6. David Arquette (teaming with World Champion Dallas Page) wins the World Title in a tag match against Eric Bischoff & Jeff Jarrett by pinning Bischoff in a match where whoever scored the fall won the title.

The last time the WORLD Title changed hands was from no one holding it to HHH holding it when it was first created in late 2002.

 

The last time the WWE Title changed hands I do believe was Angle vs. Austin.
