In baseball news, if I'm not mistaken, the entire National League is playing on natural grass and dirt. Hooray!

What exactly is Fieldturf made out of? Rubbery grass and fake dirt?

Essentially, yes. Fake grass, ground rubber and sand, I think.

 

Gotta say natural grass or FieldTurf. Carpet fields suck with the exception of maybe Boise State's SmurfTurf, and I'm only saying that for the color.

The most annoying part of FieldTurf is all the little rubber pellets that you get all over you when you fall, haha.
