Masked Man of Mystery 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Given that HHH bashed the heck out of Lesnar and all, would TNA have a shot at Lesnar, and if so, how do you think he'd be used? If he did come in, I'd say bye bye to Monty's push myself
Styles 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Considering part of his release agreement with WWE was that he is barred from working with any other wrestling or MMA company for the duration of his WWE contract (I think it goes through 2007?) I'd say this is an impossibility.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 17, 2004 If he does, hello lawsuit! His contract prohibits him working for any wrestling promotion until his contract ends like Slapnuts! said.
Guest Ronnie755 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Actually, his no- compete clause runs until March 2005.
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Unless someone else buys the company, or if they cut about half the roster and anything that costs a lot of money, TNA will be dead by then.
Art Sandusky 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Brock's too big for TNA. No, not size-wise, I meant name-wise. While some would view it as legitimizing TNA, I at least would see it as taking a great step down. He'd make everyone around him except Styles and XXX look like losers by just being near him. Maybe include Raven in that group. Lord knows he'd look way more major league than Jarrett.

ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 17, 2004 Lesnar to TNA WOULD be unique, to say the least. ...I figure they'd bring him in to feud with Monty Brown first before moving him to the World TItle picture. He'd probably be the first person to COMPLETELY no sell "The Pounce"
RHR 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Y2J...Lesnar main evented Wrestlemania, he is a former World Champ, he is a known name...he can work with smaller guys...he'd be a great additon to TNA. However, knowing what kind of $$$ the guy can make, there is about as much a chance of him signing with TNA as there is my impending 3way relationship with Natilie Portman and Keira Knightley happening. ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Word is that Brock Lesnar recently contacted WWE regarding a return to the company. WWE, however, seems to have no interest in bringing him back, feeling that he walked out on the company when he left earlier in the year. WWE has gone as far as to apparently tell Triple H to make it clear that WWE does not want Brock Lesnar back in the mainstream interviews he does. Credit: 1wrestling.com / 411 This was in the WWE Folder, so I felt the need to post it in this thread as well. ...Lesnar vs. Jarrett for the NWA World Title? Could we be seeing that in the future? Guest The Shadow Behind You Report post Posted December 18, 2004 No. Lesnar isn't going to ruin himself by working for a low rate dying company. He knows the money's in Japan anyways. He'll try to swing Austin or Goldberg to work a major showdown there. He'd be a MMA star as well and would be respected as legit athelete instead of working for a joke of a business. If He's allowed to work Indy's he won't. He won't be hitting ROH either. WWE is the only American company Lesnar will work with.

Brock wanted to leave for the NFL? they didn't want him. He couldn't even make a practice squad. He burned his bridge with McMahon, and now he can't go there. Mystery Eskimo 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2004 WWE would definitely take Brock back. He'd make money, simple as that.
Jobber of the Week 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2004 Good. Fuck him. Brock wanted to leave for the NFL? they didn't want him. He couldn't even make a practice squad. He burned his bridge with McMahon, and now he can't go there. McMahon needs Lesnar more than Lesnar needs McMahon. If he cuts down his lifestyle a bit (supposedly he bought himself his own plane at one point) there's lots of athletic possibilities he could consider. At the same time, McMahon has to balance his demands for respect with the fact that everyone from fans to workers to shareholders will want his head on a pike if things keep sliding down. Not that Lesnar would stop it, but good news > no news.
