Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted November 29, 2004 After not seeing any live music for ages, I'm going to 4 concerts in 3 months! 6th Dec: Beastie Boys 14th Dec: Morrissey 18th Dec: Pogues / Saw Doctors Early Feb: Megadeth Quite a strange mix, and admittedly I'm only going to Megadeth cos a few of my friends are going and I'm going along with them, but all in all I'm really looking forward to them all. Especially the pogues, as this tour is probably the last time anyone will see them all in the same room alive. That is, if they all turn up. Anyone else got any gigs coming up? Guest Reservoir_Kitty Report post Posted November 30, 2004 Monster Magnet on the 10th next month. <3 Yay, finally. There's four opening bands, which sucks, but it'll all be worth it when MM hits the stage. So, so happy. I haven't seen a concert for... ... ever. Now if only Rammstein would come to the States, I'd be so euphoric.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Report post Posted November 30, 2004 I don't think the pogues is part of the celtic connections tour, rather a re-union dealy. Morrissey on the !4th should be very good. I missed out last time he was touring, and I heard he was really very good so i didn't want to miss out this time around. I'm more familiar with his Smiths stuff over his solo work, but i have been "revising" and playing his solo stuff more often.
