LivingLegendGaryColeman 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Ummm... guys, he's already injured. He can't get injured while being injured currently, can he?! I think his injury this time around is like Nomar Garciappara's was for the Red Sox this summer. He was injured and sulked, got traded to a new team and was all of a sudden better. It would not surprise me to see Carter activated by the end of the week. I just wish he had gone to Portland so he would have been disqualified from the All-Star voting, seeing he is still one of the top vote getters and will be by the end, starting for an All-Star team he shouldn't even be on. starvenger 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Wow- so I was happy Vince might get traded since I got sick of reading about him everyday in the Star. So of course the player I hate the most in the NBA gets traded to my favourite team. This fucking sucks and I hate life. I'm glad we got rid of Kidney Boy but I loved AW. That's basically where I'm at with Cementhead Domi and the Leafs. Well, except that Vince actually has talent. All I can tell you is that you eventually get over it. I'm sure it's not to late to hop on the Seattle Bandwagon. That would require some drastic measures. Bob would have to renounce any and all loyalty to the Nets, including ritual burning of any paraphenelia he owns before pledging allegiance to the Sonics... Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 18, 2004 I was checking over my NBA Fantasy Teams and just realized Carter has been removed from the IL (Injured List). Quite shocking* how that happens the day after being sent away from Toronto. I guess whoever called it I owe a coke. *-sarcastic remark.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 No fucking way "the fans" vote in Carter again this year. They can't be that stupid, can they?
Guest LooneyTune Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Fans in Boston were voting Nomar Garciaparra for this years All-Star Game and he didn't even play a game yet. I'm sure some NBA fans are dumb enough to vote Vince Carter, even though he is the most over-rated player in recent history.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 No fucking way "the fans" vote in Carter again this year. They can't be that stupid, can they? He's leading the SF voting.
Precious Roy 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 EDIT* nevermind It would be a travesty if Grant Hill isn't voted in at the 3, that's a guy who actually deserves it. Thankfully the voting is close enough and it's far enough away that I still have hope. But really, anyone is better than Carter.
Brett Favre 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Somewhere in NBA.com. I can't believe Marbury is like 7th in guards. Even Billups is ahead of him.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted December 18, 2004 Why don't go follow a new team and buy their hat? I'm sure it's not to late to hop on the Seattle Bandwagon. I'm certain Dama is having problems deciding which team is is "all time" favorite team this year...Seattle or Dallas or The spunky Trailblazers. At least Bob has proof he liked the shitty nets before hand...we won't blame you bob if you denouce the raps and nets to join a new bandwagon. Dude what's with the trolling? I like the Celtics and Rockets. Nobody else. And both teams suck *cries*. But I'm sticking by them. *adds Paul Pierce jersey to christmas list* The teams I support are in my signature. Notice if I like two teams from the same sport they're in different conferences. A Chiefs/Eagles Super Bowl or a Rockets/Celtics NBA Finals would be my dream every year. Then I could just sit back and enjoy the games and whoever wins.....I'm happy.

Steviekick 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2004 So, how long till Kidd and Carter start complaining and want to be traded again?
The Czech Republic 0 Report post Posted December 19, 2004 A Chiefs/Eagles Super Bowl or a Rockets/Celtics NBA Finals would be my dream every year. Then I could just sit back and enjoy the games and whoever wins.....I'm happy. Boston-Houston happened in the 80s. It was good then because you had Bird, McHale, and the gang against the Twin Towers, but a modern-day rematch really wouldn't do it for me, as much as I feel it would be good for the NBA if the Celtics restored their former greatness. bob_barron 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2004 I'm still gonna root for the Nets. It will be easier when my favourite player Zoran Planicic comes back. I survived the Butch Beard years- I can survive anything
