hbkhhhmark4life 0 Report post Posted December 9, 2004 Hey smart marks. Is there anyone out there from the D.C. Metropolitan area like I am that knows if they are ever gonna bring a PPV here or know when they are coming back or share the same concern I do about how sporadic it is that we see them in this area, thanks. Guest stylz Report post Posted December 9, 2004 I'm not from the DC area, but wasn't there a house show a week or two ago at the DC Armory? That's in your area, no? J

Slickster 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2004 Remember, No Mercy was going to be at the MCI Center, but sloooooow ticket sales led them to move it to New Jersey just a month before the PPV.
hbkhhhmark4life 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2004 Interesting to see when they do go back how over Batista will be... Oh yeah, in July when they was here at the MCI Center, if anyone remembers, well I was there in the 5th row, they never announced Batista being from Wash. D.C., all Lillian said was "accompanied by Ric Flair, weighing in at 318 lbs., Batista!!!" And i was like wow, they aint even say he was from D.C. (well silver spriing actually, lol)
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2004 DC would be the perfect place to turn him face (or against HHH) but you know they'll pick someplace where the fans wont care one way or another.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted December 10, 2004 I remember seeing a while back on Raw that was at the MCI center that they said that was gonna be the Last Raw at the MCI Center.. that kinda confused me, then they started having shows at the Armory i think. DC is just not destined to have any PPVs come in
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted December 10, 2004 The simple fact they moved from the MCI Center to the much smaller Armory is not a good sign. ... I mean, come on, the Armory is where Robocop made his WCW debut ...

King Kamala 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2004 Has this happened anywhere else where the WWE stopped running the huge venue in town and moved down to a much smaller venue. I knew WWE was starting to hit rock bottom last year when they ran a 3000 seat casino ball room in New Hampshire for a Smackdown house show, an hour and a half away from my house and couldn't sell it out.
