Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted December 14, 2004 Report Posted December 14, 2004 Regarding the actual article this thread was based on, there's stories of soldiers improvising things like bolting sheet metal onto vehicles in the field in every war. Most of the Korean war vets got VD because they used their issued prophylactics to keep snow and ice out of the barrels of their rifles. It was either in that war or the Vietnamese war they coined the term "Clapshack" for an Army VD clinic. It'd be a good band name.
