The Dames 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Next week is really going to piss me off when Triple H wins a triple threat rematch for the title before either man is officially declared champion. Dames

Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 30, 2004 What a joke of a show. The finish was unexpected considering the already did the double winner thing early in the night. Title likely is vacated and HHH found a way to drop the title without jobbing outright.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Should of had Orton say that since Earl Hebner was the official referee, his choice overrules the other dude, so Benoit is champ. Thus, HHH doesn't have the title, Benoit has the title, and Edge gets screwed over.
Guest Thrashist Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm fairly certain they'll play the "in the event of a tie, the champion retains" card here.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 30, 2004 HHH wasn't part of the finish, so he technically shouldn't even be considered for the match...besides, Jericho is GM, so he'll screw Hunter.
Guest Dazed Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Go for it. Lousy show. Hint: Don't put the entire roster in one match, and then have to fill it out with shitty diva stuff. Thanks. Loved the main event (although the resolution was crappy), reminded me a lot of how Raw main events used to go - a lot of stuff going on outside the actual match. Shitty ending, the convenient draw thing is totally overplayed. There were a few things they could have played up... They could have played up Batista / Flair / HHH beforehand. It doesn't even have to be a big thing, just an interview with the Coach or one of the generic guys. Assure that there will be no hard feelings, and then have Orton walk by. Shows what HHH will do to keep his title in a subtle way, plays up the interplay that was booked for the match, keeps Evo as a cohesive unit, and doesn't patronise us with a needless backstage "acting" segment. There's also how HHH has never beaten Benoit in a triple threat match that could have been made more of, but never mind. How do you think it'll play out next week? Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Next week is really going to piss me off when Triple H wins a triple threat rematch for the title before either man is officially declared champion. Dames I honestly don't believe HHH will be involved in the next title match, whenever that may be. Especially if it happens next week, considering Jericho will be GM next week. (But meh...we've all seen that the GM ideas can be null and void)

Guest CronoT Report post Posted November 30, 2004 What the hell was with the controversial "double winner" angle happening TWICE tonight? Because Steph is running Creative. 'Nuff said.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Amazingly, Orton came off as the most unprepared GM as of yet and had zero authority except over the divas.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted November 30, 2004 I watched 6 minutes of the main event and turned it off with the ref bump. I would pay good money for one main event on a show to have no interference and no ref bumps.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Report post Posted November 30, 2004 That was the worst ending of RAW in history. Just stupid. I can't speak for the rest of the show as I didn't see it.
Silence 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 What the hell was with the controversial "double winner" angle happening TWICE tonight? Because Steph is running Creative. 'Nuff said. Sounds reasonable, but I don't seem to remember her doing that angle so much in the past. Maybe she became even dumber. It's very well possible.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted November 30, 2004 HHH will get the belt back when he goes to Vince and complains about the blatant interference by Orton hitting him with the chair.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 30, 2004 They did this in 2002 for the double royale winner and the PIN/TAP was done with Angle/Taker last year. So they are rather recent enough for dumb stephanie to remember. I bet she thinks she came up with the double royale winner and thinks it was a landmark booking move. Yeah, but that only happened once on those shows. Tonight it happened twice. Still, Steph could be responsible for it.
Guest Dynamite Kido Report post Posted November 30, 2004 This show was a big "fuck you" the entire night. The main event had a bullshit ending with no decisive finish, they managed to fuck up from the start by changing what the oh so powerful GM Randy Orton did and took Trips out of the Battle Royal, and on top of everything else now apparently Jericho is throwing a party next week. Fucking yeaaaaa!!!!! It's pretty shitty to think the best thing on RAW was Lawler/Flair and both of them are easily 15-20 years out of their prime. I can't wait to hear what Rudo has to say about this week's GM situation......

There have been worse endings to Raw and let's be frank, it could have been MUCH worse if they had the show end with someone resolving the double pin ending by stating that HHH keeps the title since Benoit and Edge pin/tapped out.... Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 30, 2004 And what was with the Steven Richards stuff at the start of the show? Any reason for Vince to just bury a talent for no reason? I thought they were going with a "Underdog" sell with Stevie being in the final 5 but then he does the atrocious "IM GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!" dance that wasn't funny and gets hurled over. I couldn't agree more, as there is nothing like pointing out a member of YOUR roster that apparently isn't good enough to win the World title........real smart Vince. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted November 30, 2004 I'm sure it'll be on Trips waist by the end of next week and if not then by the end of the next Raw PPV. So why bother having the belt change hands?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Edge should win, since technically the match isn't over untilt he third tap of a tap-out.
Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted November 30, 2004 and why steven richards? Eugene would have made more sense and not offend and bury a member of the roster and would have gotten heel heat.
