Guest Sturgis Report post Posted December 8, 2004 Cartman suffers a severe blow to the head after a nearly fatal fall in "Cartman's Incredible Gift." After sustaining a severe head injury, Cartman appears to have the power to see into the future. South Park detectives are quick to enlist his help in cracking unsolved murder cases and Cartman is more than willing to help, for a price. In the meantime, a group of "licensed" psychics cry foul when Cartman refuses to join their ranks. This is the next to last episode of season 8, altough this is ep 13 and their signed for 15 so who knows?

Mik 0 Report post Posted December 8, 2004 This is kinda like the repeat they aired last night at 9:30 (I have my DVR set to record all episodes that air at any time) Cartman got thrown off the bucking bull and thought he was a Chinese prostitute. He then won the competition so Kyle and Stan could get Terrance and Philip dolls for $5000. It also featured a mass cow suicide. It was a really old episode, but I somehow managed to never see it before. Maybe the Tuesday episodes are picked for a reason? It's probably just a big coincidence, but it's interesting that both episodes will revolve around Cartman hitting his head and funny things happening as a result. Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 8, 2004 I don't think I've really cared for the last part of the season. It's been really hit or miss with everything.

Guest Sturgis Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I just noticed that the disc art for disc one and three are messed up. The art on disc one is from "The Entity" which should be on disc three. The art on disc three is from "It Hits The Fan" and should be on disc one.
Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I have season one of South Park on DVD but its hard to be motivated to buy any of the other box sets. Comedy Central plays the damned show at least 14 times a week. I'll wait until all these sets hit the Bargain Bin.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I wish they would've done unrated versions of the seasons and get all the swearing uncensored. That bugged me with the Reno 911 set too.
GreatWhiteNope 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I wish they would've done unrated versions of the seasons and get all the swearing uncensored. But alot of the humor comes from Matt and Trey playing off their inability to swear. It climaxed with the "shit" episode. Compare it to when the Osbournes came out on DVD. Hearing beeps 50 times when Ozzy talks is funnier than hearing him swear.

DMann2003 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 Someone should just get it over with and make Law and Order: Crime Scene Investigation Lock Dick Wolf and Jerry Bruckheimer in a room and be done with it.

Guest Failed Mascot Report post Posted December 9, 2004 If they're going to be shoveling that shit out week after week then its a good thing that they're wrapping this up after season 10. The last 3 weeks have been horrid.

UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 Last week was really funny, IMO. Wow I'm finally liking this Drawn Together show.
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 Drawn Together was funny but not as great as last week. Toot getting into a fight with Captain Morgan then carriage-jacking the King made the episode.
Ravenbomb 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 It was okay. The random killing of Ms. Crabtree was awesome
Guest Sturgis Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I wonder if the character killing will be a constant thing since it's over in two seasons anyway.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 9, 2004 It MAY be over after Season 10. None of it is official. What no one bringing up the Scanners reference?
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I didn't bring it up in here but I spotted that one when I was watching it with my sister. Just watched Scanners this weekend for the first time in about a year, too.
Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I wonder if the character killing will be a constant thing since it's over in two seasons anyway. I would doubt it. Probably just getting rid of a useless character.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 So what is the Scanners reference?
teke184 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 The "psychic fights" between Cartman and the psychic detectives. Whenever a Scanner uses their powers, a sound like "nana-nana-nana-nana" is played over the soundtrack. That's the noise Cartman et all were making in the fight. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted December 9, 2004 The biggest reference to it is when Cartman threatens to explode Kyle's head.
